/Enchanted Forest\

As fast as the horse could go, Prince Charming was trying to get to his true love, praying that he wasn't too late. He kept on going, keeping one name in mind. Prince Charming rode his horse, meeting several dwarves gathered around a glass coffin. He jumped off the horse, looking at the coffin, knowing he failed Snow White.

"You're too late."

Charming shook his head, not wanting to believe he failed his true love.

"No. No! Open it!"

"I'm sorry, she's gone."

"At least let me say goodbye," Prince Charming said sadly, feeling his eyes tearing up from losing his love.

The dwarves removed the lid, letting Prince Charming say goodbye to Snow White. The prince leans down, placing a kiss on the woman's lips. Right when he kissed Snow, a pulse of magic spread throughout the land, breaking the curse Snow White was in.

Snow White gasped, waking up before meeting the eyes of Prince Charming.

"You… You found me," Snow White said in shock, not thinking Prince Charming would find her now or ever.

"Did you ever doubt I would?" Prince Charming asked, taking Snow White into his arms. True love would always find a way.

"Truthfully, the glass coffin gave me a pause," Snow White admitted.

"Well, you never have to worry. I will always find you."

"Do you promise?"

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

"I do," Prince Charming replied with a smile, staring at the woman standing in front of him.

"And do you, Snow White, promise to take this man to be your husband, and love him for all eternity?"

"I do," smiled Snow White, feeling happy she was going to get her happy ever after with her true love.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife."

The crowd cheated for the newly wedded couple. They lean in to kiss each other, but they were interrupted by the Evil Queen.

"It's the Evil Queen! Run!"

Snow White stepped forward, taking Prince Charming's sword. She pointed it towards the Evil Queen, saying loudly, "She's not the Queen anymore. She's nothing more than an evil witch."

Prince Charming was by his wife's side, taking the sword from her hands, saying, "No, no, no. Don't stoop to her level. There's no need. You're wasting your time. You've already lost. And I will not let you ruin this wedding."

"Oh, I haven't come here to ruin anything. On the contrary, dead. I've come to give you a gift," said the Evil Queen, not too nicely.

"We want nothing from you."

"But you shall have it! My gift to you is this happy, happy day. But tomorrow, my real work begins. You've made your vows, now I make mine. Soon, everything you love, everything all of you love, will be taken from. Forever. And out of your suffering, will rise my victory. I shall destroy your happiness, if it is the last I do," the Evil Queen said, meaning every word she said.

The Evil Queen turned around, leaving the wedding. But Prince Charming stepped forward, yelling angrily, "Hey!"

The Evil Queen turned around just in time to see Prince Charming throw his sword towards her. Before it strikes her, the Evil Queen disappears. After she disappeared, the people talked nervously together, fearing the Evil Queen had a plan. Snow White and Prince Charming hug each other, hoping good will win again because Good will always win.

/Storybrooke\

Marcellus David Gold. A name that people would shiver at since he's the son of Mr. R. Gold. People assumed he would be exactly like his father. But that's far from the truth if you get to know Marcellus Gold. He works with his father at their shop ~ Gold & Son Pawnbrokers and Antiquities.

People would believe he doesn't have friends, but that's a lie since he's friends with a school teacher named Mary Margaret and a waitress that works at Granny's Diner named Ruby Lucas.

How would you know? I'm sure you're wondering. Because I am Marcellus David Gold, the twenty-eight-year-old son of Mr. Gold.

Today is my twenty-eighth birthday and of course, I was working at the shop while my papa was in the back room doing something. I didn't see the point of taking today off since it was like every day and birthday for me. Papa tried to give me the day off, but I wouldn't let him.

I was reading a book since there was no one in the shop, besides my papa and me, when I heard a small knock on the window. I glanced up to see the mayor's son, Henry Mills, standing there with his book clutching to his chest.

I signal for him to wait before turning to the back room.

"Papa, Henry is here. I'm going to walk him to school," I told my papa before leaving after he gestured for me to leave. I left the shop, greeting Henry with a handshake we created.

"I know where my mom is," was the first thing Henry said after the handshake. I looked down at him confused and started to head for the school.

"Yeah, your mother should be at work, Henry," I told him, not sure what the ten-year-old was getting at.

He quickly shook his head, replying, "No, not her. My biological mother. And I'm going to get her to come here with your help."

I came to a complete stop, having Henry stop a few inches in front of me with a huge smile on his face.

"How do you know you're adopted, kiddo?"

Yes, Henry Mills was Regina Mills' adopted son, but that doesn't mean a thing. He was still her son, adopted or not. I don't think Regina would tell her own son that he's adopted.

"That doesn't matter, Marc," Henry shrugged his shoulders, "I need to get my real mom here to break the curse."

Oh yeah, the curse. Since Mary gave Henry a book named Once Upon a Time, Henry believes everyone (bar him and me) are cursed. I don't believe him, but who am I to ruin his imagination?

"Henry," I started, but his smile faded and he looked down at the ground, "Please, Marc."

I'm going to regret this, ain't I? I thought to myself, rubbing my face before replying, "Okay, kiddo. I will come with you to bring your birth mom here. But if she doesn't want to come, we cannot force her. Understand?"

Henry looked back up with his famous smile on his face once again, "Understand!"

"Where is your birth mom?"

"Boston!"

Oh god, I thought to myself, following the mayor's son.

The mayor. Damn. She's not going to be happy with either Henry or me. Same with my papa. But I cannot let Henry go on this trip on his own. Who knows what would happen if he went on his own.

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

/Boston\

I couldn't believe I'm doing this. Henry and I were on the Greyhound, heading for Boston to meet Henry's birth mother for the first time. There could be anything I could be doing for my birthday, but nope! I'm helping Henry find his birth mother. Fun.

"That's a good big?" I heard a woman asked, having me turn to see her looking down at Henry's brown book of fairy tales.

"This… it's more than a book," Henry replied, having me roll my eyes. I know I shouldn't have Henry believe in that book, but he's a ten-year-old boy who has a big imagination. His mother would disagree, saying he needs to know the difference between fairy tales and the real world. That is true, but you cannot take a child's imagination away.

"Oh," the woman chuckled before turning away. I shook my head at her before my ears caught the announcement, "Boston sub-station. Thank you for riding Greyhound."

Henry smiled at me when we got off the bus. He was truly excited to meet his birth mom. I just hope she won't break Henry's heart.

Henry walked up to a taxi, which got me confused.

"Uh, do you take credit cards?" Henry asked, showing the driver a card. I narrowed my eyes, noticing it said Mary Margaret's name on it. I groaned, not liking how Henry stole my friend's card.

