"Damn, damn, damn, damn and damn!" Tonks muttered under her breath. She hated to admit it, but she was running late. Already it was nine o'clock on Friday night and she was just now leaving the Ministry.
Stupid goblins, she thought as she apparated home so she could change. She was guarding Gringotts this week and her replacement was late. She tried to leave when the shift was done, but the goblins wouldn't let her leave until the next shift arrived. "Can't have the money unguarded, now can we," she said sarcastically. And then of course she had to go the Ministry to write her shift report.
"I could've done that report in two words," Tonks grumbled as she ran up the stairs to her room. "Nothing happened."
She scrunched her face and in the next moment, she was Celeste. Looking at the clock, she wondered if Severus might have delayed Malfoy at all, hoping that he did.
"Bugger! Why is everything going wrong today?" She wanted to take a bath to freshen up, but a cleaning spell would have to do. Tonks had planned on buying an outfit for tonight after work. She had only bought one Celeste outfit and Malfoy had already seen that. "I will vex William Treeroot if it's the last thing I do for being late!"
"You should really stop talking to yourself like that, dearie," Tonks' mirror told her. Tonks promptly threw a dirty pair of socks at the mirror. "Violence won't help the situation!" the mirror squeaked.
She grabbed her skirt off of the floor as she took off her pants. She could wear the same skirt, surely? As she started to put on the skirt, she noticed her underwear and started laughing. Celeste most certainly would not wear a matching cotton bra and panties set that had a print of Bertie Bott's Every Flavored Beans on it. She found her nice black lace underwear from the other night. Malfoy hadn't seen that, so she put it on. God, she hated thongs.
Tonks put on the skirt and then realized she hadn't put on any stockings. Well, the less clothes the better. She put on her boots and ran to the closet to find a shirt.
"Do I really only own T-shirts?" she mumbled. "There has to be one nice grown-up top in here."
She went through every top until near the end she finally hit the jackpot. Tonks found a black lace-up bodice that was sleeveless. Perfect! Celeste would fit, since it was lace-up.
Feeling better that she was at least dressed, Tonks went to her mirror to do her make-up.
"I hate make-up!" Tonks whined. Then she stared at the mirror. "Don't say a word," she warned the mirror.
Normally if she needed to wear make-up, she just morphed her face. Darkened her lips, thickened her eyelashes, and so forth. But tonight, she needed real make-up that could be smudged. As she finished putting on her make-up, she wondered yet again if they could pull this off.
She took one last glance at herself in the mirror. The effect was near perfect. She looked at the hourglass on the nightstand. Almost ten o'clock. Not bad at all. Tonks ran down the stairs, hoping that no one would be in the hallway. No one was. Thank goodness! Walking outside, she apparated straight to Knockturn Alley.
Tonks gathered her strength and walked into The Poison Arrow. She stood for a moment at the doorway looking for Malfoy. She couldn't see him. Glancing around again, she decided that he most certainly was not there.
Trying to collect herself, she sat down at the bar and ordered a glass of wine. Within a span of an hour, three different men approached her. Tonks turned each gentleman down with a harsh look. By eleven o'clock, Malfoy still had not shown and Tonks was starting to become quiet worried.
"Okay, please be calm," she told herself. Tonks was sure there had to be a logical explanation on why Malfoy hadn't shown yet. He could be doing the same thing she wanted to do make her wait. Or…perhaps he decided he didn't like Celeste and is standing her up.
Or, Severus has been discovered and the Death Eaters are taking turns torturing him before they kill. Tonks didn't like that explanation at all. She concentrated on the first two possibilities. She decided to wait until midnight and then leave if he didn't show.
Tonks adjusted herself in her barstool while she tried to get the bartenders attention. Five minutes later she heard Malfoy's cool voice next to her. "Two fire whiskeys."
She turned to look at him. He had a very cocky look on his face, as if he already had tasted victory. "I hope you weren't waiting here long, Celeste, all by yourself."
"Don't worry. If you hadn't shown, I wouldn't have been by myself for very long," Tonks said, in what she hoped was a teasing manner.
As the bartender gave Malfoy his drinks he said, "Come to my table. I brought someone with me for protection."
Was Malfoy making a joke? She decided he was and started laughing. She grabbed her drink and followed him to his table. Severus was there, thank goodness. He stood up as she approached the table.
"Celeste, this is Severus Snape."
"It's nice to meet you," she said, extending her hand.
Severus took her hand and brought it up to his lips. His lips were very cool on her skin.
Malfoy narrowed his eyes slightly. "Celeste, wasn't Snape your Potions professor at Hogwarts?"
Tonks knew this could only lead to trouble. Best to lie quickly and hope this topic was never brought up again. "I didn't go to Hogwarts," Tonks lied easily. "I grew up in England, then my mum got a great job with the American Ministry of Magic. I went to Salem and moved back to England when I finished."
Malfoy seemed to accept that easily. "Do your parents live out in America still?" Tonks couldn't believe it; he actually seemed interested in what she was saying!
"Yes, so I'm all alone here in London," she said staring straight at Malfoy. As she spoke, she started to run her foot up and down his leg.
"Severus here teaches potion, but his outside activities are so much more fascinating, aren't they, Snape?"
At that, Severus took a large swallow of fire whiskey.
"To Hogwarts, Snape is very respectable. A reformed Death Eater. But in reality, he's a spy for out lord. No one has any idea at Hogwarts. It's brilliant." Malfoy slapped Severus on the back.
