and blazing eyes
bloodshot, pink and squinting
dazing phazing vibrating
too much light
gazing at a crippled right

open mouth
and arm raised high
screaming words to be denied
ignored and punished
scorned and thrust aside
"we'll not back off and
will not hide!"

bringing, flinging
stinging screams at
deaf, decidedly
they will not hear
but we'll not adhere
and stand by idlely
