"These caves will take you under the mountains. Once you get to the outback the Uglies Secret Society will take care of you." Dave says as the group goes through a cave with a bunch of bats and continues to receive help from various animals.
*Timeskip*
"Isn't the universe amazing?" Nigel asks as the group is later looking up at the stars.
"It makes me feel so small and insignificant." Frank says.
"We are small and insignificant." Zoe says.
"it's simply beautiful and a wonder itself." Alexis says as Maddie smiles at her causing her to smile back.
"It makes me wonder if I'm a god. Seriously doesn't that cluster look like me?" Pretty Boy asks.
"It makes me miss Jackie. She would've loved seeing all this." Maddie says.
"Can you sing us the song Maddie? I think it would help all of us get to sleep." Alexis says as Maddie nods and sings her song causing everyone but Maddie and Pretty Boy to fall asleep before the two eventually join the group in sleeping.
*Timeskip*
"Maddie?" Alexis asks as she later wakes up and sees Maddie is awake.
"Oh Alexis. I didn't know you were awake." Maddie says shyly.
"Same to you. How come you aren't sleeping?" Alexis asks as she yawns.
"I'm just anxious. Do you think it's all we dreamed it to be?" Maddie asks as she looks at Alexis.
"Well I know it makes you happy that we're doing this I know that. Am I happy that I'm looking for a new pack after this? No. But I'm happy I'm with you." Alexis says as she smiles at Maddie.
"Really?" Maddie asks curiously as Alexis nods.
"Of course. You're the only one who's never judged me for my powers. That's the whole reason I got brought to the zoo anyway. My stupid powers." Alexis says as she paws at the ground making some stones appear with flowers on them.
"They're not stupid Alexis. I think they're amazing." Maddie says as Alexis blushes and smiles.
"I think you're amazing Maddie." Alexis says as Maddie blushes.
"Really?" Maddie asks.
"Really. Now come on. We should get some sleep." Alexis says as Maddie comes over and lays on her back as the two fall asleep.

"So what's the first thing everyone's gonna do when we get there?" Maddie asks as the group is walking and talking about their plans.
"What about you? What are you gonna do?" Alexis asks as she looks at Pretty Boy.
"I dunno really. This is the first time in my life I haven't been in the spotlight. I just wanna have some authentic conversations, do a bit of yoga, maybe some meditation. Just really shed the veneer of superficiality of fame and beauty and... Pretty people!" Pretty Boy says as he and the others see a group of koalas in a tree.
"Right. I guess you wanna walk... wait, or sprint over there. Wait! Wait! PB! Isn't there something you're forgetting?" Maddie asks as Pretty Boy looks at her.
"Oh my gosh! I'm such a fool." Pretty Boy says as he uses the others to clean himself up before heading towards the tree.
"So that's it? You're leaving? Fine! Good riddance!" Maddie says angrily.
"Come on Maddie. We gotta go." Alexis says as the group gets moving.
*Timeskip*
"Almost there. I can feel it. I can smell it. It smells like... home. Everyone look! It's the mountains Jackie told us about!" Maddie says as everyone reaches a hill and sees a beautiful sight.
"What are we waiting for?" Alexis asks happily as the group runs toward the mountains.
"Look! A welcoming committee." Nigel says.
"They look just like us." Maddie says.
"Everyone except me but that's alright. I'm keeping my head up." Alexis says as Maddie smiles at her.
"Do you think they know we're from the city?" Maddie asks.
"I love what you've done to the place. The colors are so organic and textural." Nigel says.
"They do now. Ugh. Nice one Nigel. You scared away the welcoming committee." Zoe says.
"I don't think that was Nigel." Alexis says as she perks her ears up and uses her sand abilities to move enough sand to put her ear to the ground and listen before giving an alarmed look as the group sees humans headed toward them causing everyone to hide.
"Where's Maddie?" Frank asks as the group doesn't see Maddie.
"Maddie?" Alexis and the others ask before they get captured and thrown in cages in the back of a vehicle before Maddie gets placed in a cage next to them.
"This time there's no one to save you. Let's go!" Chaz shouts as the vehicle begins moving.
"At least we tried right?" Nigel asks before Chazzie pushes the cages and only manages to free Maddie.
"Maddie!" Alexis shouts as the vehicle drives away from Maddie.
