As soon as Tonks saw Lucius, Lord Voldemort appeared in front of the Death Eaters. He chuckled softly, "I understand that some of you were getting restless, my followers. Remember, Lord Voldemort will always reward patience. We are currently planning another large attack! The thirty-one that died before will be considered a small amount!"
The crowd started cheering. Tonks wondered if Severus had been included in these new plans. Tonks was able to find Narcissa easily in the crowd. Quickly, she made her way over to the witch. Tonks was willing to do almost anything to find out when these new attacks would be.
"Silence!" Lord Voldemort cried. "Tonight, there is a cause for celebration! Tonight, we welcome one of our one back from Azkaban! Malfoy, you have proven yourself even more worthy!"
"My, my," Narcissa said from underneath her hood, "you weren't singled out for getting out of Azkaban, were you, Celeste?" Tonks could tell that Narcissa was trying to get a rise out of her, and it was working. Couldn't Celeste have been recognized too? It would have given her a higher standing among the Death Eaters. Then Tonks realized, not many people knew that Celeste was Lucius' female companion.
"I'm not here to win a popularity contest, Narcissa," Tonks growled.
"My Death Eaters," Voldemort continued. "Everyday we grow stronger, with more recruits! Soon even Dumbledore himself will be trembling at the thought of us! Even now, a new plan to rid the world of Harry Potter is in the works! We shall be victorious!"
Tonks stopped paying attention. Did Severus know there was another plan to capture Harry? How could he not? Why hadn't he told anyone? A little red light started going off in Tonks' head that she could not ignore. Months ago, when Celeste had first met Malfoy, he claimed Severus was in fact a spy for Lord Voldemort. Could that be why the Order didn't know about the horrific attacks? Was he withholding information?
She took a deep breath. It couldn't be true. Severus said he was the one that sent Malfoy to prison. And you, as well, the devil on her shoulder whispered. What if he didn't expect you to escape?
Wild cheers. Tonks cursed herself for not paying attention to what was being said. "Be off, my followers. Allow yourself some fun tonight, but save your energies for our next attack!" A loud crack followed, and Voldemort was gone.
The crowd started dispersing. Slowly, Tonks looked around. He was coming towards her. She had to get away. There was no doubt in Tonks' mind that Narcissa would be willing to carry out her threat. Tonks' looked around; Narcissa was standing in a group of women. Tonks could tell one of those women was her aunt Bellatrix.
Much to Tonks' relief, Malfoy brushed right past Tonks and headed straight to Narcissa. But not before allowing his hand to slide across her bottom. Tonks desperately hoped that Narcissa missed that brief contact.
She decided to try to figure out which Death Eater Severus was. Many of the Death Eaters had taken off their masks. Severus was nowhere to be seen. Tonks' decided to stay where she was for a while, hoping he'd find her. A few minutes later, she heard a voice behind her, "You and I need to have a little chat."
"I don't have anything to say to you, Malfoy. You got me thrown in Azkaban," Tonks replied coolly, refusing to turn around and look at him.
"Well, my dear, that's what I would like to talk to you about. I wouldn't refuse my request, if I were you. Be at The Poison Arrow in fifteen minutes."
Tonks nodded her head and sighed. If she talked to Malfoy, Narcissa would kill her. If she didn't talk to Malfoy, then he would kill her. Really, it was very tiresome!
Tonks apparated to Knockturn Alley. She stayed in front of the bar. Malfoy wouldn't be able to be in public for a long period of time. She heard a crack, and he grabbed her arm. "Walk with me," he said with a smile on his face, though his nails dug into her skin.
He led her through the streets of Knockturn Alley. Malfoy took out his wand and gave it a wave. Suddenly, Tonks couldn't see. "It's a temporary blindness, my dear. You see, I don't have any intention on going back to Azkaban any time soon, so I'm being more careful in who sees my new residence."
"Finally playing it safe, eh Lucius?" she asked.
"Not quite, my dear, not quite."
Tonks couldn't see a thing. He was now leading her up a flight of stairs. They paused, and thanks to her better hearing could hear Lucius whisper "Celestial," and the sound of a door opening.
