All it took for his heart to run a marathon was one glance.
It was always like that ever since they were in kindergarten, seeing Chiyo from a distance. BT didn't know how, but he managed to walk up to her one day. She was alone and some part of him couldn't let her eat lunch by herself. After that, they hung out more and they became friends. That fluttery feeling he had stayed the same throughout the years. He just never told her how he felt.
BT always thought she was pretty. It didn't matter how she dressed or how long her hair was, it got his heart pounding. He always had her back and she always had his. It was the same when Glenny joined them, in fact all three of them had each other's backs, but nothing truly changed between him and Chiyo.
That was until Chiyo met the monkey team and fought by their side to protect Shuggazoom and, by extension, the universe. It wasn't the exact same anymore, but when he saw her out on the battlefield, his feelings towards her only grew stronger. Not only was she beautiful, but she was able to kick some ass too. If there was something he could be thankful for when it came to those monkeys, it was making her an even better person.
BT was happy that she got everything she ever needed.
He was also glad that she still hung out with them. It meant that he and Glenny meant a lot to her as well, he just didn't know to what extent. BT didn't know if they were simply her best friends, or if he was something more to her. It was something he didn't know and he wanted to know. He knew she was dating Jinmay, but it didn't mean he didn't have a chance with her. He didn't even mind if Chiyo dated them both, he just wanted to be able to hold her hand and be by her side.
Until that happened, all he could do was stand there and watch her fight against those Formless creatures. He happily sighed as he watched her every move.
"You really should say something to her, Ben." Glenny sipped his drink.
BT's face turned red. "Ya always say that, fool! Don't ya know that I know that?!"
"Yet you never do anything about this crush of yours." Glenny rolled his eyes.
BT groaned before he continued watching her. For years he hated how Glenny talked about it like it was such an easy thing to do. Then again, maybe it was that easy and BT made it harder than it really was.
Ben appreciated how much Glenny tried to help though.

Also why aren't BT and Glenny listed as characters? ...Is it one of the "unknown" character options? I'm genuinely unsure and I don't know what to do there-
