They ran over to untie the girls when........the girls fell!
"No!!" Rei and Kai yelled, running over to the pot as fast as possible. They looked inside and saw the two figures dissolving.
"What?" Rei said, confused.
"I see. They didn't use the girls, Rei. They made clay copies of them and made them seem real from a distance, hoping we would fall for the trick," Kai said, clenching his fists.
"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.....D***!" Rei yelled, slamming his fist into the wall. It made a dent.
"You have passed the three tests," a voice said from above them. "I am impressed. Now, for the real finale!"
The person jumped down to reveal black hair that stuck up, a black cloak, a gray shirt, and loose black pants. He also had a white bandana and a white scarf. It was Raizen.
"Who are you??" Rei and Kai demanded.
"I am Raizen, the person who intends to get the power that the two girls who you have fallen in love with hold," Raizen said, motioning to a case made out of glass that had been revealed. There, Kit and Sakura were bound and gagged.
"Rmmmm!" Kit yelled. (Translation: "Rei!")
"Krmm! Gtt rts o er!" Sakura yelled, trying to free herself. (Translation: "Kai! Get out of here!")
"What did you do to them and what do you mean, the power that they hold?" Kai asked, looking at Sakura.
"I did nothing but get them here. As for the power.....Well, they have an incredible amount of power that can be used to lift things with your mind, blow people more than fifty yards, things like that. I want that power, and the only way to get it is to KILL them!" Raizen yelled, raising a knife in a way that said he was going to stab them.
"NOOOO!!!" Rei yelled, launching himself across the floor. He rammed into Raizen, throwing him off balance and making him miss Kit by three feet.
"Hey, wait a second, Rei! I can't let you have ALL the fun!" Kai yelled, rushing into the fray as well.
For about fifteen minutes, the three of them were a big pile of dust, arms, and legs. Finally, Rei and Kai stood up, a little bruised, but it was nothing major. Raizen, on the other hand, was bleeding in several place, had a black eye, and had swirly eyes. (@.@)
Rei and Kai rushed over to Kit and Sakura, untied them, and helped them up. Unexpectedly, Kit and Sakura latched themselves onto Rei and Kai, hugging them tightly.
"Thank you, Rei!! I owe you so much!" Kit said, almost crying into Rei's shirt.
"Me too, Kai," Sakura said, burying her face in Kai's chest.
Rei smiled and started stroking Kit's hair while Kai hugged Sakura back. (O__O Just CAN'T see that!)
"Ahem." Rei, Kit, Sakura, and Kai all whirled around to see Tyson, Max, Kenny, Sora, and Kelly standing there, grinning like maniacs. "Did we interrupt something?"
"NO! Erm.. nothing at all, Sora!" Kit said, her eyes daring someone to say otherwise.
"Riiiiigghhhttt." Kelly rolled her eyes, but didn't say anything else. It was better for her health.
Kit's eyes gleamed and she pulled a katana out of it's sheath. Everyone backed away nervously.
"Alright, how about this. I don't attack you and get us out of here and you never mention this to anyone else, kay?" Kit said, looking over her shoulder at them as she faced the wall. Everyone hurriedly nodded. "Alright, then. Let's test this out, shall we?"
Kit attacked the wall, slicing strait through it. She stepped out and looked at the moon, which had come out during the time Rei and the others had taken to get to her. As she looked at the moon, she felt a new power inside of her; one that she had not felt before.
'Is this the power that Raizen was talking about? Might as well check,' Kit thought as she focused on lifting a small bush next to her. It floated off the ground and was about level with her head. 'I guess so.'
Sakura was also discovering her powers. She, however, was making Max float off the ground a little bit and he was thoroughly enjoying this. She soon added Tyson and Sora, then Kelly. Sakura grinned as heard her friend's startled scream as she felt her feet leave the ground.
"Time to go back, guys," Kit said as she started walking away.
"It would help if WE COULD WALK!!!" Sora yelled, floating in mid-air. Kit turned around, grinned, and told Sakura, mentally, to let them come down to earth. Sakura let them and all nine of them set off to go back to the hotel.
~*~ Meanwhile ~*~
"I WILL gain their power for myself! I will also gain their hearts in the process!" a mysterious figure said confidently to himself before disappearing.
