"I... I want you to make love to me tonight." Kagome said softly, blushing.
Inuyasha, still hovering over her, caressed her cheek with his hand, his eyes locked in her gaze.
"Are you sure...? I can still wait, you know."
Heart pounding in her chest, she kissed him softly. "Yes... I missed you so much and now I need you, all of you..."
The hanyo smiled softly. She could see his desire in his eyes before he closed them to kiss her once more, this time passionately, hungry. The Miko slid her arms around his neck, playing with the beads of his necklace. She then slipped a hand in his hair, holding the back of his head as she deepened the kiss. They were both panting as their tongues moved together in an infinite danse.
Inuyasha broke the kiss and with one hand, he untied her obi and slowly guided her off of her sode-kukuri, caressing her shoulders and arms as he did. He discarded the piece of clothing, her chest now bare.
"You're so beautiful." he said, his eyes trailing on her stomach and chest. She blushed under his undivided attention.

They did so, and after kissing her goodbye, they got on their way to the village. The were running in silence, but after a few kilometers, Miroku spoke.
"Inuyasha? We need to talk."
"What?"
"Sango told me that Kagome told her you both didn't... consummate your marriage yet. Is something wrong? You know how it works, right?"
The hanyo stopped abruptly in the middle of the road.
"You think I'm stupid or what? Of course I know how it works you dumb monk!"
"Okay, okay no need to get mad. I just wanted to make sure everything is alright, you know?"
"None of your business." the hanyo retorted.
"Hey it's an important matter. A happy marriage includes a happy sex life." he winked.
"Keh! I'd let you know we took care of that last night."
"Ooooh congratulations, you're a grown man now." Miroku teased.
"Oi, I'm at least a century older than you, you prick!" shouted the hanyo, resuming his run, followed by his laughing friend.
While Inuyasha and Miroku were out, Kagome decided to visit Sango before going back to her place to do her household chores.
She saw her friend gardening outside with her little ones running around after some insects.
"Sango-chan!" she called.
"Oh Kagome! I was about done with the garden."
"I can help you clean an prepare your vegetables if you want." the Miko suggested.
"Thank you! You're always willing to help! I should do the same for you sometimes."
"Nonsense. You have 3 kids, I have none. I have more spare time."
Kagome took the basket where Sango had put what she harvested.
"You're sure? With your training and your Miko's duties, your days are pretty full..." said the young mother.
"I'm alright don't worry."
Sango called her twins and they headed back to the hut. She put Hisui to bed for his afternoon nap.
The women were preparing the vegetables while discussing.
"By the way Kagome, I'm sorry... I might have told Miroku that you and Inuyasha haven't been intimate yet and... He decided that it was his duty to educate your husband? Whatever that means."
Kagome blushed. "He might not have to educate him at all..."
"What do you mean?" Sango asked.
"Well... We kind of... already did it?" the Miko mumbled.
Sango stopped chopping the roots she was preparing.
"Wait. Yesterday you told me you didn't."
"It was true... when I saw you yesterday." she blushed even more.
"Oh. Oh! You did it last night??" the young mother exclaimed.
"And this morning..." Kagome couldn't stop the smile spreading on her lips.
"I'm happy for you two! I hope everything went well."
"Yeah, very well actually..."
They both giggled and Sango hugged her.
Soon after, the Miko said goodbye to her friend and headed back home with a portion of freshly cut vegetables.
