Joey sighed. It had been a long day, and it hadn't gone too smooth. First he'd slipped in water, getting the whole front of his uniform wet.(Needless to say, the kids at school got a good laugh) Then, in Mrs.Erichi's class, he'd gotten an F on his test.(He never was very good at algebra.) Afterwards, Mrs.Endokai gave him detention for accidently speaking his opinion on her rather bad taste in clothing. (What? The woman was wearing a poka-dotted dress with bright red pumps, he had to say something!) And finally, to top it all off, Mr.Tanouchi told him he was kicked off the soccer team for behavor and academic reasons.(Joey was all too ready to bet it was Endokai that got him kicked off....) But that wasn't all, no, that wasn't all. His boyfriend, Yami, said he'd found someone else. Someone else! It made Joey pissed just to think of it! And the worst thing was, that someone else was Bakura! He got dumped for Bakura! He sighed. Oh well, he hadn't really been inlove with Yami anyway. Nope, there was someone else for him too, although Yami leaving him for Bakura was rather embarassing. But as far as he knew, this 'someone else' wasn't interested. 'Oh well,' Joey thought. ' I s'pose its fur the best, anyway.' He opened the door to the small apartment he lived in with his dad, if you could call his dad a dad. His dad didn't really care if Joey lived or died, he just liked the tax cut he got from his son living with him. The bloned flopped down on the sofa, his messy locks hanging in his eyes. "Wonder what hes doin' righ now?" Joey asked aloud, refering to his mystery 'someone else'. He turned on the T.V. and started channel surfing, but nothing was on. Then his attention turned to the phone.'Maybe I should call him.' He thought. 'He might be free....or not' He reached for the phone and dialed the number.... _______________________________________________________________________
