I Simply Can't Choose
An: You know how Inu Yasha likes to sit in trees and just think? Well, here are some thoughts that could've gone through his mind while he's up there. Oh, and I'm a really big InuYasha/Kikyou fan. But I tried to keep it fairly neutral in this poem… Well, enjoy!
Those memories that'll always last.
And the dark shadows that were cast.
A part of my past.
That I have not yet forgotten so fast.
Yet through all the despair,
I found light, life, and love.
You've shown me pure bliss
Since the very first kiss.

Who would've known?
A tainted half breed
And a pure simple miko,
Together forever.
Or so we thought.
And now I'm torn between lives.
Forced to pick of the two.
Of my present or past.
A love that will last.
Kikyou or Kagome.
I simply can't choose.
