Giles still remembers it.
H̶e doesn't want to.
He remembers going home to his apartment, doing the spell to uninvite Angelus, and seeing Angelus as his door.
"Sorry Angel, you can't enter."
"Too bad, but I just came to tell you something."
He still remembers those words.
"Jenny wasn't as lucky as you."
He remembers burning down the factory, almost dying in the process. He remembers Buffy saving him.
Willow was now responsible for teaching multiple classes of other students, some older than her.
She didn't mind though. She found teaching fun, exciting, and she learnt so much through this experience. She had even used Ms. Calender's old computer to learn witchcraft, which she found fun.
She did miss Ms. Calendar though.
But through these new abilities, she had noticed something odd, to say the least. She eventually managed to narrow it down. Time travel.
Specifically to 2008 and to the location of Bryan, Texas. She never imagined time travel to be possible, but she never thought vampires were real either.
"Ok, so your probably wondering why I called you all here."
In the library, she had an audience of her two best friends, Giles, her, friend (?) Cordelia, and her boyfriend Oz. She continued.
"I noticed something... off... recently. Consulting Ms. Calender's messaging boards, I concluded that it's time travel." Willow saw Giles flinch at the mention of Ms. Calendar, so she felt guilt at bringing up what happened, but she needed further answers.
"Drusilla wasn't at the warehouse when you attack Angel, correct?"
"Um, uh y-yes," he said, clearly caught off guard.
"I believe it was Drusilla, we haven't seen her since."
Xander stood up, "Sorry Will, but I'm inclined to not believe this weird energy thingy you've been feeling."
"Xander look I did some research time travel spells are actually pretty easy for beginners, and if I was wrong we'll be able to be back as soon as we left."
Xander rolled his eyes, "I doubt bending the laws of time is tha-"
"No, um, Xander, she's right," Giles interrupted, much to Willow's satisfaction, "those spells are actually pretty easy."
"Well look, I'm willing to do it, basically the only way I can leave Sunnydale for a while without putting anyone in danger," Buffy said, jumping off the table.
"I suppose I'll allow this, and I'll come to, of course," Giles stated.
Oz, Cordelia, and Xander all agreed as well.
"Great, we should all pack an extra pair of clothing and some money,"
"I'll handle the money," Giles interrupted.
"And, we'll do this after school tomorrow," Willow finished, "I-if that's ok with Giles, of course."
Giles nodded in response.
