Freshly slain
There she lie,
At my feet,
A bloody slab,
A piece of meat.
Her blood a perfume,
Her flesh a shell,
For killing her,
Ill reign in hell.
Her hair a mess,
Appendages scattered,
The peoples shock,
Left me flattered.
Like a bloody sponge,
I soaked in glory,
My other kills?
A different story.
It was nothing,
But the clench of a fist,
It was simple,
To slit her wrist.
I wanted to have,
More time to play,
For the fear struck crowd,
Had nothing to say.
What had I done?
Ill let you know,
I felt like putting
On a show.
I laughed at their faces,
Of grief and pain,
For a beautiful girl,
Had been freshly slain.
