Disclaimer:  I do not own Yu-gi-oh, but unless Konami has plans to release the cards that I will be making in the future chapters, then I made then up.  If they do then I apologize for using them.

In our last installment:

Serenity Wheeler was saved from a bully by Seto Kaiba, who has feelings for Serenity but won't act on them.  Little does the young executive know that Serenity has the same feelings & is preparing to act on those very same emotions!  How, you might ask?  By buying him a present to thank him for saving her from the bully.  But, what kind of present could she possibly get for a guy who has everything?  Read & find out.  Enjoy!

Serenity's P.O.V.

What can I get him?  thought young Serenity Wheeler as she sat in the school cafeteria eating a large helping of spaghetti & meatballs.

Ever since this morning when Seto Kaiba had saved her from one of the school bullies, she'd been trying to come up with an idea for a present to get him to thank him.  It had distracted her during her classes, but she had to come up with something.  The only problem was that he was rich & probably had one or three of everything.

But, never the less, she wanted to get him something.  She was in love with Seto Kaiba & she wanted to get him something that would always remind him of her.  That is, if she could come up with something.

There's gotta be something I can get him!  she thought as she overheard a conversation between two students at the school who were into Duel Monsters.

"Your shitting me!"  said student number one.

"I swear it's true."  The second student said.

"Why would they release only one of each of those cards?  It ridiculous."

"I don't understand it either, but every duelist in the world are buying up those packs left & right trying to find them."

"I can imagine."  Student number two said.

"I hear even Kaiba has spent over a million dollars on the packs trying to find them & no luck."  Student number one said attracting Serenity's attention.

Seto's looking for something!!!  thought Serenity.  This could be my chance!

She quickly finished her lunch, cleaned up her tray & ran off to find the one person who could help her find out what Seto was looking for, the king of games himself, Yugi Motou.

She found him in the place she expected to.  In the old computer lab, teaching Duel Monsters to rookie duelists.

Within the last month, Domino High school had finally learned how popular the game really was, so in an effort to get the students to pay attention in class they made this special room for the newly formed Duel Monsters Club.  Here students could duel & enjoy themselves.  Yugi could always be found here during lunch hour because he liked to teach people new to the game all the tricks to win honorably.

As she entered the room, she saw Yugi was talking in the hallway outside the room to Seto.  She hid herself behind a corner & listened in to what they were talking about.

"So there's still no sign of them?"  asked Seto.

"Sorry Seto…"  said Yugi.  "…no one's found those cards yet."

"I see,…"  said Seto scratching his chin.  "Well, I guess I'll keep trying."

"Do you wanna come in & play a game?"  asked Yugi.

"Not right now."  Seto said.  "I've got something I've gotta take care of.  Mabye later."

"Okay.  Good luck."  Yugi said smiling.

"You too."  Seto said as he walked away in the opposite direction.

Serenity quickly made her move as he disappeared from site, & approached Yugi.

"Hi Yugi!"  she said cheerfully.

"Oh, hey Serenity!"  said Yugi.  "What's up?"

"Not much."  Serenity said.  "How're your duel monster classes going?"

"Pretty good."  Yugi said.  "The students are showing great promise."

"You must love teaching."  Serenity said.  "Why else would you not go on the class trip?"

"Well, I just couldn't leave them when I made a commitment to teach."  Yugi said.  "Have you heard from Joey?"

"Yeah, he called last night & told me all about how beautiful it is up there."

"I know.  Tea called me & told me too."

"I wish we were with them."  Serenity said.

"Me too."  Yugi said.

"So,…I noticed you talking with Kaiba."  She said bringing up what she wanted to ask Yugi.  "What'd he want?"

"Oh, he's just looking for those new Duel Monsters Cards."  He replied.

"What new cards?"  asked Serenity.

"These really rare cards that were just released."  Yugi explained.  "They only released only one of each card into one pack & the packs have been selling like hot cakes."

"What cards are they?"

"The Blue-Eyed Warrior Woman is one & no one knows what the other one is."

"Blue-Eyed Warrior Woman?"  said Serenity.  "I can guess why Kaiba wants that one."

"Yeah.  It's suppose to have some kind of power from the Blue-Eyes White Dragon but we don't know for sure."

"Hmmm, I could use a card like that in my deck."  Serenity said.  "What're the packs called?"

"I think that their called, Warriors of the Light."  He said thinking for a minute.  "Yeah that's it!"

"Cool.  Does your grandfathers shop have any in?"

"We just got some."  Yugi said.  "But, because of the demand he's selling them for twenty dollars a pack."

"I think I have that much."  She said looking at her watch.  "Well, I'd better let you et back to your class.  See ya!"

"Bye Serenity."  Yugi said as he went back into the classroom.

The Blue-Eyed Warrior Woman, huh?  thought Serenity.  I hope I can find it.

Later that day

"Well, here I go!"  Serenity said to herself as she entered the Kame Game Shop.

"Hoho!  Hello Serenity."  Mr. Motou the owner of the shop, & Yugi's grandfather.

"Hi Mr. Motou!"  Serenity said cheerfully.  "How's business?"

"Pretty good."  He replied.  "That new Warriors of the Light series is selling fast."

"That's why I'm here."  Serenity said.  "Do you have any left?"

"Of course."  Mr. Motou said.  "Unfortunately I only have three packs left."

"I'll take them!"  said Serenity holding up sixty dollars.

"Since you're a friend of Yugi's, I'll let you have them at half the cost."  Mr. Motou said taking only thirty dollars.

"Are you sure?"  asked Serenity.

"I can afford it."  Mr. Motou said smiling.

"Thank you."  Serenity said smiling back.

"Your very welcome."  He said as she left the shop & headed for home.

Once there she sat down on her couch & lay the three packs on the table.  Then, she started.  She opened the first pack & looked inside.  Not there.

She opened the next package.  Still nothing.

It was down to the last pack.  She started to feel very nervous.  Would they be, or wouldn't they be.  That was the question.  [Hey, a little Shakespere in your life can't hurt right?]

As she reached for the last pack her heart beat a mile a minute.  Would they be in there?  Could she find the cards that would make Seto happy & make him always remember her?

She slowly opened up the pack, &…

Ring, ring, ring!!!

"Huh!?!" said Serenity confused until she realized it was the telephone & not the package of cards ringing.  She quickly answered it & found it was a wrong number.

She hung up the phone & went back to the pack.  As she held it to her heart she prayed.

"Please, let this be it."  The young girl prayed.  "Let me find the cards.  Heart of the Cards, please help my heart.  For the one I love."

With that said, Serenity pulled out the cards, looked them over & found…

To Be Continued…

Author's Notes:  Don't you just hate it when a story or tv show is just getting good & suddenly they end it with to be continued so you have to see the next one as well.  [Hehehehe!]  See you next time!  Remember, read & review is a nice combination.
