"Penelope? Jack?" Will said aloud, confused but happy to see them. "I'm so glad you two are both alright! Come on in..." He urged them both in.
Once they were both inside, he went to call Elizabeth. "Oh, Penelope! Where were you? I'm relieved that you're safe..." Elizabeth hugged her sister. "What did you think you were doing?" She asked frmly afterwards.
"I'm fine, I'm fine... We've got the Black Pearl back. I'm in good health and I'm safe. It's all thanks to Jack looking after me." Penelope smiled over to Jack, who returned it back.
Elizabeth turned to Jack. She then slapped him.
Penelope and Jack stared at her with puzzled looks. "Wha, what was that fer?" He asked, innocently.
"Elizabeth!" Penelope said, but Elizabeth ignored her.
"That was for taking Penelope." Elizabeth announced. Then she smiled and hugged Jack. "That is for keeping her safe and looking after her, Jack. Thank you so much!" She nearly burst into tears. She hugged him again.
Jack had confusion written all over him. But then he clapped his hands together, remembering the point of why they had come back. "Right, I was thinkin' 'bout Penelo...." Before he could get no further, Penelope stopped him.
She shook her head, when nobody was looking. "No, don't tell them now... It'll spoil the happiness right now..." She whispered.
Jack nodded. "Yer right, I'll tell them when it's the right time..." He shouted out, "I'm starving, got any food?"
Will replied, "Actually, we were just about to have tea! Come join us..."
After they had their meal, Penelope yawned with heavy eyelids. "Elizabeth, I'm really tired... Could I take a short sleep, please?" Penelope asked. It was true, she was tired from the trip.
"Of course you can! We'll try to be quiet!" Elizabeth was already whispering. As Penelope disappeared into her room, she turned to Jack. "How did you get the Black pearl back?" She asked.
Will questioned too. "Who took it?"
"It was Barbossa's daughter, believe it or not! She took me Pearl fer revenge... But then she killed herself, so I took me ship." Jack answered both their questions, easily.
Elizabeth had a disgusted look. "She killed herself?" She repeated, feeling a sort of pity for her.
"I never knew he had a daughter, let alone a child!" Will commented.
"Same with me..." Jack said. "'er name was Teresa. Now she's lost somewhere in the deep sea."
Will and Elizabeth nodded and felt a little sorry for her. Will changed the subject. "So, is that it about the adventures or are there more?"
Jack sat down in a chair nearby. "There's more mate... But only one. Well if ye count convincing Anamaria, that's two." He grinned, more to himself.
"So, what happened?" Elizabeth and Will sat down opposite Jack, eager to hear the stories.
Jack went on from the ghost ship and how they caught Penelope, which Elizabeth gasped at that, then to the bit where they went to see Anamaria and how she had changed. Afterwards they were all silent.
"Wow, no wonder Penelope was tired..." Will said.
Elizabeth sighed, relieved. "Well, I'm glad we have her back, though. I was so worried!"
"Actually, ye should still be worryin', coz Penelope thought it would be nice ter travel on me Pearl with me, o' course." Jack suggested, feeling a little guilty. He shut his eyes as he expected a scream or a yell. Or even another slap!
"What? No way, Jack Sparrow" Elizabeth nearly shouted, just as Jack thought. "She's come back, and she's staying! And that's that..."
"Well, I don't mind... It's just that, Penelope might become a little gloomy if she doesn't. She told me it was her wish to sail in the Black pearl! Oh well, too bad." Jack fibbed, well halfly.
Elizabeth's ears prickled up. "She did?" She quizzed, curious.
"Maybe, Elizabeth, we could let Penelope go on the ship for just a short period of time. I mean, Jack has brought Penelope back in one piece... And I bet he could do that again." Will said, trying to convince her for Penelope's happiness.
Jack looked at her expectantly. "Well...?" He asked, waiting for a response.
Elizabeth looked from Will, to Jack, and to Penelope's shut bedroom door. She cared for her sister, and she wanted her to be safe and happy. 'If Penelope's with Jack, I'm sure she'll always be safe, I guess...' She thought. 'And she'll be happy if she's on the Black Pearl and when she gets to stay with Jack for a bit more!' She smiled at her decision. "Alright, Jack. I've made up my mind. You can take Penelope away with you on your Pearl..." Jack grinned. "But only in one condition!" She added.
Will and Jack, both looked up, from surprisement and anxiousness.
Elizabeth took that as a sign to continue. "I want my sister to be safe, loved, cared, and returned. Is that an accord?" She asked.
"Aye, wait it's more than an accord... It's a promise, and a vow." Jack shouted happy and excited.
Will smiled at Elizabeth. He knew she'd make the right choice for her sister. "Well done..." He commented.
Then the door to Penelope's bedroom opened. "What's all the noise? I thought you said you'll try to be quiet..." Penelope said through a yawn. She managed a smile.
"Luv, we're going ter go out ter sea again, whenever yer ready! An' we're gonna come back again, whenever yer ready!" Jack announced, proudly. He flashed his gold tooth as he grinned.
Penelope's eyes widened. "Really? That's wonderful!" She ran down and hugged Jack. "Thank you..." She said.
"Don't thank me, luv. Thank yer sister and yer brother-in-law!" Jack told her.
Penelope took a big breathe. "Thank you so much for agreeing, Elizabeth and Will! You're all brilliant!" She said to them and gave each of them a warm hug.. She gave Jack a soft kiss on the lips, thinking of what kind of adventure might take place, and how life would be on the Black Pearl with Jack.
