It was a brisk summer day in kalm as tifa, and the gang, were at tifa's newly built bar, since the old one was destroyed. Everybody, even Vincent, moved to kalm so they could keep in touch. Cloud was having a drink when he thought "I'm bored "so he got the gang together and went on a hunt. Later that day after nightfall the gang went to the bar and had a few beers and went home. Tifa and Cloud live together at the bar in the room upstairs.

The next day Cloud and Tifa went outside for some fresh air. Since it was Sunday Tifa didn't have to open the bar. Cloud and Tifa were riding their gold chocobos. Cloud cherished these moments with his love of his life. Suddenly Cloud felt a presence of something evil. A sudden force shook the ground and if hell itself broke loose, a gigantic phoenix erupted from the giant crack in the ground. Cloud almost lost his footing when he saw the monstrous demon. When he looked at the demon he saw no visible body but only the shape of a phoenix made out of fire. Two enormous wings expanded from the demon. Its eyes were swirling orbs of black flame. Cloud instantly cast ice three but as if it had reflect on it shot back at him full force. Cloud was strong but that shot caught him of guard so for a moment he was dazed and was hit with such a force that it sent him flying 4 yards. He got up holding his head, blood coming from a cut strait down his left eye. He saw tifa running towards him. He yelled out" tifa run get the others". She nodded her head in agreement, and quickly started to head for kalm at top speed.
