Chapter 26: Prisoners

Note: This is a part of the "A Tamaranian Wedding!"

A familiar character returns and tries taking over Tamaran, but will he be successful?

"Where are we?" Nightwing groaned as he woke up, finding himself in a clear cylinder tube as a prisoner. "Why am I trapped in a cylinder?" He looked around at his surroundings, finding the other Titans in their own cylinder tubes too, even the children.

One by one each Titan woke up. Starfire was on the other side of the room, with Kori next to her in a separate tube.

"Mummy! Is this a normal greeting from Tamaran?" Kori asked, surprisingly she wasn't as scared as Nightwing thought she would be.

"No darling it is not normal. We have been captured as prisoners, for what reason I do not know." Starfire told her.

"Azerath, Metrion, Zinthous!" Raven attempted to use her powers to try and get out of the tube and found out that her powers didn't work. "These tubes have cut out our powers..." She warned the others. Beast Boy was on the opposite side of the room and tried to turn into different animals to get out of the tube, he wanted to return to Raven's side as soon as possible, he hated being a part from her. His powers didn't work either.

"That's right fellow Titans...You are prisoners until I have completed my mission in Tamaran!" A familiar male's voice explained to Starfire. A man in a strange suit appeared and walked over to Starfire "You will find it impossible to escape from these tubes, as your powers aren't working. Tamaranians are worthless, they can't do a thing right so I've decided to take over and make things right by getting them off this planet...Or making them as my slaves, depends on how strong they are. The weak ones I send away, the strong ones I make as my slave to rebuild this planet to become mine."

Raven looked up and saw a male figure. The male was wearing a helmet to cover his face to prevent the Titans from recognizing his voice and face. She glared at him and tried to think of a way to get out. 'Beast Boy, can you hear me?' She thought, wondering if this guy cut out their thoughts.

'I can hear you Rae! He may have cut out our powers but he can never cut out the power of love!' Beast Boy thought to Raven, making her blush.

Thinking Raven blushed when he told her the plans, the mysterious stranger looked at her. "You, how would you like to work by my side? We can conquer Tamaran together!" He smirked, although Raven couldn't see him smirking.

'This guy is out of his mind!' Raven thought. "In your dreams, I'll never pair up with you! Just because I'm a half demon half human, it doesn't mean I'm evil like you! Ow!" Raven hissed, then got zapped by the stranger.

"Mummy!" Mika and Kori cried out in fear watching her get zapped in the tube.

"Oh quiet you two!" The stranger zapped them and made them cry.

"Leave the twins ALONE!" Raven hissed, punching at the tube, trying to get out of it.

Nightwing couldn't take it anymore, nor could Beast Boy, they punched and kicked at the tube as long as they could and still couldn't break it.

"Good luck breaking out of the tube, I've got other Tamaranians trapped in theirs! They can't be rescued until you guys get out..Until then Good luck!" With that, the man vanished in thin air.

"He sounds familiar, I can't work out where I've met him." Nightwing frowned, punching at the tube that he was trapped in.

"He hates Tamaran..." Starfire joined in, kicking at her tube, pretending it was the guy who trapped her.

"He sounds like Valyor the way you two described him." Cyborg joined in, punching at his tube, he looked around and watched as Ember kicked, punched and scratched at hers with all of her energy.

"I doubt Valyor would do a thing like this...Or would he? I didn't like the way he treated Star when we first met him." Nightwing punched the glass even harder thinking about the way Valyor would call Starfire a "Troq" which meant she was nothing.

"Who is this Valyor?" Ember asked as she kicked at the tube, pretending it was the guy who captured them and made them as prisoners.

"He's a guy we met a few years back..." Cyborg began, then explained to her who he was. "He hated Starfire and was mean to her. We couldn't understand why he hated her...He'd always call her a Troq, which meant she was worthless and nothing."

"That's horrible! I'm sorry that happened to you Star! If it is him, I'll burn him up!" Ember looked over at Starfire who was punching and kicking the tube like crazy.

"It is okay friend Ember. Kori, don't hurt yourself trying to get out of this, I will try and find a way out so I can break you, Kori and Mika free!" Starfire said.

"It's pointless trying to escape Titans...These Tubes are powerful, nothing can break them. Oh and Nightwing I took away your weapons and destroyed them." A voice on a loud speaker in the room told them.

Ember frowned and looked at her gloves, wondering if she removed them would her powers work? She knew the others were powerless due to being trapped in the cylinder tubes. 'It's worth a try I guess!' Ember thought.

Beast Boy sighed, he looked over at Raven then the twins. 'Rae-Rae! How are we going to get out of here? I can't stand being apart from you even though we're in the same room!' He thought as he looked at her, longing to hug her again.

'I don't know B...I guess we'll find a way, but when we do, we're going to take this guy down!' Raven thought back to him. 'I hate being away from you too, considering we're in the same room...I feel lonely when I'm not with you!'

"You may think that whoever you are...But we're the Teen Titans and nothing can keep us as prisoner for long! We will get out and we will find you and capture you, then return Tamaran to it's normal state...Valyor, isn't it?" Nightwing announced, more determined then ever to escape.

"GNH! How did you know? Oh who cares you'll find out anyway...But you won't be able to defeat me when I've got a whole army of strong Tamaranians!" Valyor's voice boasted over the speakers.

"You may have an army of Tamaranians, but we're one team and we stick together no matter what happens!" Cyborg joined in.

Will the Titans manage to escape from the Cylinders that have held them captured?
Is it really Valyor who has taken over Tamaran? Or is it someone in disguise?
Will Ember's plan work?