We slipped into the taxi, having me take Mary's card from Henry's hands.

"After this, you and I will talk about stealing things from people, kiddo," I whispered in his ear.

The kid decided to give me a smirk before looking out of the window. I shook my head at him before looking down at my phone.

Six messages and four missed calls from papa, one miss called from Mary, and five missed calls from the Mayor. Great. I know they (papa and Regina) were going to call me. But why would Mary? Oh yeah, we were going to have dinner at her home for my birthday.

First message: Marc, have you seen the Mayor's son?

Second message: Your friend stopped by the shop, searching for you.

Third message: Son, why are you not answering me?

Fourth message: Do you know where Henry Mills is? Is that why you're answering me?

Fifth message: Marcellus David Gold. Why are you not answering me? Where are you? The mayor believed you had something to do with Henry missing.

Sixth message: Please don't leave me, son. Please come home.

The last message hit me in the heart. Did papa believe I was running away from home? I would never leave him behind. If I ever move out of Storybrooke, I would take him with me.

To Papa from Marc

Papa, you have nothing to worry about. I will return home very soon. I promise. Henry found out that he's adopted and decided to search for his birth mom. I couldn't let him come to Boston alone. Please don't tell the mayor we're in Boston. I love you, papa.

I hit send, placing my phone on my leg. Not even five seconds later, my phone ding, meaning I have a text message.

To Marc from Papa

You could have warned me about your trip to Boston. I don't have to tell the mayor where you are since you're my son. Don't worry. I will not tell her that Henry was searching for his birth mom.

I smiled down at the text before feeling the taxi come to a stop. Henry and I got out of the taxi. I looked up at the building before chasing after the child. This boy really wants to meet his birth mom. And damn, he is fast.

I caught up when he rang the doorbell to one of the apartments.

"Henry!" I whispered angrily, "You don't know the room number."

The boy nodded his head right when the door opened.

I looked over at the woman, meeting her green eyes. I don't know why, but I felt a connection with this blonde-haired woman. Not a romantic connection. I felt protective over her and I don't know why.

"Uh…. Can I help you?" the woman questioned us.

I was going to reply, but Henry cut me off by saying, "Are you Emma Swan?"

"Henry!" I snapped, but he waved me off. I shook my head at the boy when the woman replied confused, "Yeah, who are you?"

"My name's Henry. Your son," he replied, slipping under Emma Swan's arm.

"Henry!" I shouted, stepping into the apartment after Emma let me in, "You don't just go into someone's home! I'm so sorry about him."

"It's fine," Emma replied, looking me up and down, "Are you his father?"

I chuckled, "No. I'm Marcellus Gold. You could say I'm his babysitter… occasionally. He said that you're his birth mother."

"Whoa! Kid! Kid! I don't have a son! Where are your parents?"

"His mom will not be happy about this," I mumbled under my mouth at the same Henry replied, "Ten years ago, did you give a baby up for adoption? That was me."

I watched as Emma's eyes cloud with pain before mumbling, "Give me a minute." I stood there, watching as Emma escaped the living room. I spin towards Henry. The boy shouted, "Hey, you have any juice? Never mind, found some!"

"Henry!" I snapped quietly, "You don't drink from strangers! I know you think she's your birth mother, but we don't know who she is! We need to get back to Storybrooke!"

Henry turned towards me, mumbling quietly, "You promise."

"Yes,"I sighed, "I did promise. I also told you that we will not force her to come with us if she doesn't want to. My papa told me that your mom is searching for you. We really need to get going."

Henry shook his head, stepping away from me with tears in his eyes. Great. I didn't mean to make him cry. I heard a door and I knew Emma was coming out. I really need to make it up to him. I turn towards Emma, saying quietly, "You know, we should get going."

"Going where?"

Henry jumped next to me, and I could tell the boy was smiling with happiness, "I want you to come home with me."

Emma raised her eyebrow at us before saying, "Okay, kid and Marcellus. I'm calling the cops."

"Then I'll tell them you kidnapped me."

"Henry!" I snapped at him, not liking how Henry was trying to blackmail Emma Swan. I know for sure Regina didn't raise him like this.

"And they'll believe you because I'm your birth mother," sighed Emma, looking like she was defeated by a kid who was ten years old. I looked away, trying not to laugh at the boy since this wasn't funny…. Okay. Maybe a little.

"Yep."

I smack Henry on the back of the head, glaring at him. Now, I think this isn't funny at all. This boy is really going to be the death of me.

"You're not going to do that," Emma said, staring down at Henry.

"Try me."

"You're pretty good. But here the thing — there's not a lot I'm great at in life. I still have one. Let's call it a superpower. I can tell when anyone is lying and you, kid, are."

I saw the feat in Henry's face when he begged quickly, "Wait…. Please don't call the cops. Please, come home with me."

Emma stared at Henry, and opened her mouth to reply, but I stopped her.

"Look. I don't know your reasons for giving Henry up, but when he saw me today, he wanted to search for you. At first, I told him I didn't think it was a good idea. I know Henry. He would search for you alone if he had to. We came all this way to meet you and come with us. Please. If not for yourself, for Henry."

I wrapped my arm around Henry, begging silently that Emma would agree to come with us. If she doesn't, we came here for no reason.

"Where's home?" Emma questioned us.

I smiled thankful, "Storybrooke, Maine."

"Storybrooke? Seriously?"

"Mmhmm."

"Alright, then. Let's get you back to Storybrooke."

/Enchanted Forest\

A castle, that's in the forest, lives Snow White and her husband, Prince Charming. Snow White was standing by the door of the balcony. Her eyes followed the bluebird that flew off her finger. Snow wasn't just worried about her kingdom; her mind was going to the infant that was growing inside of her womb. Yes, Snow White was pregnant by Prince Charming.

"What's wrong?" Snow heard her husband ask her worriedly.

She turned towards him, replying with a lie, "Nothing."

Of course, Charming saw right through her. He stepped closer to her, saying what he believes is on her mind, "You're thinking about what the Queen said again, aren't you? Snow, please. I can't keep having this conversation. You have to let it go. We're about to have a baby."

Charming turned Snow towards him, trying to calm his pregnant wife down, "That's what she wants – to get in your head. But they're only words. She can't hurt us."

But Snow somehow didn't believe, having her say a bit loud, "She poisoned an apple because she thought I was prettier than her. You have no idea of what she's capable of."

The prince sighed gently, "What can I do to ease your mind?"

Snow looked Charming straight in his eyes, replying what she's been thinking for a while, "Let me talk to him."

