:::laughing like a maniac:::
Kurama: what's wrong with her?
Kagome: she's laughing at her reviews
Inuyasha: stupid reviewers
Hiei: one of those girls wanted to pair me up with you! hell no
Kagome: well that was very nice of you
:::still laughing::: ok ok I got the reviews and so far here are the results
Yus/Kag: 2 Inu/Kag: 1
Inuyasha: that's not funny
I agree the funny part is my friends reaction
Kurama: she was... upset
ha try furious at the idea of a Yus/Kag story
Inuyasha: I say we go with your friend on this
well of course you want to side with her
Kagome: wait wouldn't that make it 2 votes for Inu/Kag if your friend is so against a Yus/Kag
yeah but she hasn't reviewed yet so I'm not counting it yet, still really funny though
Hiei: you were laughing for 30 minutes
yeah I know oh and to Xinh no Kouga isn't going to end up liking Sam, first he's way to obsessed with Kag and second it would be too many people liking her
Kurama: you already have the two of us digging her
Hiei: I can't believe you're gonna make a sad ending for me
I'm sorry! if it makes you feel better I still don't know how it's going to end
Hiei: doesn't help
ah well so here's the next chappie hope you enjoy, excuse me while I go laugh some more
Hiei rolled his eyes before turning to Sam, "are those three ever going to stop?"
Sam shrugged, "they've been at it for a while."
Kagome sighed, "that's it I know how to stop Inuyasha at least. Sit boy!" The spirit detectives were surprised to see Inuyasha slam to the ground, true they had been warned but it was still surprising to see.
Inuyasha growled, "damn it wench, what was that about?"
Kagome frowned, "you three need to stop arguing."
Yoko chuckled, "how very pathetic puppy."
Sam scowled, "I may not be able to do that, but I can still punish you for arguing more then needed."
Yoko thought about that for a second, "I love you?"
Sam smirked, "that can only get you so far."
Kouga growled, "I still don't know who you people are."
Yusuke stood up from where he was sitting, "we're here to kick a demons butt and that's all you need to know."
Kuwabara frowned, "we could be nice to the guy."
Sam stretched, "we could or we could get a move on, I'm tired of standing around."
Yoko smiled, "I apologize koi, I should have remembered we have a mission."
Sam waved his worry away with a flick of her wrist, "oh it's ok, just don't do it again."
Sango sighed, "we've lost a good portion of the day."
Miroku nodded, "we won't get very far today."
Sam scowled, "ugh you three this is your fault." Yoko gave her a pathetic look while the other two looked like they could care less. Sam was mad however, she did not like the idea of being stuck in the feudal era.
Yoko took her hand, "please don't be mad."
Hiei smirked, happy to see her mad at him without falling for his little tricks, "maybe you should have though about that before you argued the day away."
Yoko shot him a dirty look, "they are annoying."
Sam frowned, "you didn't have to argue non stop, you were almost as bad as Hiei is being with Inuyasha."
Hiei scowled, "I'm not that bad!"
Kouga looked at the group and thought about it for a second, "you can stay at my cave if you wish."
Kagome smiled, "that's very kind of you Kouga."
"But we're not staying in your stupid cave," Inuyasha interrupted.
Miroku hit Inuyasha on the head with his staff, "we would love to take you up on that offer Kouga, and we do need a place to stay."
Sango nodded, "but maybe we should walk around a little more."
Sam nodded, "yeah we don't want to go rest when we haven't found anything yet."
Yoko nodded, "let's get a move on while we still can."
Sam pressed her lips together, "right, still mad at you." Yoko only sighed and walked next to her. Hiei walked behind them, relieved that Sam didn't talk about whatever had happened that morning yet at the same time worried about why she hadn't said anything.
Yusuke caught up to Hiei, "hey what's wrong with you man?"
Hiei scowled, "there is nothing wrong."
Yusuke raised an eyebrow, "yeah right you're being an even bigger grouch then normal, so what on earth is bugging you?"
Sam turned her head, "leave him alone if he doesn't want to talk about it then you shouldn't make him."
Hiei bit his lip, "listen to your sister."
Yusuke frowned, "dude there's obviously nothing wrong so why don't you tell me?"
Hiei scowled, "it is none of your concern detective."
Yusuke sighed, "but I want to help."
Hiei walked slightly faster, "then I suggest you drop it."
Miroku got Yusuke's attention, "maybe you should drop it."
Yusuke frowned, "but what could be wrong?"
Sango giggled, "you mean you haven't figured it out?"
Yusuke raised an eyebrow, "figured what out?"
Miroku smiled, "he has feelings towards your sister."
Yusuke laughed, "yeah right."
Kagome put a hand on his shoulder and smiled, "you haven't noticed?"
Yusuke frowned, "noticed what?"
Kagome smile grew wider, "the way he looks at her."
Yusuke looked at Hiei, "how does he look at her?"
Sango sighed, this guy could be really thick, "he looks at her in almost the same way that Kurama looks at her, he's got the same look in his eyes."
