Different Love

*

Is it so wrong to love?

For every man there is a woman,

But what if a man replaces the woman for the man?

Or a woman replaces the man for the woman?

Two beings, molded together.

They fit, it's logical, the man is dominate, the woman is recessive.

It is how society works; the woman bores a child for the man.

The man and woman fit, perfect pieces in a puzzle.

Opposites attract. We know this from science.

But there are some rare cases.

There's sin, darkness in the world.

The world is corrupted, what is one more sin?

For a man to love another man, as he's suppose to love a woman.

Is this really wrong?

For every man there is a woman,

But some men replace the woman with their own kind.

A man and man. It's not opposite. It's not right.

Society tells us that a man marries a woman and they live happily ever after.

Society is changing. People are changing their views.

Is it really wrong for a man to love a man?

We're said to love everyone, yet we're being limited in our choices.

There are different definitions of love:

Love between a child and a parent,

Love between a teacher and his student,

Love between two friends,

Love between man and God,

And love between man and woman.

Funny how there's no special love for man to man.

There is the friend opinion, but it's a different case for some men.

Not exactly friends, but a bit more to that.

But what exactly is their love?

Is it a false feeling, an overenthusiastic friendship?

Man is not supposed to feel this, it's meant for a woman.

But what if he *does* feel it and is confused.

Will his walk with God be corrupted?

God forgives, but the man doesn't want to stop.

The man is to try to stop, pray about it, and try to be normal.

The perfect child for God.

But the man sees no wrong in his feelings.

Isn't love the purest type of feeling?

Is it wrong to limit his intimate love because it's said to be wrong?

For every man there is a woman.

But what if the man doesn't want the woman?

Author's note: I've been asking my discipleship teacher why homosexuality is so wrong. A couple of verses mention that it *is* wrong, no doubt about that, but why? Why is it wrong? If a man truly loves another man, how is that wrong? Some people say that it isn't real love, but simply for man's lustful pleasure. I don't believe that; that's not always the case.

I see how society mocks homosexuality, and it hurts. But what hurts most is how Christians view it. I'm a Christian, but every Christian I know say that it's a sin, and I know it's a sin, because it's in the Bible. But it's hard for me to give up my belief. I'm purely heterosexual, but I feel sorry for all the homosexuals out there, those who are scorned because of their feelings. People say it's wrong, but why? Why is it so wrong?

Okay, for one thing, man is supposed to replenish the earth and make a lot of babies. This can only be done with a woman. But aren't there so many orphans out there? Shouldn't we worry more about them then trying to populate the world with more?

Basically, the baby reason is the only excuse I have on why homosexuality is wrong. I really don't see another reason.

You readers may have some, so inform me. What do you think about homosexuality? (and mention why!)
