Kit gasped when she saw who the person was. It was.........
"Shuichi! What are you doing here?!" Kit asked, looking rather nervous.
"Don't you know who the person who asked to meet you here tonight?" Shuichi asked, looking amused.
Kit shook her head. "I didn't think that YOU of all people would ask to meet me here, Shuichi."
Shuichi shook his head in a little sympathy. "You do not know me well, Kit. We can change that, I think." He moved towards her and Kit backed away to match his step. Shuichi frowned. "Are you afraid of me, Kit?"
Kit glared at him and growled slightly. "I am not afraid of anyone! I can still fight, you know!" Kit drew her sword and brandished it at him.
Shuichi laughed and took another step forward. Kit matched him every time. "If you are not afraid of me, then why are you backing up?" Shuichi asked cleverly, making Kit growl again.
She stopped moving back as he moved forward, then found herself pinned against the wall with her sword on the ground next to her. She looked at her wrists to find that vines had her against the wall.
"You see, Kitsune, I have something like the power you have. Mine has control over most plants, whereas you have the ability to talk to people mentally, move things without touching them, and that sort of thing. Your powers are much greater than your friends, I am afraid to say. So, you have two choices: Either join me and live, with your powers intact, or stay for these people, that person you think you like, and I will drain you of your powers right now," Shuichi said, smirking as Kit gave a small cry.
"Do I have to chose?" Kit asked, looking strait into Shuichi's eyes. They softened momentarily.
"No. I can chose for you, if you want," Shuichi said, moving towards her. He stood right in front of her and pressed his lips against hers, rather hesitantly at first, then pressing harder and slipping has arms around her waist.
Kit tried to struggle and get away, but it was to no use. She accidentally hit her head on the wall and little lights burst in front of her eyes. She still tried to get away and failed. Shuichi had her captured in his arms.
At that moment, Rei came down the stairs to see what was up. He looked around the room and saw Kit kissing another guy, Shuichi, if he recalled the name correctly. His eyes widened and he saw Kit's eyes go wide as well. Then, he heard a voice in his head.
'Rei! Please, Rei, this isn't what it looks like! I swear! This guy has me pinned against the wall and I can't move! Please help me Rei!' Kit's voice said in his head. Rei nodded to her and walked up behind Shuichi, grabbing his collar and shoving him off Kit. He picked Kit up, sheathed her sword, and started to walk up the stairs, Kit almost asleep in his arms.
"Where are you going, Rei?!" Shuichi asked angrily.
"Putting MY girlfriend to bed so she can rest. We have to leave tomorrow," Rei said, not even turning around to look at Shuichi.
"I don't think so, kitty-boy!" Shuichi yelled, some vines rapping around Rei's ankles. Kit jumped out of his arms and cut them, pushing Rei up the stairs.
"Go! This is my fight!" Kit said, glaring at Shuichi. "Go get Kai and Sakura. I will need her help and Kai can help you."
Rei nodded and set off up the stairs, hearing the sound of Kit's sword being sheathed as she prepared to use one of her best moves. Rei ran up the stairs and into his room, waking Kai quickly and telling him to get Sakura.
The three of them ran back down the stairs to find that Kit and Shuichi were battling with objects that they had conjured.
"Give up, Kit! It is your fate to come with me!" Shuichi yelled, trying not to harm Kit, but get her in his clutches once again.
"No way in h*ll, fox-boy! I'm not falling for that trick again!" Kit yelled as she dodged one of the many vines that threatened to hit her and capture her.
"Kit!" Sakura yelled.
"Sak, listen. I need you to lift the guy off the ground and make his weapons, the vines, stop moving for me or I'll never win!" Kit said, looking over at Sakura momentarily.
Sakura nodded and did as she was told. Shuichi found himself 30 feet in the air and also found that he couldn't move.
"What is the meaning of this, Kitsune?!?!" He yelled, angry and slightly frightened.
"Actually, I'm not the one doing that. But, the purpose was to render you harmless to me so that I could defeat you!" Kit yelled, doing her ultimate attack and knocking Shuichi unconscious. He land on the ground with a soft thump and his plants stopped moving.
"Thanks for telling me sooner, Kitsune Rose Yoko!" Sakura said sarcastically.
Kit winced. "Listen, Sak......I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to get involved in this, but I also didn't know who it was that had invited me. I'm sorry," Kit said, looking away, ashamed.
Rei stepped up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. She shivered slightly and he hugged her tightly.
Kai did the same for Sakura and whispered, "Give Kit a break. She didn't know who it was and probably didn't think that she would have had any trouble if she had needed to defend herself. Let's go back to bed, alright? We have to leave in the morning."
Sakura nodded and followed Kai up the stairs. Rei started to lead Kit up the stairs, too. She followed him without any problems and didn't look at anything; just the ground. Rei finally lifted up her chin and looked her in the eye.
"What's on your mind?" He asked. When she didn't respond, he said, "You can tell me. It's not like I'm going to tell anyone else, okay?"
Kit nodded and looked into his eyes. "I just thought that you must think that I'm not a good friend. I allowed myself to be kissed by another guy and now you must be disgusted." She turned away, a small tear leaking out of her eye.
Rei hugged her tightly. "I do not think that. You weren't able to get away from him and you couldn't do anything about that."
Kit nodded and they separated. Kit went to her room while Rei went to his. They both fell asleep and woke up about 5 hours later, tired and rather grumpy, but more than ready to go home.