Fear filled up Charming's eyes when that sentence escaped his wife's mouth since he had a feeling who Snow was talking about. That man was very dangerous, and Charming wasn't sure why Snow wanted to talk to him.

"Him? You don't mean…"

"I do," replied Snow, nodding her head.

"No. No. No. It's too dangerous," Charming claimed, trying to make his wife see this wasn't a good idea at all. He doesn't want that beast to hurt Snow or their unborn child.

"He sees the future."

"There's a reason why he's locked up," Charming told Snow, trying to have her change her mind. But it seemed like Snow wasn't having it, "Can you promise me that our child will be safe? Can you guarantee it? Because he can."

Charming sighed, thinking about their child. Snow was right; the only person that guarantees the safety of his and Snow's child is him. But that doesn't mean Charming trusts him or anything. This was for their child, nothing else.

"Alright. For our child."

/Boston\

Here we go. Back to Storybrooke. I was in the passage seat while Emma Swan was driving her yellow bug. Henry was in the back, sitting in the middle. My papa already knows we are returning, but I didn't tell him Henry's birth mom's name since I felt that Emma might just drop us off and return to her home in Boston.

It was quiet in the car until my ears caught Henry's voice, "I'm hungry. Can we stop somewhere?"

Damn. That kid will be the death of me someday.

"This is not a road trip," Emma and I said in unison, "We're not stopping for snacks."

Emma and I shared a look before I glanced away from her. There was something about her that I cannot place my finger on, and I don't know why. For some odd reason, I feel a connection with her, and it's not a romantic connection.

I shook my head, not wanting to think like that. This woman was a stranger to me. I don't need to have anything to do with her. I just need to get Henry home and I need to talk to my papa.

"Why not?"

"Henry!" I snapped angrily while Emma said annoyed, "Quit complaining, kid. Remember — I could have put your butt on a bus. I still could."

"Henry, she is right. Emma doesn't have to give us a ride home. She is doing this out of the kindness of her heart," I told him, raising my voice, really getting annoyed at how he was treating this whole solution, "I know for sure your mom raised you better than this."

After I raised my voice at him a bit, there was silence in the car. I did feel guilty for raising my voice, but that kid needs to learn some manners if Regina wasn't teaching him anything. I inhaled light and went to say something. But the ten year old boy caught me off by mumbling, "Sorry, Marc and Emma."

Once again, it was quiet in the car. I don't mind the quiet, but it's a bit tense. I think Emma noticed this too, having her asked Henry, "What's that?"

I glanced over at the boy, already knowing she was talking about the storybook of Henry. He believes everyone in our hometown is from the book. I pretend to believe him since no one should take away his imagination. But I know one person that's trying to do that to him.

"I'm not sure if you're ready," replied Henry, "And there is something Marc isn't ready for either."

Emma raised her eyebrow at me. I know what she's thinking; she believes I believe in this nonsense. But I don't and I'm not going to say that out all. I shrugged my shoulders at the blonde-haired woman, "Trust the kiddo, blondie."

"I'm not ready for some fairy tales."

"They're not fairy tales. They're true. Every story in this book actually happened."

I admit, I'm getting a little irritated with Henry and that stupid fairy tales' book. Maybe the mayor is right; Henry is getting older; he doesn't need to believe in fairy tales anymore.

"Of course, they did," Emma and I sarcastically say.

We looked at each other with shock in our eyes. That was the second time we said something at the same time. I don't know how we do it, but I think we need to stop talking in unison.

"That's cool! You two should talk in unison all the time!" Henry exclaimed excitedly before calming down a bit, "Marc, you know it's true. Emma, use your superpower. See if I'm lying."

Emma looked at me, having me shrug my shoulders. That kid was trying to make Emma believe in something she doesn't. Hell, I don't believe any of this nonsense, but I play along with the child.

"Just because you believe something, doesn't make it true."

"That's exactly what makes it true. You should know more than anyone. Same with Marc."

"Why's that?" Emma and I questioned Henry in unison again.

"Because you guys are in this book."

I turned around quickly, looking at the mayor's son confused, "Kiddo, you told me that I wasn't in the book. Why are you saying that I'm in it now?"

Henry quickly shook his head, having my eyes drifted back towards Emma, who said, "Oh, you two have problems."

"Yep. And you're going to fix them," Henry said with a bit of excitement in his voice. I laughed under my breath, having Emma glare at me. I looked away from her with a smile still on my face. That kid is very funny.

/Enchanted Forest\

A guard was leading Snow White and Charming through a tunnel leading to the dungeon. They were being led to the cell that a man was being held in. This man was who Snow White wanted to question, but her husband was against it.

"When we reach the cell, stay out of the light. And whatever you do, do not let him know your name. If he knows your name, he will have power over you," the guard told Charming and Snow before turning to the cell, calling out, "Rumpelstiltskin. Rumpelstiltskin! I have a question for you."

"No, you don't. They do. Snow White and Prince Charming… You insult me. Step into the light and take off those ridiculous robes."

The couple lower their hoods, looking at Rumplestilskin in the eyes. Charming was standing next to Snow, very protective, trying to figure out if the Dark One was going to harm them or their unborn child.

"That's much better," grinned the Dark One, looking over Snow and Charming.

"We've come to ask you about the…" Charming started calmly, but was rudely cut off by Rumplestilskin, "Yes! Yes! I know why you're here! You want to know about the Queen's threat."

Snow straightened up and stepped forward, demanding him, "Tell us what you know."

"Ooh, tense, aren't we? Fear not! For I can ease your mind. But… It's going to cost you something in return."

Charming narrowed his eyes at the Dark One, snarling, "No! He's just a waste of time!" But it seemed like Snow either didn't agree with him or chose to not listen to her husband, "What do you want?"

With his grin still on his lips, Rumplestilskin leaned in and replied, "Oh… The name of your unborn child?"

"Absolutely not!"

Once again, Snow ignored her husband by saying quickly, "Deal! What do you know?"

"The Queen has created a powerful curse. And it's coming. Soon, you'll all be in a prison. Just like me, only worse. Your prison, all of our prisons, will be time. Time will stop, and we will be trapped. Someplace horrible, where everything we hold dear, everything we love, will be ripped from us while we suffer for all eternity. While the Queen celebrates, victorious at last. No more happy endings."

"What can we do?" Snow asked him, wanting to protect her husband and unborn child. She was trying to get an answer one way or another. Even if it was to give him the name of her unborn child.

"We can't do anything."

"Who can?"

"That little thing, growing inside your belly," replied the Dark ONe, gesturing to Snow White's pregnant belly. The prince slashes his hand away with a sword.

"Next time, I cut it off," Charming threatened.