Kagome nodded, "and he's always watching her like last night, the whole time he was up in that tree he was also looking down to see how she was."
Yusuke let out a low whistle, "my sis really knows how to pick 'em."
Kagome shrugged, "well I highly doubt it's her fault."
Yusuke nodded, "I know, but... are you sure?"
Miroku nodded, "trust us, the thing most likely wrong with him right now is the idea that he can't be with her."
Kagome sighed, "kind of sad when you think about it."
Sango looked thoughtful, "my guess is that she has no idea how he feels."
Yusuke shrugged, "I see nothing wrong with that."
Kagome gave him a small smack, "that's not nice!"
Yusuke rubbed his arm, "hey! All I'm saying is that it's better my sister not know. Look I know my sister and if she knew someone felt bad about anything she had to do with, even something like this, she'd feel bad."
Sango frowned, "she can't help how someone else feels about her."
Yusuke shrugged, "my sister doesn't like making people sad, it makes her feel bad. That's why she's such a good miko, the idea of a demon hurting someone infuriates the hell out of her."
Sango smiled, "well that's good, so it's safe to say she would feel bad to know Hiei cared for her but felt bad he couldn't have her."
Kagome cocked her head to the side, "poor guy."
Hiei paused in front of them and turned around, "if you four insist on talking about me and my feelings I suggest doing it out of ear shot."
Yusuke stopped for a second, "do you really have feelings toward my sister?"
Hiei turned right back around, "like I said before it is none of your concern."
Yusuke scowled, "well if it's about my sister then it is my concern."
Kagome stopped Yusuke, "give him a break, it's not like he could do anything."
Miroku nodded, "he can't go after her, so he has to keep his feelings locked, it may be best to just leave him be and allow him to handle this on his own."
Yusuke sighed, "I guess so."
Sango nodded, "trust us that's what's best."
"Hey what are you four chit chatting about back there?" Inuyasha shouted from ahead.
Kagome shot him an innocent look, "nothing, just about how hard finding the jewel has been."
Inuyasha looked at her suspiciously, "feh doubt that."
Sam turned and narrowed her eyes, "what were you talking about?"
Yusuke grinned, "aw nothing sis just turn around and walk."
Sam gave him a look, "oh you're gonna tell me one way or another."
Miroku chuckled, "she's threatening."
Yusuke flinched, "hey she can scare even the toughest of demons I wouldn't put anything past her."
Kagome giggled, "someone scared of their sister?"
Yusuke nodded, "hell yeah! You haven't seen her really mad yet."
Miroku smiled, "I'm guessing you have."
Sango tried not to laugh, "my guess is more times then he can count."
Yusuke rubbed his head, "I got the permanent lump to prove it."
Ahead of them Hiei sighed in relief as the conversation went towards a different subject besides him and Sam. He looked ahead and watched Yoko try to sweet talk his way into holding Sam's hand. Hiei smirked, knowing that was the best the fox could ask for at the moment. He watched the simple movement Sam gave as she walked and frowned, now he was torturing himself, he needed to stop.
"You ok Hiei?" Sam asked turning around.
Yoko turned to him, "you seem upset about something."
Hiei shook his head, "no I'm fine I swear.
Sam gave him another concerned look, "you sure?" Hiei only nodded. Behind them Kagome froze.
Yusuke was the first to notice, "hey you ok?"
Kagome nodded, "there's a shard coming this way, only one though."
Inuyasha rushed over to her, "where?"
Kagome pointed to the woods behind Sam and Yoko, "there." The couple turned around only to meet with a demon, and not a very appealing one either. It looked like a deformed squirrel.
Sam drew her katana and in one swoop sliced him in half. She picked up the jewel from the ground and handed it to Kagome, "this yours?"
Kagome nodded and stared at Sam, "um yeah how did you?"
Sam smiled, "I've been doing this a lot longer then you have."
Kagome blinked, "wow that's impressive."
Sam shrugged, "not really now let's go." She turned and was followed by the spirit detective. The Inu group stared in shock for a sec before collecting themselves and following. There was a possibility they had underestimated their new friends.
Ok I know that took a while but I was busy
Kurama: you mean you had writers block
Same difference
Kagome: isn't that an oxymoron?
Inuyasha: how is an ox a moron?
Hiei: you are an idiot you know that?
Inuyasha: am not
Have to agree that you are
Inuyasha: meanies
Aw poor Inuyasha
Kurama: it's his own fault for being an idiot
Good point
Kagome: wasn't there something you wanted to tell your readers?
Oh yeah I almost forgot! About the voting thing I'll keep it up until a chapter comes up where I have to make a decision, you'll see and then it'll get good
Kagome: I wonder who I'll be with
Inuyasha: better be with me
From the results so far I doubt it dog-boy
Hiei: looks like she'll probably be with Yusuke
Kurama: personally I don't see it but the audience does
Would you quit whining anyway whenever I get hit with inspiration I'll write another chappie until then ciao and review please because nice people review and it makes me happy
Kurama: like anybody cares
I will hurt you one of these days I swear
Kurama: what's wrong with her?
