Chapter 25: A Tamaranian Wedding Part 1
Author's note: I'm so sorry for the delay in updates! Writers block came but I managed to defeat it at last! Now hopefully I can finish this fanfiction! I hope you enjoy!
Three years later...
Starfire hummed a tune to herself as she began to pack her suitcase.
"You sound happy today, Star." Nightwing commented, as he packed up his suitcase. "Then again, we both have a reason to be happy. We're getting married for the second time, but this time on Tamaran, to let your people to see the wedding. I'm glad Beast Boy, Cyborg, Raven and the children can come along with us, since Cy built another T-Sub for us. Ember's coming too, it would be her first time in space."
Starfire smiled and looked at him. "I am, very excited to see Tamaran, husband Nightwing. I cannot wait to see Galfore again and introduce him to Kori, and you. I know he's seen you as Robin but he hasn't seen you as Nightwing. I've been keeping in the contact with him."
Nightwing smiled. "I'm looking forward for this too! We'd better hurry up and pack, Kori's suitcase is done. This would also mark our third year wedding anniversary."
"And Kori will be six years old soon, same with the twins. I am now ready, husband Nightwing." Starfire smiled to him as she closed her suitcases.
"I'm ready too, I'm sure the others are waiting for us." Nightwing took the suitcases and carried them. "Come on, let's go." He stole a kiss from her lips and led the way to the T-Sub.
Starfire flew behind him, wishing he'd let her hold a suitcase. She knew it was a 'gentleman' kind of thing to do. The two Titans have became even closer in their relationship, ever since marrying three years ago.
Raven sighed as she waited patiently for Starfire and Nightwing to come. She was watching Kori, Mika and Sami playing around the T-Sub with Beast Boy and Cyborg. Ember was sitting with Raven.
"Tell me Raven, what is Tamaran like? You have been there right?" Ember asked, tilting her head curiously. She had never been out of space before and was very excited for it.
"It's beautiful." Raven replied, folding her arms. She watched as Beast Boy turned into a puppy and began playfully began to bark at the twins, who giggled in delight and started chasing after him. Beast Boy as the puppy form ran off, and hid behind Raven, the twins chased after him laughing. She was paying more attention to Beast Boy then Ember, her eyes were fixed on him and the twins.
Raven smiled to Beast Boy then put her hood on. Ember stayed quiet while watching the twins and Kori playing with Beast Boy and Cyborg. She and Raven were friends but not close, like Starfire and Raven are.
"Okay, okay that's enough kids! I need a rest, I'm going to sit with Rae-Rae!" Beast Boy morphed back into his normal self and ran to Raven's side, putting his arms around her waist. "I love you, Rae-Rae!" He whispered softly to her, stealing a kiss from Raven's lips.
"I love you too, B. I can't believe we've been married for three years. And that the twins are six years old this year, old enough to start learning how to use their powers." Raven smiled and rest her head on his shoulder.
"Mhm! I'm looking forward to see how they go with training." Beast Boy said, as he pulled her closer to him. "Your just so beautiful, Rae-Rae!" He whispered softly to her.
'And your just so cute Beastie Bear!' Raven thought to him, snuggling up to him.
'I love you, more and more each day Rae!' Beast Boy thought back, smiling to her.
'I love you more then anything in the world B. You mean everything to me, I can't imagine my life with out you! Or the twins.' Raven sighed happily as she snuggled up to her husband of three years.
Ember looked at Raven and Beast Boy and got up. She looked around for Cyborg and saw him playing with the twins and Kori.
"Sorry to keep you guys waiting! Alright, is everyone ready to go to Tamaran?" Nightwing's voice filled the air for a moment as he and Starfire appeared with their suitcases.
"Alright, finally! You bet! I'm looking forward to marry Rae-Rae again!" Beast Boy smiled happily, with his arms still around her.
Raven blushed, she nodded to agree with Beast Boy. Beast Boy got up then helped Raven up.
Cyborg, the twins and Kori came running up to Nightwing and Starfire.
"Are we going now, Uncle Nightwing?" Mika asked, sounding excited. "I've never been to this 'Space' before."
"That's because we're young, Mika! I'm sure Mummy and Daddy have been to space though." Sami replied to his sister.
"We have." Raven told her twins. "Come on you two, lets get ready to get on the T-Sub."
"Alright. Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy, Kori, Mika and Sami into this T-Sub, while Cyborg and Ember go into the second sub!" Nightwing ordered, pointing to the two T-Subs. One was bigger then the other.
"But what about you, Daddy?" Kori asked, looking up at Nightwing worriedly. "Are you staying home?"
Nightwing smiled to Kori. "I'll be coming with you and your mother, don't worry! I'm just letting everyone in first. I also want to check that everyone's here." He knelt down and explained to her. "Go in with Star, I'll join you two shortly." He smiled and gave her a kiss on the forehead. Kori nodded then ran over to Starfire, who was standing next to Raven.
Starfire picked Kori up in her arms and carried her to the T-Sub, she placed Kori in her seat and gave Kori a book to read. "It will be a long ride, Kori but I thought you may like this book. You have to stay seated until we reach Tamaran." She told her.
