Chapter 1 - Just Walking
I was only walking. Where's the harm in that? I had absolutely no idea where I was. I know where I had started out, and I knew where I was meant to end my journey, but I had no idea where abouts where I was in between the two. So I just walked and hoped it was the right direction.
I could see nothing – no signs of civilisation – for miles. I tucked my hair behind my pointed ears and kept walking. I had to come across someone or something soon.
How wrong I was. By now I was definitely lost. I had no idea where I was, though it seemed I was everywhere I shouldn't be. At least the terrain had changed over the past 5 hours. It had become mountainous, very rocky. If I hadn't known better, I would've said I was in Emyn Muil, but that was impossible. I had been travelling in a completely different direction. It began to rain heavily. I was beginning to feel tired after walking for hours, pulled my cloak around me and found shelter beneath an overhang of a rock.
By the time I awoke it was morning. Although the rain had stopped, it was still very overcast and the only warmth was from the very weak sunshine. Not that I needed it. I continued walking. Hopefully in the right direction.
My trip, as you've probably guessed, was very uneventful. Days passed, I was getting nowhere, and the supplies I had been carrying were getting low. Rain, sleet, fog. Rain, sleet, fog. The same weather and terrain every time. I was getting the feeling I was going in circles. I began making patterns in the ground at certain points, tried deliberately to go in a different direction each time, and was still getting nowhere.
I dug around in my once-full pack. Only a little Lembas left. The only food I had left. I could find water easily; it was absolutely everywhere, but finding food was a different matter. I had to get away from this place and fast.
3 hours later it began to snow. I wasn't that worried about it – I could walk on it, so that was no problem, but I could hardly see. Just white. And more white. There probably wasn't much to see anyway. I was at the point of giving up. I was going nowhere and most likely would never find my way out of here.
I just stopped where I was, tired from the walking and relentless weather. I must have fallen unconscious, because when I woke up, I was not where I had been before.

Yeah, I know, really short chapter. Dude, I've only written 1 page!! Oh well, comes from being completely bored. What do you think? I'll carry on once I have seven reviews.
Kess ;P
