A/N - Naruto will have gravity release (Wind, Earth, and Lightning.) The timeline will be much much different and the ship will be something not many people do. The other fics will be finished as well, I'm just taking my time and get out other ideas.

Chapter 1 - Genin

Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze, son of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Namikaze. He was currently standing in front of Hiruzen Sarutobi, the third Hokage.

"Well, Naruto. It seems you have impressed your instructors quite a bit." Said the Hokage with a smile.

"Yes, lord third." Naruto said in a professional tone.

"It's not normal for a student to not only graduate within a few months, but to also attend a year earlier. I expect great things out of you." The Hokage said with a smile.

Appearing behind the blond, a woman with long black hair, a clone shirt and slit that fitted perfectly around her body, along with tall black shinobi leggings up to her her upper legs. She had black shinobi sandals and a black sword strapped to her back.

"Hello, Naruto. My name is Mikoto Uchiha. I will be your jonin sensei." The woman said with a welcoming tone.

Naruto bowed. "Hello, Mikoto sensei." Naruto responded respectfully.

"Naruto, Mikoto may be young for a jonin sensei. However, just two years ago, at the age of fifteen, she passed her jonin exams going solo. I believe she will be the perfect sensei for you." Hiruzen said with a smile.

"Okay, Naruto. Let's go to our training field." Mikoto said as she exited the room with Naruto following behind.

Training Field

"Okay. As you know, your situation is a little different. Because of no genin teams having any spots available, you'll be placed with me until we either get new students or you become a chunin." Mikoto explained.

"Yes, Mikoto sensei." Naruto said.

"Now, this is my first time being a jonin sensei. So this will be new to the both of us. We're going to do a basic introduction. Tell me your name, likes, dislikes, any hobbies, things you want to learn, and your dreams for the future. Also, any skills you have will be nice to hear." The Uchiha woman said.

"My name is Naruto Uzumaki Namikaze. I enjoy training and reading. I dislike those who are lazy and believe having talent is enough. My hobbies include training and studying Fuinjutsu. My dreams for the future is to become Hokage." Naruto said with a confident smirk.

"Hokage? That's quite the dream." Mikoto commented as she realized how much Naruto reminded her of her cousin, Obito.

"My skills include the ability to control wind, along with both Earth and Fire elemental jutsu. I'm quite skilled in Fuinjutsu, though, I haven't been tested. I've taken an interest in Kenjutsu but I haven't been able to find someone to teach me." Naruto explained.

"Huh? You haven't been taught any Kenjutsu? So you know who your mother is?" Mikoto asked.

"Yes, Mikoto sensei. My mother is the Hot red demon. He kenjutsu skills are on a new level." Naruto explained.

"Why haven't you asked her to teach you?" Mikoto asked.

"She explained that I wasn't ready. I understand the basics but I don't own a sword. So I'm stuck using a kunai." Naruto explained.

Mikoto looked at the boy. He wore an orange vest with black shorts and black sandals. His hair was a messy blond color. "Alright. Well, I happen to be decent in Kenjutsu. Usually, a jonin sensei gives a test. However, I'm going to have a spar with you. Do your best. This is how i will know what areas to work on." Mikoto said.

"Yes, Mikoto sensei." Naruto said as he adopted the Namikaze humming bird style with a kunai in his hand.

The jonin took a defensive stance as Naruto charged at her with his kunai. To her surprise, Naruto's kunai caught her off guard as he went to sweep her feet. However, she was able to jump up and plant both of her feet into his chest and send him back.

She decided to follow up while going through a series of hand seals. "Fire Release - Grand Fireball." Mikoto said as she fired a large ball of fire.

"Earth Release - Earth barrier." Naruto said as he was protected from the flames. He then jumped out and prepared his own counter strike. "Wind Release - Great Breakthrough." Naruto declared as a massive gust of wind sent Mikoto flying.

She was able to gain control and use a fire wall that protected her. "Not bad. Shadow Clone Shurike." Mikoto said as she threw a few shuriken and they multiplied.

Naruto deflected them with his kunai but learned that it was a distraction. It was too late, Mikoto charged and punched the blond in the gut. The force of her punch forced him to cough up blood.

"You aren't too bad. However, you have a long way to go." Mikoto said with a smirk.

Naruto picked himself up. "I'm not done yet." Naruto declared as he went through a series of hand seals. "Lightning Release - Triple Shocking Arrows!" Naruto roared and three lightning bolts came from the sky in Mikoto's direction.

She activated her Sharingan and immediately countered by shooting her fire balls at them. She soon saw that it was Naruto's distracting. Unlike the blond, Mikoto had experience as she was able to catch his fist. Coming fast, Naruto swung his leg at her. Mikoto smirked as she caught his leg.

"Now I got you." Naruto said with a smirk as his free hand was driving at her. She quickly used a substitution to avoid any damage. "Damn." Naruto muttered.

"You're strong, Naruto. It seems the rumors are true about you being able to manipulate the three elements. You also have great control and decent stamina. However, you need to work on your speed and strength." Mikoto said.