"Tsk tsk. One out of two infants are our only hope. Get the child to safety. Get the child to safety and on its twenty-eighth birthday, the child will return. The child will find you and a final battle will begin."

"Two?" Snow asked, confused, "We are only having one child."

Charming heard what the Dark One said, but he doesn't want to hear anymore, having him say, "We heard enough. We're leaving."

The couple turned to leave, but Rumplestilskin shouted in anger, "Hey! No! We made a deal! I want her name! We had a deal! I need her name! I want her name!"

"Her? It's a boy."

"Yes, one is a boy, but our hope is the girl!" said Rumplestiltskin, before turning to Snow, "Missy… Missy… You know I'm right. Tell me, what's her name?"

"Emma. Her name is Emma," replied Snow.

"Emma…"

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

/Storybrooke\

Finally, home. I know papa has been worried about me since I left Storybrooke with Henry to go to Boston for Emma Swan. I hope he understands why I did this.

"Okay, kid. How about an address?" Emma asked Henry.

I could easily give it to her since I know the mayor's home, but I wanted to see if the kid would give Emma the address himself. Which I knew wasn't going to happen when he replied, "Forty-four Not Telling You Street."

Emma stops the car, getting out of the bug. I turned around in my seat, glaring at the little shit before following Blondie out of the car. Henry followed suit.

"Look, it's been a long night and it's almost… 8:15?" Emma questioned.

"That clock hasn't moved my whole life," I replied casually, leaning against her car before Henry said, "Time's frozen here."

I wouldn't go down that route, but it seemed like Henry was telling the truth. Besides Henry, I grew up in Storybrooke for twenty-eight years of my lifetime. Henry noticed I was the only one that was again even before Mary decided to give him that book. I noticed it too, but there has to be a logical explanation… right?

"Excuse me?"

"The Evil Queen did it with her curse. She sent everyone from the Enchanted Forest here."

I shook my head slightly, replying, "Kiddo, I understand why you believe that, but isn't that a bit over the top.

"Okay, the Evil Queen sent a bunch of fairy tale characters here," Emma agreed with me.

"Yeah, and now they're trapped," replied Henry quickly, trying to make Emma believe all of this.

I know. I know. I should be used to it since Henry got the book, but can you really be used to it? Not me when I'm a realistic kind of guy. But like I said, I don't want to hurt the kid's feelings for not believing him.

"Frozen in time, stuck in Storybrooke, Main. That's what you're going with?" Blondie asked, clearly not believing a word that's coming from the boy's mouth.

"It's true!"

Poor kid really needs to get his head out of the clouds and see this isn't a fairytale world; it's the real world. That's the only thing I agree with his mom about. But how would he when Mary encourages this with her students?

"Then why doesn't everybody just leave?"

"They can't. If they try, bad things happen."

Emma pointed at me, saying my name wrong, "Markus left."

"Blondie, my name is Marcellus, not Markus," I snapped angrily. At first, teachers also got my name wrong. The only one that didn't get it wrong was Mary. Now, Emma Swan – a stranger in my hometown – will get my name wrong. Great… Not!

"That's because he's just like you," Henry replied, having both Emma and I look at him confused. Now, I really want to know what's in his storybook he got from Mary if I'm just like Emma.

"Henry! Marcellus! What are you doing here? Is everything alright?" Archie asked with concern in his eyes and voice.

"Hello, Archie, I'm doing great," lying through my teeth. I want to go home (which is an apartment above Mary's apartment) and sleep til morning. I noticed the look Emma gave me, having me wave her off before looking back at Archie.

"I'm fine, Archie," replied Henry.

"Who's this?" Archie asked, looking over at Emma Swan.

"Just someone trying to give him a ride home," she replied.

"She's my mom, Archie."

I rolled my eyes, correcting the ten year old boy, "His birth mom. Someone that gave him up for adoption. Not his mom anymore."

"Oh. I see," Archie replied, getting it now after I told him. I did notice the looks Emma and Henry were giving me, but I didn't care because it was the truth… wasn't it?

"You know where he lives?"

"Yeah, sure. Just, ah, right up on Mifflin Street. The Mayor's house is the biggest one on the block."

"You're the Mayor's kid?"

"Uh, maybe."

I rolled my eyes once again (papa would not be happy about that), replying casually, "I would have told you that."

Emma once again glared at me with me grinning at her. She looked away from me, making me laugh silently at her. I don't know why, but it seemed fun to see her angry with me.

"Hey, where were you today, Henry? Because you missed your session," Archie told him, sounding concerned, "Same with you, Marcellus."

Something happened in my past that papa thought it would have been a good idea to talk through it with Archie. Even to this day, I still have nightmares about that day. That story would be another day.

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. I went on a field trip," Henry lied.

"Henry. What did I tell you about lying? Giving into one's dark side never accomplishes anything."

"Okay. Well, I really should be getting him home," Emma said. I think she was trying to get rid of Archie, which I don't blame her for.

"Yeah, sure. Well, listen. Um. Have a good night and, uh, you be good, Henry," said Archie before leaving with his dog. Once again, Henry and I were alone with Emma.

"So that's your guys' shrink."

"I'm not crazy," Henry and I said in unison.

Emma switched her eyes between Henry and me. Maybe because we spoke at the same time. It's not often, but sometimes Henry and I can say the same thing at the same time, which would creep Mary and the Mayor out.

"Didn't say that. Just, he doesn't seem 'cursed' to me. Maybe he's just trying to help you," said Emma before turning to me, "Why…"

"None of your business," I cut her off, glaring at her. No one needs to know what happened besides papa and Archie. Not even Mary knows about that. And I want it to stay that way.

"He's the one who needs help because he doesn't know," Henry said, getting back to the subject of the Curse Town. Thank you, kiddo.

"That he's a fairy tale character?"

"None of them do. They don't remember who they are," Henry replied.

"Convenient. Alright, I'll play. Who's he supposed to be?"

"Jiminy Cricket," I replied this time, having Emma glance at me confused, "What? Henry told me about the book and every fairy tale character in his book."

Emma nodded her head, "Right, the lying thing. Though your nose grew a little bit."

"He's not Pinocchio!" Henry exclaimed loudly, jumping to my side with his eyes on me. I know I shouldn't believe him, but is it wrong that a part of me does?

"Course you're not. Because that would be ridiculous."

/Enchanted Forest\

Everyone is gathered around a table at the castle. Prince Charming is leading the discussion, "I say we fight."

"Fighting is a bad idea," Jiminy Cricket said, trying to get Charming to see that, "giving into one's dark side never accomplishes anything."

