Good it was supposed to right well this chapter has some Yus/Kag hinted at and well some told straight out. While they're not yet together in this chap, it's leaning that way

Kagome: so I'll be with Yusuke?

Inuyasha: where's that spirit detective so I can slice him into pieces!!!

Kagome: Inuyasha, sit boy!

Inuyasha::: from ground::: what the hell? Why'd you do that wench?

Yusuke collapsed when they reached Kouga's cave. He yawned and snuggled into the furs that Kouga gave him. "Ah sleep wonderful amazing sleep," he mumbled sleepily.

Sam smacked him, "wait for us to go to sleep idiot."

Yusuke half turned, "I'm tired!"

Yoko smirked, "all we did was walk and get one shard you can't be that tired."

Yusuke scowled, "well I am now let me sleep."

Kouga raised an eyebrow at him, "aren't you hungry?"

Yusuke stood up, "food!!!"

Sam laughed, "oh my god you are such an idiot."

Kuwabara shook his head, "figures Urameshi would only get up for food."

Inuyasha scowled at the corner, "like we need the wolf's help."

Kagome sighed, "well it's nice of him to offer, and we could use the shelter."

Kouga grabbed Kagome, "anything to make you happy."

Kagome blushed, "um thanks Kouga."

Yusuke looked over and scowled, "geez that guy needs to put a sock in it."

Sam shrugged, "I think it's kind of cute, what are you jealous baby bro."

Yusuke scoffed, "no! why would I be?"

Sam giggled, "ok you keep telling yourself that." Yusuke only scowled crossing his arms and pouting.

Hiei rolled his eyes on the side, "you are so obvious detective."

Yusuke only scowled more, "am not."

Miroku tapped Sam's shoulder, "um I wanted to tell you that you may want to pass on the whole food thing."

Sam gave him a confused look, "why?"

Sango sighed from the side, "because Kouga has yet to realize that humans need their meat cooked." Sam visibly turned green at the comment.

Miroku nodded, "yes I know."

Yoko licked his lips, "haven't had a meal like that for a long time." Sam paled at the comment and looked at Yoko in disbelief.

Hiei smirked, "well he is a fox miko what did you expect?"

Sam shifted, "not that, that's for sure."

Yoko smiled, "I promise not to eat in front of you." Sam turned green again.

Yusuke laughed, "wow you turned green twice in less then five minutes, that's impressive."

Sam scowled, "oh shut up Yusuke."

Yusuke smiled, "hey it's fun to tease you every now and then."

Sam shot him a dirty look then turned to the others, "I think we should figure out exactly what we know about Shizu before we go any further."

Hiei nodded, "yes that way we are prepared for whatever he throws at us." The Spirit Detectives sat in a circle, much to Inuyasha's annoyance.

Yoko's ears twitched as he began, "so what do we already know about him?"

Kuwabara was the first to speak, "he wants the jewel."

Sam nodded, "the shikon, and he's not very fast or tough."

Hiei snorted, "he's full of himself."

Sam smiled, "yes he is, but he had a right to be. He did manage to catch me off guard."

Yusuke frowned, "because you underestimated him."

Yoko almost growled, "we all underestimated him."

Sam rolled her eyes, "so do we know his powers?"

"What the hell are you doing?" Inuyasha interrupted clearly annoyed, "knowing that useless crap doesn't help defeat an opponent, strength does."

Yoko sighed, "what a moron..."

Sam shot Yoko a silencing look, "do you guys wish to join us? I mean that way you guys know what we know."

Sango smiled, "thank you Sam. Now what were you saying?" She sat next to Sam and Miroku sat next to her. Kagome sat next to Yusuke letting her knee slightly touch his. Sam noticed and only gave a small smile.

Hiei cleared his throat, "he can manipulate his yoki into balls of energy."

Sam raised an eyebrow, "how did you know that?"

Hiei smirked, "you might want to try reading the case folder thoroughly next time."

Sam blushed, "right so what else?"

Kuwabara looked thoughtful, "his ki isn't very strong."

Yoko sighed, "we got that."

Kuwabara shook his head, "what I mean is it's almost as low as a normal humans."

Sam frowned, "that's definitely not normal, or right."

Yusuke narrowed his eyes, "you sure about that Kuwabara?"

Kuwabara nodded, "I'm positive."

Sango pressed her lips together, "then how did you get caught off guard by him?"

Sam flustered, "well I don't know! I was kind of making fun of the guy."

"That's why you got pushed down the well," Yusuke teased. She shot him a dirty look, it wasn't like she wanted to be caught off guard.