"Yes, Mikoto sensei." Naruto said with a bow.

"Naruto, are you hungry?" Asked Mikoto with a smile.

"Yes, sensei. I could really use some ramen right now." Naruto said with a sheepish smile.

"Alright, come on. It's my treat." Mikoto said as she vanished in a shun shin. Little did she know, Naruto was able to follow her by using a shun shin.

Ramen Shop

Mikoto was sitting down and was impressed by her student's use of the shun shin.

"Not bad. So tell me, Naruto. Why do you want to become the Hokage?" Mikoto asked.

Naruto smiled brightly. "Because I plan on doing something no Hokage has ever done before. I'm going to create a world without hatred, war, and death. Im going to unite all the hidden villages" Naruto declared.

"You know, you remind me of my cousin. He is currently in the academy. Do you know Obito?" Mikoto asked.

"Yeah, I do. He works harder than anyone else. Well, maybe aside from Might Guy. Either way, he is going to be strong when he gets older." Naruto explained.

"I see. Well, I hope you enjoy your ramen. For the next month, it's none stop training for the next month. Im going to bring you past your limits and turn you into a real shinobi." Mikoto said.

"More training? I thought we would be going out on missions that involve us saving a princess or eliminating a village." Naruto said with disappointment.

"Naruto, what is a shinobi?" Mikoto asked.

"What kind of question is that? A shinobi is a powerful ninja that fights for their village, right? We help people and make the world better." Naruto said.

Mikoto sighed. "Naruto, a shinobi is someone that does fight for there village and we complete our missions. It could be as simple as getting groceries for our neighbors or as difficult as assassinating a Damiyo for another country. We're in war. War is a horrible thing and I need to get you ready for it." Mikoto explained.

Naruto face frowned. "Am I going to fight in the war?" Naruto asked.

Mikoto nodded. "Yes. You will be on the frontlines and your fellow shinobi will place their lives in your hand as you will to them. You will need to be able to eliminate your targets Emory else they will kill you." She continued explaining.

"Mikoto sensei? Why did you become a shinobi?" Naruto asked.

"Well, my father is Kagami Uchiha. He once served with Lord Third under the second Hokage in the first Great War. As our clan leader, I couldn't back down and bring shame to him. So, I worked my ass off and trained hard every day of my life." Mikoto said.

Naruto nodded. "Well, Mikoto sensei, what are we waiting for? I'm going to train just as hard, if not harder than you! I will become a powerful shinobi and you'll be the one looking up to me!" Naruto shouted.

This made her laugh. "You have a long way before that happens. However, I do like the motivation. You'll need it for what I've got prepared. Tomorrow, meet me at the front gate." Mikoto said as she vanished in a shun shin.

Hokage's office

"So, how did he do?" Asked Hiruzen as he was circled by Minato, Kushina, Orochimaru, Joraiya, Tsunade, and Kagami.

"He forced me to use my Sharingan. However, he has much potential. That's why with your permission, Lord Third, I would like to take Naruto out of the village for three years to train." Mikoto said.

"Three years? What could you have to teach him that would take three years?" Hiruzen asked.

"A lot. He has potential to be just as powerful, if not more powerful than Sakumo Hatake." Mikoto explained.

"Kushina, Minato? What do you two think?" Hiruzen asked.

"I don't know. This war has me worried." Kushina said.

"Mikoto, do you really believe that training Naruto for theee years outside the village is a good idea? I mean, why couldn't it be inside the village?" Minato asked.

"Aside from having an extra two pairs of eyes and ears outside the village. I can use this time to focus on helping Naruto grow with little to no interference. We can take missions and I can help him get over his first kill, teach him what it means to be a shinobi." Mikoto explained.

"That lucky brat. It would be a sin to not send him. What guy wouldn't want Mikoto with them, alone, for three years?" Jiraiya asked with a perverted smile before he was hit by both Kushina and Tsunade.

"I think it will be fine. We are at war and while the benefit of having Mikoto is high, the benefit is even higher if she is training a student of her own. She has my blessing." Said Orochimaru.

"I agree. Naruto has shown us that he is ready to be a shinobi. If anyone is perfect to train him, it's Mikoto." Tsunade commented.

Both Minato and Kushina sighed before agreeing. "Thank you, now, father. I do have a request." Mikoto said as she turned to her father.

"What is it, dear?" The older Uchiha asked.

"I would like to teach Naruto the Uchiha Taijutsu and Kenjutsu Style - Halo dance. I know it's only for the Uchiha clan, but I believe the style will suit Naruto perfectly." Mikoto declared.

Kagami smiled. "Of course. You have my blessings." Kagami said as his daughter gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Alright, I've got to get going. I have to get Naruto some things and prepare. I will see you guys at the gate in the morning." Mikoto said.

"What about Fugaku? I'm sure he will mess you." Kagami teased.

"Shit up, dad. Tell that arrogant and emotionless bastard that when he has the balls to talk to me instead of getting his followers to do it. Then we can talk." Mikoto said as she vanished.