Disagreeing, Charming said tightly, "Then how many wars has a clear conscience won? We need to take the Queen out before she can inflict her curse."

"Can we even trust Rumplestiltskin?" Doc the dwarf asked, worried to trust the Dark One. Everyone knows he can trick you into what he wants.

"I've sent my men into the forest. The animals are abuzz with the Queen's plan. This is going to happen unless we do something," replied Charming.

"There's no point," Snow White commented, knowing they might not win this time, "The future is written."

"No. I refuse to believe that. Good can't just lose."

"Maybe it can," replied Snow White, starting to lose hope for Good winning against the Queen.

Charming disagreed, "No. No, not as long as we have each other. If you believe him about the curse, then you must believe him about our daughter. She will be the savior and her brother will be by her side."

A noise is heard. Guards enter, dragging behind him a piece of tree. The blue Fairy also accompanies.

"What the hell is this?" Prince Charming questioned them, looking at the tree with confusion.

"Our only hope of saving the children."

"A tree?" Grumpy asked, not thinking trees can save the future princess and prince, "Our fate rests on a tree? Let's get back to the fighting thing."

"The tree is enchanted," Blue Fairy told him, "If fashioned into a vessel, it can ward off any curse. Geppetto, can you build such a thing?"

"Me and my boy, we can do it."

"This will work. We all must have faith. There is, however, a catch. The enchantment is, indeed, powerful, but all power has its limits. And this tree can protect only two."

/Storybrooke\

Great. I should have told Emma to let me walk home. But she didn't think it was a good idea. Anything is better than seeing the Mayor. I'm not afraid of Regina Mills. It's just she's protective of Henry. I understand since the boy is her son. Regina and I have this kind of relationship we understand each other, but we're not friends. Actually, I'm the only one she trusts to be around Henry. And I don't know why either. Maybe she believes Henry needs a male figure in his life. I have been in Henry's life since he first came into Storybrooke. Regina and I know for sure Henry sees me as a father-figure. And I believe Regina is thankful I am always there for her son.

"Please don't take me back there," Henry begged.

This wasn't the first time he begged to not go with his mom. I don't understand why he wants nothing to do with his mom. I do kind of blame Mary since Henry believes Regina was the Evil Queen from the book Mary gave him.

"She/I have to," Emma and I spoke in unison before she continued on, "I'm sure your parents are worried sick about you."

"He doesn't have parents," I told Emma, "Henry just has a mom that RAISED him for ten years."

She narrowed her eyes at me. I shrugged my shoulders, walking closer to Regina's home. I wasn't lying. Regina is Henry's mom, Emma wasn't. Yes, Emma is Henry's biological mother, but she gave Henry up. Legally, Emma has no right to the boy now and I silently prayed Regina will make Emma leave. Not I have nothing against Emma. I have a feeling that she will try to be in Henry's life now since he found her.

"She's evil," Henry said.

Strict? Yes. Protective? Yes. Evil? Hell, no. Where the hell did he get that idea? Oh, yeah. That stupid book Mary Maragaret gave him. I am going to talk to Mary about the damn book. Maybe I can "borrow" the book and give it to Regina.

"Evil?" Emma and I said in unison, "That's a bit extreme, isn't it?"

Okay. I gave Emma a side glance when we spoke in unison again. We have to stop that. I don't know how we do that. Sometimes Henry and I do speak in unison because we hang out all of the time. But I don't know why Emma and I are doing it. We are complete strangers.

"She is. She doesn't love me. She only pretends to."

"Henry Daniel!" I snapped angrily when Emma said, "Kid… I'm sure that's not true."

I chuckled darkly, "Of course, it's not true. His mom loves him. I don't know what got into him lately. I have seen Regina with Henry. That woman loves him. Henry, enough with his nonsense."

Emma was going to reply, but she was cut off by the front door of Regina's home opening. I watched as she rushed over to us in a panic, "Henry! Henry… Are you okay?! Where have you been?! What happened?!"

"I found my real mom!" Henry said quickly before racing into the house. I noticed Graham Humbert was standing close by. I raised my eyebrow at the man before glancing over at Emma and Regina. The look Regina was giving Emma would make anyone laugh, but not me. I felt pity for Regina since Henry's biological mother was here.

"Y-you're Henry's birth mother?"

"Hi…"

I stuffed my hands into my pockets, shifting on my feet. This was real awkward. Birth mother and adopted mother meeting each other. I know for sure my frenemy wasn't happy that Emma Swan was here, dropping Henry off.

I think Graham noticed the awkwardness since he said, "I'll just go…check on the lad. Make sure he's alright."

I tensed up, walking backwards, "Ah… I should get—" I stopped when Regina snapped her fingers at me with a small glare on her face before she turned back to Emma, "How would you like a glass of the best apple cider you've ever tasted?"

"Got anything stronger?" Emma asked.

Regina turned to me and I knew I had to follow her. I sighed softly, following Regina and Emma into the house. Emma and I sat down in the front room. It didn't take long before Regina returned with three glasses and poured cider into them.

I know papa always told me to not take anything from Regina, but I don't listen. Sometimes, she would allow me to drink here and we would talk. Like I said, we understand each other, but we're not friends.

"How did he find me?" Emma asked.

"No idea. When I adopted him, he was only three weeks old. Records were sealed. I was told the birth mother didn't want to have any contact."

"You were told right."

"And the father?"

"There was one."

"Do I or Marcellus need to be worried about him?"

Emma glanced at me when I was sipping on my cider, looking at me confused. I sighed softly, "I'm the only father-figure Henry has. Plus, I'm the only one that Regina trusts Henry with. Though Regina and I are not together, Henry is like a son to me and my dear old friend is completely fine with that. Like Regina asked: Do I or Regina need to be worried about him?"

"Nope He doesn't even know."

"Do I need to be worried about you, Miss Swan?" Regina asked in a tight tone.

I smirked behind my glass, knowing why Regina asked that. Hell, I think Regina will still feel worried about Emma since blondie is Henry's birth mother.

"Absolutely not."

I somehow doubt that. Again, there was something about Emma that I cannot place my finger on. I placed my glass on the coffee table right when Graham came down the stairs.

"Madam Mayor, you can relax. Other than being a tired little boy, Henry's fine."

"Thank you, Sheriff."

I stood up, following everyone to the front door, which Graham left through. My eyes drifted towards Emma and Regina. I know for sure Regina does not like Emma. It has to be because blondie was Henry's birth mom.

"I'm sorry he dragged you out of your life. I really don't know what's gotten into him," Regina said, sounding sympathy.

I stepped forward, commenting, "I agree with Regina. Henry isn't normally like this. And I think I know why. Something I need to talk to you, Regina, about later."

