Okay – I really am inspired by Stargate SG1's episode Chimera. I don't know why, cause I don't like it that much (or lets say, I don't like that Pete-guy – Sam&Jack 4 eva *g*). Well, I just wrote this..and..now...read it if you want.
And it's late! So sorry for the typos..... Why am I still up???

Just another morning
Grissom sat in a café near his flat, like almost every morning and sipped his coffee. The night shift was over. He had solved another case and was about going home now. The door opend and a women walked in. She went to the waitress to get a cup of coffee. Gil looked at her for a moment but then back at his journal.
A few moments later the woman came over to his table and said, "Hi"
"Morning" he looked back at her for a second.
"Do you mind if I sit down?" she asked.
"What if I say yes?"
She gave him a smile and sat down opposite him.
"I take this as an 'I don't mind, if you don't want to' "
She smiled at him again. "What are you reading?"
"Something interesting."
"Oh. Okay." She looked at the titel "You like bugs?"
"Yes" He said without looking at her.
She sipped her coffee and looked at him. "What's the colour of your eyes?"
He had to hide his smile when he shook his head. "You have to learn how to start a conversation."
She sipped at her coffee "Hmm. So, how are you?"
"A bit tired."
"Oh."
"Yeah."
"You have to go to work?"
"No."
"Oh."
He wondered, how long she'll get on with this.
"So why are you up already?"
"I worked last night."
"Ah, okay. So why aren't you in bed? You said, you're tired."
"I'm reading."
"I can see that." She grinned "Do you have a girlfriend?"
"Why?"
"Because you're cute, and I want to know."
"Yes."
"Uh. How long?"
"A while."
"Is she nice?"
He didn't say anything.
"She's not nice?"
"Oh please, of course she's nice, more than that."
"Nice to hear that."
He was waiting for her next question, but she finished her coffee first.
"Can I get your number?" She asked with a smile.
He put down his journal, smiled and shook his head. "That was a bad one! Really!"
She looked at him in confusion.
He finished his coffee and paid for both of them. "You know my number."
"And I know the colour of your eyes."
He smiled at her in silence and she grinned back at him. Then he stood up, took her hand and pulled her up, so she stood close to him. She gave him a kiss and slipped her hands around his neck.
"You're going to bed now?" She asked him.
"Yes."
"Can I go too?"
"Sure."
"Sweet." She hugged him and closed her eyes.
"Come on Cath, lets go home." He slipped an arm around her back and they left.