He led her in the room and then violently pushed her onto the floor. Her vision was coming back to her, though everything was still a little blurry. "Celeste, Celeste, Celeste. What am I going to do with you? Do you know how many people knew where I used to live? Six. My wife, my son, Severus Snape, Wormtail, the Dark Lord himself and you."
Tonks brought herself up into a sitting position. Malfoy started chuckling to himself. "Needless to say my dear, the first five people on my list I would trust with my life. That leaves you. Young, innocent, beautiful Celeste. Who I still know nothing about."
He was standing right on top of her. "I have ways you know, to find out if you told the Aurors."
"Why the hell would I do that Malfoy?" Tonks spat. "And if I did, why would I get myself sent as well?"
There was that awful chuckle again. "You certainly seemed to get out easily enough."
"I have a friend who's an Auror; she felt sorry for me and let me out."
"Who?"
Shit.
Tonks stayed silent. "This friend could be a useful ally, Celeste," he told her.
Tonks remained quiet. "You will answer me, my dear, when I ask you a question," Malfoy said harshly.
Merlin, what should she say? Malfoy knew the Aurors well enough; she had to name a real person. "Her name is Nymphadora Tonks," she said, closing her eyes, hoping she knew what she was doing.
"You are friends with her?" Malfoy asked sharply.
Tonks nodded. "We used to live in the same building."
"Where is she now?"
"I have no idea, Malfoy. She moved. No forwarding address."
"Can you get in contact with her again?" he asked excitedly.
Tonks shook her head no, "It was random chance that I saw her at all. I wouldn't know where to look."
"Damn," Lucius said under his breath. "Celeste, if you see her again, try to become friendly with her. We need her on our side."
"Why is she important?" Tonks asked casually, hoping he'd reveal something.
"That is for me to know, and you not to know," he teased. He was so damn condescending!
Tonks nodded her head. He was chuckling again! "You distracted me, my dear. What was I saying? Ah yes, I can accept that perhaps the Aurors found me on their own. I will admit, I was a little lax in my own security. Rest assured that will not happen again. However, Celeste, if I find out that you are giving any information away, you will be killed. Slowly, of course."
He held out his hand. Tonks gingerly accepted it and was helped onto her feet. She took a step towards the door when he grabbed her waist. "I was in Azkaban for a month, Celeste," he said, breathing on her neck. "I can't tell you how many times I dreamed of you, of your taste, your feel."
She closed her eyes, knowing what was expected of her tonight. "How did you find another place to live so quickly?" she asked, hoping to keep his mind occupied elsewhere.
"Who the fuck cares, Celeste? Now why are you changing the subject?" he asked, turning her around and kissing her on the lips.
After a month of only having Severus kiss her gently, this kiss was completely unwelcome. He opened her mouth and forced his tongue inside. "Fuck, I need you now Celeste."
He took her over to the small couch and pushed her down. Tonks knew the easiest thing would be to accept him and get this over with. She quickly took off her underwear and spread her legs, while thinking, "Forgive me, Severus." While she was doing that, Lucius was taking off his robe and unbuttoning his pants. He jumped on top of her and started thrusting. Tonks wrapped her legs around him. Less than three minutes later, he collapsed on top of her.
"I'm never going that long without sex again," Lucius laughed.
"Dear, you always have willing accomplices where ever you go, so I wouldn't worry about that," Tonks heard a voice say.
Tonks looked around, there was someone else in the room! She gasped as Narcissa Malfoy stepped out from the shadows. "Hello Celeste. I seem to remember a threat I made to you awhile back."
Lucius stood up and readjusted himself. Tonks quickly put her legs back together and sat up, wishing she knew where her underwear landed. Walking over to his wife, he kissed her on the neck. Narcissa's eyes never left Tonks' face. "Seems my husband and I threatened to kill you no matter what you did tonight," she looked at her husband, "That really wasn't nice of us dear."
Lucius laughed and put his arms around Narcissa's waist and nuzzled her neck. "Don't worry, you'll live tonight. Best not to mention this to Bella though, I know she'd jump at the chance to kill you. Come to the Malfoy Manor tomorrow for tea. I have something to discuss with you."
Tonks stood up, very confused. "You may leave now," Narcissa said with a wicked grin on her face, "I need to welcome my husband home properly.