Regina looked at me confused before looking back at Emma when the woman said, "Kids having a rough time. It happens."

"You have to understand. Ever since I became the mayor, balancing things has been trickly. You have a job, I assume?"

"Uh, I keep busy, yeah."

"Imagine having another one on top of it. That's being a single mom. So I push for order. Am I strict? I suppose. But I do it for his own good. I want Henry to excel in life. I don't think that makes me evil, do you?"

"I'm sure he's just saying that because of the fairy tale thing."

And that's what I wanted to talk to Regina about. Maybe I can tell Regina more after Emma leaves. Regina was right; Henry needs to get his head out of the clouds. Tomorrow, I have to talk to Mary about that damn book she gave Henry.

"What fairy tale thing?" Regina asked, staring at me before glancing back at Emma.

"Oh, you know. His book. How he thinks everyone's a cartoon character from it. Like his shrink is Jiminy Cricket."

"I'm sorry. I really have no idea what you're talking about."

"You know what? It's none of my business. He's your kid. And I really should be heading back."

"Of course."

"Markus, do you want a ride?"

"Again. My name isn't Markus, Blondie. And no, I don't need a ride. I need to talk to Regina anyway. Bye," I waved, watching as Regina shut the door after Emma left.

She turned towards me with an irritated look on her face, "Tell me what happened."

"Well, I was walking Henry to school when he mentioned he found Emma Swan, his birth mom. At first, I thought he was talking about you, but he said no, it was Emma he was talking about. I knew he was going to go after her alone if I didn't go with him. I did try to get him to see that Emma Swan isn't his mom, but he wanted to meet him. So, I went with him. Sorry for not telling you, Regina. Just be glad that I went with him instead of him going alone."

Regina sighed heavily, "You are lucky I trust you, Marc. I admit I am glad you went with Henry. But I'm not pleased that he found his birth mom. I don't want her in his life."

"And you have every right to say that. She legally gave him up. Emma Swan might be Henry's biological mother, but she is not his mom, you are. You know I am on your side about this. I hope Emma leaves and never comes back to try to push herself into Henry's life."

"I don't like her, Marc. And I can tell you don't either. Was it because she called you Markus?" Regina smirked, leading us back into the front room.

Regina knew I hate how people get my name wrong. It's Marcellus, not Markus. I don't understand why people would say my name wrong. They don't even sound the same. Why do people say my name wrong all the time?

"Haha. That was so funny I almost forgot to laugh," I rolled my eyes, "Hey. Do you mind if I stay the night? I don't really want to speak with my papa. I have a feeling he is at my apartment now."

Regina's smirked turned into a real smile. She does have a nice side that no one, bare me, sees.

"Of course. I need another pair of eyes to keep an eye on my son."

Snow White was standing on the balcony, speaking with Charming, "I don't want to do this."

"It has to be you."

"I'm not leaving you."

Snow and Charming were arguing about Snow going through the three to be safe and have the babies somewhere safe. But Snow didn't want to leave her true love.

"It's the only way. You'll go in there, and you'll be safe from the curse," Charming said, trying to get Snow to see it through his eyes.

But Snow didn't haven't it.

"He said it would be on her twenty-eighth birthday."

"What's twenty eight years when you have eternal love? I have faith. You'll save me as I did you," Charming said, pulling Snow in for a kiss.

However, the kiss didn't last long. They pulled away when Charming noticed how distraught his true love looked.

"What is it?" Charming asked with concern in his voice.

"Babies… They're coming."

Outside the castle, Grumpy noticed something in the distance. He kicked Sleepy quickly, "Get up! Get up! Look!"

A dark smoke is seen in the distance. It rapidly covers the land and is progressing towards the castle. Grumpy frantically rings the bell, "The curse! It's here!"

/Storybrooke\

Here we go again. Searching for Henry. After Regina and I went to bed (in separate bedrooms), it seemed like Henry sneaked out of the house. Regina wasn't happy about it, and she didn't blame me, which was a good thing. I think I know why Henry is acting out, but I didn't want to say a word to Regina because she didn't believe her son was acting out. Maybe I could try to talk to him about why he is acting out. It's because he's adopted and found his birth mom.

"I don't understand what has gotten into him lately, Marc," Regina said, sounding a bit sad, "What have I done for him to react like this?"

"I know I'm friends with Mary, but I blame her for this," I admitted, turning my head towards Regina, "She gave him stories about damn fairy tales. And not the normal fairy tales stories. One where the Evil Queen from Snow White cast a curse on every fairy tale character and made them forget who they were. I don't know where she got the book, but I feel like this book was making Henry think you're the Evil Queen. I don't think you are. I think you are a mother that is trying to protect her son from getting hurt by his birth mother. And I have a feeling Emma Swan will hurt Henry if we don't keep your son away from this woman."

"Thank you, Marc," smiled Regina, "I still don't understand how you are Mr. Gold's son. He is very cold-hearted, but you have a pure-heart."

I laughed, shrugging my shoulders, "Maybe I take after my mama more than my papa."

"Maybe," I heard Regina mumble before asking me in a normal tone, "Do you know who your mother is, Marc?"

I sighed gently, looking out of the window. Twenty-eight years of my life, it's always been my papa and me. I remember asking him where my mama was, but he never answered me and I never know why. I think my mama passed away, that's why he doesn't talk about it.

"I don't know who my mother is, Gina. It's always been my papa and me. I do remember asking him, but he never tells me. I believe she's no longer with us. I stopped asking him about my mother when I was eighteen because I knew he was never going to give me an answer. Since yesterday, I'm twenty-eight. I think I should ask him more about my mother."

"Knowing your father, Marcellus, he might not want you to know your mother if she is nog a good woman," Regina said, pulling up to the station, "Let's get Graham to help us find Henry."

I agree, following her out of the vehicle and into the station. I glanced at Leroy once I passed him. He glared at me. We never got along. We actually got into physical fights in my teen years. Papa almost tried to force Leroy out of Storybrooke, which Regina stopped. Leroy isn't allowed near me unless we walk past each other, like now.

I shook my head at the man before following Regina into the station.

"Graham! Henry's run away again. We have to… What is she doing here? Do you know where he is?"

I looked over at the jail cell, noticing Emma hanging her arms out of the cell. Her eyes were on Regina when she replied, "Honey, I haven't seen him since I dropped him at your house with your friend. And, I have a pretty good alibi."

I stepped forward, standing next to Regina when I said a bit rude, "Yeah. Well, he wasn't in his room this morning."

