And so the two teenagers stood.
They were stood outside titan tower, the two of them. Their names were Beat and Planetos. They wanted to seek refuge and get advice from the teen titans. Beat had had superhuman strength, from an experiment taken place in his early childhood, but a side effect of this was that he could not properly control it. And he also has the strange flashbacks. His companion, Planetos was the chosen one from human kind. He was chosen to have the gravity controlling powers. He was supposed to use the powers to help people but instead, he accidently smashed the moon into two pieces. Neither could control his powers. Thats why they were in titan tower.
"Shall I knock?" Beat asked nervously. Planetos nodded in response. He was, Beat thought, quite mysterious. He never let on his feelings, but at the same time, Beat knew he cared about other people.
Beat knocked slowly on the door. He waited for a minute. Then, a boy dressed in red with a black mask and a yellow cape opened the door. It was Robin.
"Hello?" Robin asked. "What can I do for you?"
"Me and my... friend Planetos were looking for the teen titans." Beat said, and wondered if Planetos would object to Beat calling him his 'friend'. Planetos said nothing.
"Well you found them!" said Robin, "What brings you here?"
"We need help controlling our powers." said Beat. He wondered if Planetos felt ok with Beat talking for him, but he wasn't doing any talking for himself, so Beat had no choice.
"Come in." said Robin "You can stay in the tower while you're here training with us."
"Thank you." said Planetos. He spoke for the first time, and his words were short and cold, as though he didn't want to talk. It was true, he didn't.
Planetos and Beat followed Robin through the door, through a corridor and into an elevator. Then through another corridor, and into a large room. Here stood the famous teen titans. Cyborg, large and half robot, standing there. But contary to his largeness and scary machinary, he looked friendly. Then there was beast boy, green all over and smiling. Then there was Starfire, who spoke to them.
"Greetings newcomers! I hope you are being happy to be here!" she said. Beast boy grinned at starfire's bad grammar.
"She's new to earth, don't mind her!" Beast boy laughed. Behind him, starfire was angry, "but she's cool anyway." starfire was no longer angry. "so, why are ya here dudes?"
"We're here to train" said Beat. "We can't control our powers."
"And who's your friend?" Beast boy asked.
"He's planetos." replied Beat.
"Can't he speak for himself?" asked Beast boy. Cyborg coughed in warning.
"He prefers not to." explained Beat.
"Sounds like Raven." replied Beast boy. He pointed to a girl in the corner. She was meditating. Unlike the rest, she didn't look happy She wasn't smiling. Upon hearing her name, she opened one of her eyes and looked at Beat and Planetos breifly, then she went back to meditating.
"I'll show you to your rooms" said Robin. Beat nodded. They followed him up an elevator and into a corridor which contained the whole teams' rooms and many more. Robin led them both to seperate rooms.
"Thank you." said Planetos.