"Aw, okay Mummy. Sitting down for a long time is boring though. At least the twins have each other to play with." Kori sighed, looking at Mika and Sami who were chasing each other while waiting to get onto the T-Sub with their parents.
Starfire smiled. "I'm sure you'll find plenty do to, Kori! Be good and I'll give you a nice treat when we reach Tamaran. If you get bored I can give you another book or a toy from one of your suitcases. I will be over there if you need me, Kori. I will never be too far for you." Starfire pointed to the section of the T-Sub where she will be sitting.
Kori nodded, she glanced at the book Starfire had given her then opened it.
Raven had just put the twins in their section of the T-Sub.
"Mummy, do we really have to sit so long? Why can't you use your magic powers to teleport us to Tamaran?" Sami whined, folding his arms. He looked annoyed when Raven put his seat belt on.
"Yes you do. If I attempted to use my powers to Teleport us there, I'm sure that would drain all of my energy..It's a lot easier and safer to fly there by the T-Subs. Here's a suit case full of your toys and books. If you two get bored you could always play 'I Spy'" Raven explained to him, with a smile.
Mika looked at Raven and nodded. "I think I'll be fine with the books, Mummy."
Raven nodded then kissed the twins on their foreheads. "Be good you two! I won't be far from you, and I can hear you if you play up."
Sami pouted when she said that. "When can't you hear us?" He smirked cheekily.
Raven chuckled. "I'd better get to my seat, I love you two so much."
"We love you too, Mummy!" Mika and Sami chirped at the same time.
As soon as Raven walked over to Beast Boy, he quickly turned into a mouse and climbed up onto her shoulder, then turned into a Kitten and purred playfully.
"Come on, let's go, Nightwing is waiting for us to be seated. Then all of us can go together to Tamaran." Raven whispered softly to him. "You know your adorable, right?"
Beast Boy purred then turned back into his normal self, standing behind Raven he slipped his arms around her waist. "Your more adorable Rae-Rae!" He commented, smiling happily to her.
A few hours later...
The Titans finally made it to Tamaran, the twins and Kori found the ride to Tamaran rather boring and were glad when the T-Sub landed safely on the grounds of Tamaran.
"Mummy, where are we now?" Kori asked, looking ahead of her, seeing that they have landed.
"We are on the planet called Tamaran, my home. This is where the four of us will be holding our second wedding, so Galfore can see us get married." Starfire explained with her eyes shining. "Is it not the most beautiful planet your eyes have ever observed?" She asked, watching as a few Tamaranian Guards walking up to the T-Sub.
The Titans got out of the T-Sub, meaning to greet the Tamaranian Guards. The twins were with Raven and Beast Boy while Kori was safely in Starfire's arms.
"GO HOME!" One of the guards shouted at Nightwing. "AND DON'T COME BACK!"
"What?! But Galfore wanted us to come here to see Starfire and I marry." Nightwing cried out in surprise.
"GET OUT!" Another guard repeated, holding a Star-Bolt in his hands.
"Please stop. Nightwing is my husband and the others are my friends. We will not harm anyone, we promise. Galfore wished to see Nightwing and I get married on Tamaran. Can you please tell him that Starfire is here with her friends and husband?" Starfire pleaded with the guards.
The guard grunted and wondered off.
"Should we?" Raven raised an eye brow, wondering if they should follow them.
Ember noticed the guards were wearing a necklace of some sort which had a ruby red stone, which glowed when they spoke. "Raven, did you notice they all wore necklaces? Is that normal for the guards to wear them?" She whispered softly.
"The last time I came here, the Tamaranian Guards didn't wear necklaces, and they were nicer. Something's up in Tamaran." Raven frowned, folding her arms. She quickly told Starfire about the necklaces.
"Are you still here? I told you to go home!" A guard yelled at Nightwing, grabbing some sort of weapon that he had in his belt. "Beat it! SCRAM!"
The twins and Kori looked at the guards.
"Beat it and scram? Mummy what's going on?" Sami asked, looking at Raven.
Raven shrugged, she had no idea. "I'm not sure, and we're not leaving."
"I agree with Raven. We're staying, we'll have to find out what's going on and why the guards are acting this way." Nightwing announced.
Several more guards turned up, all of them wore the same necklace as the one that Ember had noticed.
"Uh-oh, here comes more trouble." Cyborg warned, getting ready to fight if needed.
"Shall we?" Starfire asked, looking at Nightwing wondering if they should attack the guards.
The Guards were the ones who attacked the Titans first, they threw star bolts at them.
"Titans GO!" Nightwing demanded, running towards the guards, getting ready to pull out one of his weapons.
Starfire flew with him and began throwing star bolts at the guards. Raven stayed behind with Beast Boy to protect the three youngest Titans who were terrified on what was going on.
Cyborg and Ember helped tackle the guards. The fight lasted several minutes, until one of the guards threw something down onto the ground and sent the Titans to sleep. The Guards picked each Titan and the three kids up and carried them off to an unknown location on Tamaran.
What will happen to the Titans when they wake up?