Inside, Tonks was fuming. It couldn't be true! Severus could not be playing both sides that. She searched his face, hoping for a sign, but of course none was there. She started to take a sip of firewhiskey, but then put it down, knowing everything depended on these next few moments.
"I can't tell you how much I envy the both of you," she said quietly.
"How do you mean?" Malfoy asked sharply.
"You both are servants of the Dark Lord; he honors you by asking you to do his bidding! There is no higher calling than that. What I wouldn't give to be in his presence just for a moment," Tonks sighed.
"That could just be arranged someday," Malfoy said smoothly, grabbing her hand and stroking it softly.
Tonks knew she said just the right thing. The three of them passed the next hour easily enough. They talked of non-important topics. Tonks made up some stories about America, mentally telling herself to look up teacher names at Salem just in case. Malfoy even talked about his son, Draco. Malfoy proudly said he would be ready to join the Death Eaters soon.
Severus stood up. "Malfoy, Celeste, I'm going to head back to Hogwarts now. Enjoy the rest of you evening." Malfoy nodded to him, and with that, Severus was out the door. Tonks was almost sorry to see him go.
She looked straight at Lucius and at the same moment, they both stood up. He smiled and offered her his arm. Accepting it, they walked outside. It was now or never. Tonks willed Malfoy to make an offer. She certainly couldn't invite him over to Headquarters!
"Would you like to come back to my place for some coffee?" Malfoy asked.
"I'd love to," Tonks said simply. There, the first move had been made.
Slowly, they walked down the street. Tonks looked up; it was a glorious evening out. Malfoy was saying something, she better pay attention. "I haven't been able to go to my manor since there was an incident at the Ministry. I have a small apartment, here in Knockturn Alley that I have been calling home lately."
They walked for a few more minutes in silence. They stopped in front of a worn down building. Malfoy moved a strand of hair out of her face and then grabbed her shoulders and kissed her. It was a violent kiss and within a moment he forced his tongue into her mouth.
Tonks wiggled out of his grasp. "Let's wait till we get upstairs. I would hate to thinks someone was watching us from a window." She grabbed his hand and he led her up the stairs.
The moment he closed the door, he lifted her up and started kissing her neck. Tonks wrapped her legs around him.
"Take me to the bedroom," she whispered, realizing that he wanted to play rough, having just bitten her neck.
They got into the bedroom and she knocked him down on the bed. Straddling him, she started to slowly unlace her bodice.
Quickly, he reached for the stings, but she slapped his hands. "Patience, Lucius," Tonks purred. "You don't want to make me angry, now."
Having unlaced her bodice, she stood up on the floor and took off her boots and skirt. Malfoy started undressing as well, and was in his dress shirt and underwear. He grabbed her and then threw her down on the bed, "Oh you dirty bitch," he said softly.
"Great," Tonks thought to herself. "Rough and dirty talk. Does it get any better?"
Tonks decided she needed to take control. As Malfoy was stroking and kissing her breasts, she felt a lifeline on the floor, his socks. Quickly she grabbed them and forced herself on top of Malfoy.
"You've been a bad boy, Lucius. I told you to be patient," she whispered. While she talked she tied his wrists to the bed with his socks.
Malfoy started laughing softly. "You are amazing," he said roughly.
Tonks stood up and slowly took off her underwear so that she was completely naked. She could feel his eyes devouring every curve. She went to lay besides him, taking off his underwear and starting stroking his shaft. "I can't wait until you're inside me," she said in his ear. Malfoy groaned, but Tonks just kept stroking.
After five minutes, she could tell he was getting impatient. He had called her a whore, slut, bitch and other names. Finally she lowered herself on top of him, wincing slightly. It had been, after all, a year since she had been with a man.
Slowly she started to move up top of him. "Untie me, you whore," Malfoy growled.
"You didn't say the magic word," Tonks replied and started to increase her tempo. She lowered herself so that her breasts were almost in his face.
Malfoy then closed his eyes and started moving his hips to her rhythm. She went faster, riding him furiously. When she could tell he was almost there, she faked her own orgasm. When that was complete, she got off of him and finished the job with her mouth. Trying very hard not to gag, she swallowed, looking at him delightedly. He had a very satisfied smile on his face.
"Merlin, Celeste. Will you untie me, please?" Malfoy asked.
Tonks realized that she won a small victory when he said please. She untied him, asking, "Where can I freshen up?"
Malfoy pointed, and Tonks got off up the bed and slowly walked to the bathroom. She wanted him to enjoy the view of her body. Casting a small smile to him, she closed the door.
As soon as Tonks closed the door, she thought she was going to throw up. "You can't lose it here," she muttered to herself. She thought that over and over to herself until it became a mantra. Oh gods, where was her wand? She wanted to do a cleaning spell. Quickly, she wiped herself off, desperately wanting to take a long bath.
Tonks opened the door to find Malfoy lying in the middle of the bed. She could tell he was going to throw her out. It was imperative that she told him she was leaving before he could kick her out.
"Well, Lucius," she said, pulling on her skirt, "I certainly have had a most enjoyable evening."
Malfoy chuckled slightly. "My dear, you are certainly aggressive."
"I pride myself on it," Tonks replied, lacing up her bodice. Quickly, she put on her boots and located her underwear and her wand. Certain that she had everything, she said, "I plan on being at The Poison Arrow on Tuesday around ten o'clock. Maybe I'll see you there."
He gave her a slight nod and she apparated to twelve Grimmauld Place. She had never been so happy to see the place in her life!
