SUMMARY: Third Season AU. What happens when you switch the Captain of the seaQuest from Oliver Hudson to Robert Bridger? This Story! Westphalen, Krieg, and others return to round out the crew when the seaQuest returns in 2032.

AUTHOR'S NOTES: When I first posted this I never expected the incredible response that it recieved. I decided to revisit it this time around as my writing style and skills have improved over the years since I first posted it. I felt that to do my friends in the fandom justice then they deserved no less than my best, even if it meant taking this down and re-posting. I also noticed that in the changes done on that the formatting had become a bit screwed up... so I fixed that too so it should be easier to read now. Yes, I will be re-visiting the others. I don't promise any continuations as I think the end of Magni Nominis Umbra finished the series on, okay a sad note, but also a high note. AN July 2020: I just reread this after over ten years of publishing it and I'm cringing. I know plenty of you enjoyed this story, and its sequels, but I may be updating this to better reflect just how far my writing has come. Or, I might leave it so it can be a milestone in my skills. Haven't decided yet. That being said, please don't use the writing in this and other stories from a similar time period as a litmus test on my writing now. - KLC - July 2020
AN February 2021: I have started working on a complete and total rewrite of this that not only better reflects how far my writing skills have come (and you all deserve my best, really, I have enjoyed more than one sQ fan fic in my time and I thank you all for those hours of enjoyment!) but also to better explain how I feel the second season went down. I won't spoil it though. I have decided to take this down when I start posting the Redux, but I will archive this as a complete e-pub. You will be able to find the link to the g-drive to download both versions and compare them if you wish.