Emma's eyes looked between Regina and me, and I knew why. She thought Regina and I were together. Uh, no. I knew her all of my life. I don't see her like that. This isn't the first time people think Regina and I were together. Yes, I spend time with Regina and her son, but we are not dating. Why is everyone saying we are when we're not?

"Not like that!" Regina and I snapped in unison.

It seemed like Regina noticed the look on Emma's face. God! I hope Emma leaves Storybrooke very soon. But I had a feeling that Emma might not leave, which wasn't going to be good for Regina.

"Did you try his friends?" Emma asked, not saying a word about what Regina and I said.

"He doesn't really have any. He's kind of a loner," Regina replied, making me look away with my arms crossed over my chest.

That's another reason why Henry and I get along, we are both loners. Yes, I have Mary as my friend, but for some odd reason, she tried to act like a mother-figure in my life. I didn't and would never see her as a mother. I even told her that, which I knew hurt her. But to me, I don't need a mother. I have my papa, but it's sad since I don't have many friends.

"Every kid has friends. Did you check his computer? If he's close to someone, he'd be emailing them," said Emma, like she did this before.

Regina and I shared a look before we both glanced back at Emma.

"And you know this how?" I asked her.

"Finding people is what I do. Here's an idea. How about you guys let me out and I'll help you find him," Emma suggested.

I glanced over at Regina, praying she doesn't. But at the same time, we need to find Henry for Regina. She glanced at me, which I shrugged my shoulders. Regina sighed heavily before agreeing to let Henry's birth mother out of the cell.

I have a bad feeling about this.

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

I was standing next to Regina and Graham while Emma was searching through Henry's computer.

"Smart kid — cleared his inbox. I'm smart too. A little hard disk recovery utility I like to use," said Emma.

"Of course, Henry's smart!" I snapped angrily, "He was raised by Regina, who is Henry's mom, who became the mayor of Storybrooke!"

I heard Regina chuckled before Graham said, cutting Emma off, "I'm a bit more old fashioned in my techniques. Pounding the pavement, knocking on doors, that sort of thing."

"You're on salary. I get paid for delivery. Pounding the pavement is not a luxury that I get. Huh. This receipt for a website – . It's expensive. He has a credit card?"

Regina and I glanced at each other, saying silently, are you serious? We looked back at Emma Swan before snapping in unison, "He's ten."

Emma glanced over at Regina and I with confusion on her face. And I knew it. It was because we were speaking in unison. Most of the time, Regina and I can speak in unison and people used to get spooked by that. Now, everyone (bar my papa) is used to it. Yes, Regina and I are not friends, however, I will never speak ill about Mayor Regina Mills.

"Anyway," I continued, "Where the hell would Henry get a damn credit card?"

"Well, he used one. Let's pull up a transaction record. Mary Margaret Blanchard… Who's Mary Margaret Blanchard?"

I groaned loudly, spinning away with my back towards everyone when Regina replied coldly, "Henry's teacher."

Yes, I'm friends with Mary Margaret Blanchard. But we are not very close friends. We would spend time together, but other than that, I barely see her around town. I'm mostly spending time with Henry or with my papa…. And sometimes with Regina.

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

I walked around the students with Regina while Emma was behind us. I looked around the class, remembering it when I was ten. It has not changed since I was in her classroom. I walked with Regina towards Mary Margaret Blanchard.

"Miss Mills. Marcellus. What are you doing here?"

"Where's my son?"

Mary Margaret looked confused, looking between Regina and me, "Henry, I assumed he was home sick with you."

"You think Regina would be here if he was?" I chuckled loudly, having Regina take over angrily, "Did you give your credit card so he can find her?"

Regina pointed at Emma, who was standing there quietly. I rolled my eyes at Emma when I turned back at Mary Margaret.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" Mary asked Emma.

"I'm his… I'm his…"

"The woman who gave him up for adoption," Regina cut her off.

"She has no reason to be here," I commented, narrowing my eyes at Emma. She glared back at me before turning to my friend, "You don't know anything about this, do you?"

"No, unfortunately not," replied Mary, looking through her wallet, "Clever boy… I should never have given him that book."

"What in the hell is this book I keep hearing about?" snapped Regina, side-glancing at me.

"Just some old stories I gave him. As you well know, Henry is a special boy. So smart, so creative, and as you might be aware, lonely. He needed it."

Okay. This was enough. I cannot continue on letting Henry believe everyone is a fairytale character.

"What he needs is a dose of reality," I snapped angrily.

"I agree with Marcellus. Henry does need a dose of reality. This is a waste of time," Regina agreed with me before turning to leave, "Have a nice trip back to Boston. Are you coming, Marcellus?"

I glanced at Mary, who was silently begging me to stay. I shook my head at my friend before following Regina out of the school. I followed Regina to her car, slipping into the car.

"I cannot stand that lady!" Regina yelled, slamming her hands on the steering wheel, "What does she think she's doing, trying to be there for MY son?! How can you be friends with that woman?!"

Mary Margaret Blanchard was always there for me since I was young and I enjoyed being friends with her. I thought of her as my best friend. But that changed when something happened in my past that made her try to take up the role of my mother. I didn't accept it and plain out told her she was not my mother and she needs to stop. For a few months, we didn't speak to each other. Skip today, Mary and I haven't been close since then. I keep busy at my papa's shop or spending time with Henry.

"I admit I'm thinking of ending my friendship with Mary, Regina. Mary's heart is always in a good place, but sometimes, that's not good. I prefer to spend time with you, Regina, than Mary."

I watched as Regina lifted her head up, glancing over at me with shock in her eyes, "You would rather spend time with me?"

I shrugged, laughing lightly, "Yeah. I don't see you as a friend, Gina. You're more like a sister to me. I will always be on your side, though papa would not be happy with me if he would say that."

A real smile formed on Regina's face, "Thank you, Marc. I don't know how you're Mr. Gold's son. You're nothing like that man. If Miss. Swan stays and tries to get my son, would you help me?"

"Of course!" I replied quickly, "Henry isn't Swan's son anymore. She was the one that gave him up. She was the one that gave him up. She has no legal right to him. You are Henry's mother. Henry should know this and stop trying to push you aside.

"Thank you, Marcellus. Are you going to help me search for Henry or do you want me to drop you off at your home?"

"I cannot go home, knowing Henry is missing again. Let's search for your son, Regina."

/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\

/Enchanted Forest\

In the tower, people could hear a female scream. This female, Snow White, was in labor.

"I can't have these babies now!" screamed Snow White.

"Do, do something," Prince Charming said to Doc before turning to Snow White, "It's going to be okay. The wardrobe is almost finished, just hold on."

