Okay, so the last chapter was kind of crappy, I know, but I wanted to put that in there because I felt like it. So, here is the fourth chapter of "The Other Team." I hope you enjoy it! Disclaimer: I do not own BeyBlade, only this plot and the new beyblades.

As everyone got on the bus, Kit jumped to an open window in the very back of the bus and jumped inside, taking a seat in the back, away from everyone else and staying in the shadows. When Rei looked over, he saw a sword hilt propped against her shoulder.

"Don't tell me we have to deal with two angry, unsociable people," Tyson groaned.

"No, you don't. Just give Kit a little bit of time to cool down. She's very hard to anger, but if you want to do so, the best way is to insult her skills or call her a coward, or something along those lines, which happens to be exactly what Kai did," Sakura explained, taking a seat next to Sora for the trip.

Kai was watching Kit for the first part of the trip. She made no move to attack again, but she sent everyone on the bus the occasional glare, seeming to favor him. Kai sighed softly and turned back to the side to watch the scenery going by in flashes.

Kit was angry. At Kai and at her lack of self control. 'I knew I shouldn't have attacked him, but he hit a soft spot.' Kit snorted out loud. 'Mother would say I was being weak, with all this pity and lack of self-control. I wonder how she's doing? I failed to tell them that my real mother wasn't killed. The person that died was my mother-in-law. My real mother is off in America, flirting with all the guys over there, most likely. There she was saying that I had weaknesses, and she was the one flirting with every cute, in her words, unmarried guy in the state! She really goes over the limits of my patience at times, and my expectations of her.'

At around noon, they stopped for lunch and everyone was inside the place they were eating at in a few minutes. Well, almost everyone, that is. Kai and Kit were both back in the van, but Rei saw Kai get out to go for a walk. Kit, apparently, was still in there.

"Hey, Kit," Rei called softly as he opened the door to the van, stepping inside as he looked in the back for her form.

"Looking for me, Rei?" a cool voice said from beside him. Rei jumped, and the person laughed softly. "What did you need?"

"I was wondering if you were going to have lunch, because we're not stopping until dinner and a hotel come into sight. You might get hungry," Rei said, looking at Kit.

"I'll be fine. Trust me. I can live with just dinner. I was stretching since we're going to be cooped up on that for another couple of hours, at least," Kit said, looking at Rei.

Rei nodded and went back inside, where he found that Sakura had gotten into the sugar and she and Max were bouncing off the walls. He sighed and hoped that they would get it out of their system before they had to go back on the bus.

After lunch, everyone went back on the bus-thing, including Kai, who had shown up almost immediately after lunch was over.

After about three minutes, Sakura decided that she was bored and wanted to sing a song. So........

"This is the song that never ends. Yes, it goes on and on, my friends! Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was. And they'll continue singing it forever just because this is the song that never ends. Yes, it goes on and on, my friends! Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was. And they'll continue singing it forever just because this is the song that never ends. Yes, it goes on and on, my friends! Some people started singing it, not knowing what it was. And they'll continue singing it forever just because this is the song that never—Ouch!!! Who threw that?!?!" Sakura asked as she was interrupted in her singing by a rock being thrown at her head.

"I did. If you don't like it, then you can say hello to Mr. Floor," Kit growled from the back of the bus. "That was the only thing I could think of to get you to stop that horrible racket before you gave me an even worse head-ache!"

Sakura nodded and sat in silence for a few moments before challenging Max and Tyson to a game of "Go Fish." Kit sighed and sat back in her seat next to Rei.

Sora and Kelly were in a heated argument about who was cuter: Archie Goodwin, from "Nero Wolfe", or Legolas from the "Lord of the Rings." (A/N: I do not own LOTR or Nero Wolfe, but both are great!)

Meanwhile, Kenny was typing away at his laptop and Kai was sitting in silence, taking all of the noise and occurrences into stride.

Rei and Kit talked about nothing in particular until they touched upon the subject of families.

"Well, Rei, you know about my family. What about yours?" Kit asked as she watched Rei fidget slightly in his seat.

"My family is all back in China. I visit them occasionally, but not very often," Rei said in a tone that clearly stated he didn't like the way the subject was going.

"What about your old teammates, the White Tigers?" Kit asked.

"We're still friends," Rei said and left it at that.

At that precise moment, Sakura stood up and yelled, "I WIN!!! BEAT THAT, KIT!!"

Kit sighed and shook her head. "Okay, how did you get sugar this time?"

"From Max," came the not-so-innocent, yet innocent sounding reply.

"Max, please don't give her any more sugar. She's starting to give me a major head-ache, and unless you want some trouble, I think it would be best not to make it any worse. Isn't that right, Sora?" Kit asked, her eyes glinting evilly.

Sora nodded and chose that moment to bonk Sakura over the head. Hard. With a 1,028 page book.

Sakura immediately shut up and went back to playing quietly with Tyson and Max.

~ Later that night...~

When they arrives at the hotel, they separated into groups for the rooms. Max, Tyson, and Kenny shared one, Kai and Rei shared one, Sakura and Kit shared one, and Kelly and Sora shared one.

The next morning, Kit was woken by something sitting on her stomach. She opened her eyes to see Yoko on her chest, staring at her, then looking at the clock. It was 5 in the morning.

"Thanks, Yoko," Kit said as she got up. She dressed silently and slipped a katana onto her belt. It had a blue sheath with her name in black letters on it. It also had a blue handle. Kit went outside and started training, dancing around in a forest that was so conveniently near the hotel. She moved gracefully, swinging and dodging in a deadly dance.

Rei had woken up early and happened to go outside just as Kit disappeared into the trees. So, being the curious cat he was, he followed her and watched as she practiced. He was amazed by her, but didn't show it a lot. He just stood there and watched her.

When Kit finished, she looked over at Rei and into his eyes. Something in her spooked away, but she only managed to half-clamp down on the instinct to run. As Rei stepped closer, instinct took over rationality and she darted through the forest until she was about 100 yards away. She then changed her course and went back to the hotel. She was frightened by those eyes. Eyes so much like HIS eyes.....
