Kit. Okay, I know that the last chapter was mainly on Rei and Kit, so this
one will mainly be Sakura and Kai! Happy?
~*~ Chapter 11: Kai and Sakura have a secret meeting ~*~
After everyone got up, Sakura asked Kai if she could see him alone. Kai agreed and they both walked over to the bus and sat in the shade it provided.
"Kai, what do you think of me and Kit?" Sakura asked, looking away. At Kai's silence, she said, "Well, more specifically, our powers?"
Kai looked at her. "Well, I think that they could help you or hinder you. For instance, lots of people probably want that power, so people will be coming after you two constantly. On the other hand, you and Kit can use your powers to hinder them. You could also have a lot of fun making people float around or scaring the heck out of them," Kai finished, smiling a little bit.
Sakura smiled as well. "What do you think of me?"
"Well, I think you are an awful, hateful, hard-to-get girl," Kai teased. Sakura snorted. "Alright. I think that you are a very pretty, charming young lady......that gets sugar-high too easily. You would be a great fighter if you learn to harness your powers and use that to your advantage. You also seem like the type of person to do that," Kai said, chuckling slightly at Sakura's stunned face.
"Is that really what you think of me, Kai?" Sakura asked, looking at him. Kai nodded. "Then I'm sure you won't mind if I do this...." Sakura trailed off, leaning in to kiss Kai. He wrapped his arms around her waist and deepened the kiss. Sakura moved slightly, getting used to the feeling of his arms around her.
Soon, they both broke away, panting slightly. Sakura just sat in Kai's arms, enjoying being with him. Kai sat there with his arms around Sakura, not wanting to let go, but knowing that he would have to if he didn't want to be teased for all eternity.
When the rest of the gang came, Kit caught a glimpse of Kai and Sakura sitting in silence and sent Sakura the mental message that everyone was coming and they might want to separate. They did so, blushing very slightly. Sora and Kelly smirked slightly when they found the two standing by the bus, their cheeks stained with a small blush.
"So, have you two lovebirds kissed yet?" Sora taunted them as she passed. Kelly laughed slightly and they both got hit in the head by Kit, who smiled at the pair.
"I don't like being teased about being with Rei, so I figured that you wouldn't either," Kit said with a wink at the pairs looks. They nodded and Rei followed Kit in the bus.
"How's life with sourpuss (Kai), Sakura?" Tyson asked. The next thing anyone knew, Tyson was on the ground with two lumps on his head.
"Shut up, Tyson. As a matter of fact, I really don't mind life now," Sakura said, stepping ON Tyson to get on the bus. Kai smirked and followed her example. Poor Tyson.
Max and Kenny helped Tyson up, then looked in the back where Kai and Sakura were sitting side-by-side. Rei and Kit were also back there, but a little closer to the front than Kai and Sakura. They both smiled and sat with Sora and Kelly.
Sakura leaned her head on Kai's shoulder, enjoying this rare moment of peace. Kai kissed her forehead softly and settled his head on top of hers. They sat there like that until they stopped for lunch.
Kit and Rei walked with all the others to get food, but stopped for a moment. Kit turned around, winked, and said, "Enjoy your time alone, lovebirds."
Sakura threw her beyblade at Kit's head, but Kit grinned, ducked, and picked it up. She then smiled, rather apologetically, and left with Rei.
Sakura calmed down and the two left, ordering some food and sitting outside. Kai climbed on top of the bus, handing his food to Sakura, then took the food. Sakura handed him her food and followed him up there.
They just sat there for the remainder of the time for lunch, occasionally giving each other a small kiss or something, but staying silent.
After they stopped that night at a hotel, Kai and Kit switched rooms. So, Kit and Rei shared a room, and Kai and Sakura shared a room.
"Goodnight, Kai," Sakura said just as she was about to fall asleep.
"Night, Sakura," Kai said, giving Sakura one last kiss on the forehead before he, too, drifted off to sleep.
In the morning, everyone was downstairs by the time Sakura got down.
"HEY! Why didn't anyone wake me up?!" Sakura yelled, getting everyone's attention.
"Well, Kai kept me out of your room and he, apparently, didn't have the heart to wake you up himself!" Kit said, laughing. Rei was snickering slightly as well and Kai and Sakura both went red.
"Kai has a girlfriend! Kai has a girlfriend!" Max, Tyson, Sora, and Kelly chanted, grinning evilly. Three seconds later, all four of them were on the floor with lumps on their heads. Kai had gotten his teammates, and Sakura had gotten hers.
Kenny, Rei, and Kit all sighed and sweatdropped. Kit shook her head in a way that said "When will they ever learn?" Rei smiled slightly and picked Kit up, causing her to blush and yelp.
Kai and Sakura grinned as Rei carried Kit out to the bus. They followed soon after and found that Rei had pinned Kit to the seat in which they were sitting.
"What are you doing to Kit?" Sakura asked.
"Seeing how long I can keep her here," Rei answered simply.
"Why?" Came the predictable question from Kai and Sakura.
"Because she's hiding something from me and I'm not letting her go anywhere until she gives up and tells me," Rei said, grinning slightly.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! NEVER GIVE UP!! NEVER SURRENDER!!" Kit yelled, struggling against Rei's grasp.
Sakura burst out laughing and Kai chuckled quietly. They both moved to the back of the bus and kissed one last time before everyone got on and they were on their way home again.