Not too long, Geppetto enters the room that held Prince Charming and Snow White, saying, "It's ready."

Doc shook his head, saying quickly, "It's too late. We can't move her."

Snow White was holding her newborn daughter and son in her arms while her husband was looking down at them. Snow White kept her eyes on baby Emma and baby Louis (Lou-ee), thinking out loud, "The wardrobe… It only takes two."

"Then our plan failed. At least we're together."

Snow White glanced towards her husband, saying, "No. You have to take them. Take the babies to the wardrobe."

Prince Charming looked at her with shock, "Are you out of your mind?!"

"No, it's the only way. You have to save them," begged Snow White, hating the feeling that was building up in her chest.

"No, no, no. You don't know what you're saying."

Snow White knew what had to be done. Now, she needs her husband to see that this was the best opinion for their babies, "No. I do. We have to believe they'll come back for us. We have to give them the best chance."

Snow White placed a kiss on Emma's and Louis' head before handing her children to her husband, "Goodbye, Emma and Louis."

Prince Charming takes a sword near the door and enters the hallway. He fends off two of the Queen's guards, but is injured himself, and heads towards where the wardrobe is kept. He places his children inside and kisses their forehead.

"Find us."

Right when Prince Charming closed the door to the wardrobe, two more guards entered the room. One mortally wounded the prince and the other broke open the wardrobe, but discovered that it's empty and the babies were gone.

/Storybrooke\

"Regina!" I yelled, making her pause and slowly turn towards me, "Enough! We will find your son! I promise you we will find Henry. He cannot be far if Emma Swan is still here. I know Henry. I don't think he will pick the woman that gave him up over you — his mom. Graham told us he will call you when he finds Henry. Just stay calm."

Regina was going to say something, but she was cut off by my phone ringing. I pulled my phone out, answering it, "Hello, papa."

"Marc, I need to speak with you. You have not been home all day. Where are you?"

"I'm helping Mayor Mills look for Henry. He went missing again. Do you know where Henry is?"

"No, I don't. I do not see why you have to help the mayor searching for her ten year old son. I need to speak with you. Let's meet at your home."

I shook my head with my phone near my ear, "I'm not leaving Regina until Henry is home."

I hung up right when I heard a car yesterday. I placed my phone in my pocket when I glanced at Regina. We were both confused until we stepped outside. It was a yellow bug that belongs to Emma Swan. I don't want to deal with Emma. I, however, stepped outside with Regina.

I stood next to Regina when Henry walked past us into the house. I crossed my arms over my chest, narrowing my eyes at the blonde-haired woman.

"Thank you," Regina thanked Emma, who replied, "No problem."

"He's seemed to have taken quite a shine to you," I commented, having Regina nod her head, agreeing with me.

"You know what's kind of crazy? Yesterday was my birthday and when I blew out the candle on this cupcake I bought myself, I actually made a wish. That I didn't have to be alone on my birthday. And then, Henry showed up," Emma told us with a happy glaze in her eyes.

I quickly shook my head, not believing she had a right to be here or by Henry since she did give the kid up ten years ago.

"I hope there's no misunderstanding here."

"I'm sorry?"

I wanted to speak, but this was between Emma and Regina. I bit my lip from saying a word when Regina replied calmly, "Miss. Swan, you made a decision ten years ago. And in the last decade, while you've been… Well, who knows what you've been doing. I've changed every diaper. Soothed every fever. Endured every tantrum. You may have birth him, but he is my son."

"I was not."

"No!" snapped Regina angrily, "You don't get to speak. You don't get to do anything. You gave that right when you tossed him away. Do you know what a closed adoption is? It's what you asked for. You have no legal right to Henry and you're going to be held to that. So, I suggest you get in your car, and you leave this town. Because if you don't, I will destroy you if it is the last thing I do. Goodbye, Miss. Swan."

I let out a low whistler when Regina turned towards her home. But she stepped when Emma asked rudely (in my opinion), "Do you love him?"

"Excuse me?"

"Henry. Do you love him?"

I stared at Emma with wide eyes, not understanding why she would ask Regina that. Of course, Regina loves Henry. She does everything for her son. Emma Swan, a stranger to Storybrooke, believes Regina doesn't love Henry. She needs to leave our town.

"Of course I love him," snapped Regina before storming into her home. She slammed the door, having me turn towards Emma. She was standing there with her eyes on the house before glancing over to me.

I shook my head towards her, saying rudely, "You have no right to be here, Swan. I don't know what you are trying to accomplish here, but leave the Mills Family alone. You don't know Regina like I do. She loves Henry, and you being here is not a good thing. I regret going to Henry to see you. I should have tried harder to not allow him to see you since you don't belong in his life anymore. Like Gina said, get in your car, and you leave this town. Henry doesn't need a woman like you in his life. I would say it was nice meeting you, Swan, but I was taught to never lie."

I nodded towards her before walking away from the Mayor's home. I stuffed my hands into my pockets, thinking to myself. I do feel guilty since I could have easily said no to Henry and could have taken him to Regina about him wanting to see his birth mom. But I knew Henry wouldn't listen. I just hope Henry will see that Emma wasn't his mom anymore. I don't understand how Henry could do that to Regina. If I found out I'm adopted (which I'm not), I will never pick my biological parents over my papa. Maybe I should speak with Henry about not seeing Emma anymore — if he even listens to me.

It took me a bit to get home. And when I got home, I dug out my keys to unlock my door, but it was already unlocked. Without thinking, I slammed my door open to see a guy sitting on my couch with his feet on the coffee table and my ice cream in his hands. He has black hair and blue eyes. He was wearing dark clothing and his eyes were on the television before he looked at me when I slammed the door shut.

He stood up quickly, placing the ice cream on the table.

"Look, I didn't mean to break in or whatever… I was trying to…"

"Don't bother with excuses, I know why you were here," I said, crossing my arms over my chest.

"You do?" Travis Kroger asked me with a bit of confusion in his voice.

"Yes, you were here to ravish me, weren't you?" I purred, uncrossing my arms, walking slowly over towards Travis.

"Uh, you?"

"Why else would you be breaking into my apartment?" I asked, standing in front of Travis, "You could have asked to visit, you know? It's been a long time, but I have a very good memory."

"Yeah, well, uh, you know I figured you since you're Mr. Gold's son and all, it might be just easier to scale the walls and slip on it. Certainly easier than going through your daddy's little fucking spies."

I was going to reply, but I was cut off by a tap at the door. Travis and I looked at each other with wide eyes before I raced over to the door to reveal my papa — Mr. R. Gold. I opened my door wider, smirking at him, "Hello, papa."