Miroku's hand inched to Sango's rear as he began, "isn't it possible he was hiding his true strength from you?"

Yusuke nodded, "yeah I mean you didn't know Toguro's true strength till the day before we fought them."

Kuwabara shook his head, "no I'm sure this guy is weak."

Hiei hesitated, "as much as I hate to agree with the moron, he's right. There's no way this guy would know to hide his strength that well."

"HENTAI!" Sango screamed slapping Miroku as hard as possible. The group looked over to now see an unconscious Miroku laying on the floor. Sam couldn't help but giggle at the monk before returning her attention to the problem at hand.

Yoko frowned, "so if this guy isn't strong how does he hope to get the shard."

Sam thought for a sec, "Kagome the shikon jewel makes demons much stronger with only one shard right?"

Kagome nodded, "yeah they don't even need the whole jewel."

Hiei frowned, "makes it way too easy to gain power, who knows how many demons are after it at this moment."

Sam nodded thoughtfully, "he has to be using some kind of help, that's the only thing that makes sense."

Yusuke yawned and unconsciously put his hand over Kagome's, "I say we just go find the guy and beat the living daylights out of him."

Sam rolled her eyes, "we don't even know where he is Yusuke we have to wait till he comes to us."

Yusuke scowled, "this is gonna be boring isn't it?"

Kouga looked over at Yusuke and growled, "I suggest taking your hand off my mate's."

Yusuke shot him a confused look, "who's your mate?"

Sam sighed, "I believe he means Kagome."

Yusuke scoffed, "I don't think I heard her say she wanted to be your mate, I would think that kind of decision is hers to make."

Kagome sighed, "he has a point Kouga and besides it's not like he meant to." She pulled her hand back slightly from his and blushed.

"Right... I uh well um," Yusuke stuttered trying to hide his own red face.

Sam shot Yoko a look that clearly said, 'those two are so cute.' Yoko only nodded and stretched himself out. "I suggest we get some rest and look for Shizu in the morning," he said pulling Sam down with him.

Hiei scowled, "I doubt we're going to find him very easily."

Sam smiled at him, "think positive thoughts Hiei or else we really might not, always think the best is going to happen in a situation even if it might not be the case."

Yusuke rolled his eyes, "my sis, the permanent optimist."

"Watch it Yusuke," she said, "the only thing to throw at you is rocks." Yusuke stuck his tongue out at her and grabbed furs to sleep in.

Kuwabara yawned, "man you two are worse then me and my sister."

Sam rolled her eyes then grabbed Kagome's wrist, "hey can I talk to you?"

Kagome nodded, "yeah what about?"

Sam smiled, "you kind of like my brother don't you?"

Kagome blushed, "well maybe a little. I don't think he likes me though..."

Sam snickered, "yeah and hell is one big ice palace, I know my brother."

Kagome interrupted, "but with Kouga he-"

Sam smiled, "he stood up for you, look I think he likes you and I think he wants to give you a chance to make these decisions on your own, he doesn't want to push it."

Kagome sighed, "everyone else does."

Sam shrugged, "so I noticed, you like Inuyasha too?"

Kagome fidgeted, "I did, not sure anymore, I'm getting tired of a lot of things."

Sam nodded, "get what you're saying, there's only so much a person can take."

Kagome frowned, "but at the same time he can be so sweet sometimes."

Sam laughed, "I think you need to sleep on it come on before Yoko throws a fit."

Kagome nodded, "thanks."

Sam shrugged, "no biggie." Kagome followed Sam a couple of steps before freezing. Sam turned, "hey what's wrong?"

Kagome shuddered, "I feel some jewel shards, at least 8 or so."

Sam nodded, "I'll get the others."

Kagome shook her head, "no if it's Naraku..."

Sam looked at her carefully, "if it is this guy you four are so scared of we'll help if not we're in the clear."

Kagome hesitated before nodding, "all right."

Sam smiled, "good I'll get the others." She turned and jogged back in, hoped it wasn't this Naraku guy, from what she figured the guy was tough as nails.

So that was chapter 6, kind of uneventful

Kagome: so who are we going to fight?

I'm not telling!

Kurama: would you really put in Naraku?

Maybe, haven't decided yet.

Hiei: you mean you don't know what you're next chapter is!

Inuyasha: you really are a ditz

Hey! I know what my next chapter is but I'm not telling you.

Kurama: yeah right

You know you guys are mean.

Kagome: can't you guys show her some support?

Hiei: no we're trying to stop the torture

That's it I'm going to stop giving you food!

Kurama: that isn't funny coming from you

Hiei: you really would cut off our food supply
