"Who's gonna tell us stories now?" Nigel asks.

"Um Maddie? Tell us about the mountains." Frank says as everyone looks at Maddie.

"No." Maddie says.

"Why not?" Frank asks.

"Because I'm done just talking about them. I say we go out and see them for ourselves. Break out of here tonight." Maddie says as the others look at her in shock.

"Are you nuts?" Migel asks as he freaks out.

"Maddie I have to agree. That's crazy. It's been a long time since we've been in the wild." Alexis says.

"Guys listen to me. I know it's scary but do you want to end up like Jackie? Spend your whole lives being put on display like freaks? Because that's what we are in here. Monsters. But out there we're someone's kid. Someone's brother or sister... family. Out there we can be... Ourselves. Zoe climb out and unlock our cases. Tonight we're going back to the outback." Maddie says as everyone nods.

*Timeskip*

"I think we're gonna make it." Maddie says as the group is headed for a wall.

"Don't say that! Every time someone says that something always-" Zoe then gets cut off by a banging noise and the group sees Pretty Boy making loud noises.

"Pretty Boy?" The group asks.

"Hi sorry. Do you mind not doing that?" Maddie asks.

"What?" Pretty Boy asks.

"We're trying to escape. Someone might hear you." Maddie says.

"Oh I'm sorry. I didn't realize. So you want me to stop doing this?" Pretty Boy asks as he makes even louder noise.

"Yes! Stop!" Alexis shouts.

"Please! We're just trying to get to the outback so we can find our families." Maddie says.

"Oh. Wow! That is so inspiring. Families are very important to me too. You're a snake! You're not gonna get five yards. And anyway what kind of family is gonna want a bunch of ugly bugs like you?" Pretty Boy asks as he laughs.

"You are truly cold hearted." Alexis says as she growls annoyedly at Pretty Boy.

"You're right. I should do it like this. Over here Mr. Policeman!" Pretty Boy shouts before Maddie climbs up the tree and grabs him as Nigel stings him knocking him out.

"Nice job Nigel. Least that'll keep him quiet for a bit." Alexis says before Nigel falls off the wall and goes flying and lands on the other side.

"We'll have to get him out of here. Count of three. One, two, three!" Maddie says as the group gets over to the other side of the wall.

"Oh we're free! We're free! I feel so liberated so virile." Frank shouts.

"But we're not safe yet. Hurry." Maddie says as the group heads toward the ocean and sees mountains in the distance.

"It's Jackie's mountains!" Nigel says.

"Beautiful but I think that's the city." Alexis says as clouds clear revealing city lights.

"But we're on our way. And somewhere beyond those lights is the outback." Maddie says.

"Only one problem. Only I can swim and I can't swim that far without getting tired and I don't see any place to rest out there between here and that city. But maybe we can find something to cross on that will float." Alexis says.

"What do we do with Satan's teddy bear?" Zoe asks as the group looks at a sleeping Pretty Boy.

"Ugh we have to take him with us or he'll sound the alarm again. We can let him go when we get to the city. Come on." Maddie says as the group begins looking for objects to use.

"Do you think you could've found a raft that wasn't full of holes?" Zoe asks as the group is floating on a makeshift raft.

"Guys, guys don't argue. Look at us. We're on our way. And check out the sky. I've never seen the sky at night before." Maddie says as the group looks up at the stars.

"What are all those twinkly dots?" Nigel asks.

"I think they're called dandruff." Frank says.

"Actually no. They're stars. my mom told me when I was still with her. We used to watch them all the time until... Well until I lost her and my pack." Alexis says as she looks down sadly as Maddie looks at her.

"That's right. You're without a pack Alexis. I forgot about that... What are you gonna do when we get to the outback?" Maddie asks.

"Look for a new pack to accept me I guess but they never will." Alexis says as she sighs.

"You don't know that. Just gotta keep your head up high." Maddie says as she smiles at Alexis causing her to blush.

"Thanks Maddie. Hey is that a-" Alexis then gets cut off by the group as she and the others see an object headed towards them.

"Shark!" The group shouts in alarm as the group realizes the object is a shark as it circles them before Pretty Boy wakes up and freaks out once seeing the shark.

"Oh sorry to scare you. I get that reaction a lot. It's the smile isn't it? You know I took some acting classes did a few mime workshops. But it's just not me you know? So I thought hey stop trying to change who you are. Just be yourself. The face of death aka Jacinta. Hey! Aren't you that snake who can kill 100 people in ten seconds?" The female shark asks as she looks at the group.

"Oh. No not really. It's... it's more like 94, 95 tops. But you've probably eaten a lot more people than that right? Sorry. I don't know why I said that. That was so inappropriate." Maddie says nervously.

"Nah sounds about right. Did you guys just escape from the park?" Jacinta asks.

"Yeah! How'd you know?" Maddie asks.

"We get a lot of breakouts. Last month it was a dung beetle." Jacinta says.

"Duncan? I thought he got released back into the wild." Frank says.

"The only place he got released was into the belly of a seagull. Tragic. The one night I was off sick." Jacinta says.

"Ugh! Could you be any more self-obsessed? Can everyone please focus on me for once? Razor face take me back to the park or I'll have your fins made into soup." Pretty Boy says.

"Razor face?" Jacinta asks annoyedly.

"No he didn't mean that. And we're not going back to the park. We're on our way to the outback." Maddie says as Alexis covers Pretty Boy's mouth with her paw.

"What's the password?" Maddie asks.

"Hey. I'm ugly. You're ugly. We should all be this ugly. Ugly is the new beautiful." Jacinta says.

"That's a really long password." Alexis says.

"Yeah um I hate to rush. I think we're sinking." Frank says.

"Oh right! On it! Let's get you guys to the other side before the sun comes up. That's when the really scary creatures come out. Humans!" Jacinta says as she begins helping the group to shore.
