No Hopes, No Dreams
Morgan was on her feet, staring at Hunter and Saebryn. Saebryn looked highly miffed, and Hunter just looked plain annoyed. At Bree.
"You're married??"
"Morgan, listen to me..."
Morgan shook her head. "No, I can't believe you!!"
Hunter sighed. "Bloody hell, Morgan! Did you expect me to stay single my entire life, just hoping you'd be back? Just waiting for the day you'd come??"
He had a point.
So instead of getting even angrier, she nodded. "I'm happy for both of you. I'm tired though. I need to go to bed."
Hunter glared at Bree. "Now you've done it."
Bree's mouth dropped open. "Me?!?!"
Without another word, she walked up to her bedroom and shut the door. Flinging herself onto her bed, she started sobbing. Everything here was different. She had been hoping at least Hunter would have been the same...

Morgan woke in the morning, only to immediately get up and walk into the wall, expecting a door. She pushed at the wall with her shoulder. Where was the door?? She needed to go see Jonathan—wait.
Firstly, the wall wasn't even white, second of all, she wasn't dead anymore. With a disgruntled sigh, she walked into her sister's room; where Mary K was getting ready for church, and threw open the cupboard. She pulled out a pair of jeans and a red sweater, taking them into her room. She wasn't planning to go out today. Not at all. Hang on... was Practical Magick still open?? She looked at her clock. Eleven thirty. Perfect. She ran downstairs, grabbed the phone, and started punching in Hunter's number.
A girl's voice answered.
"Hello?"
"Raven???"
"Morgan?!?!! Oh my God! Hunter said you were back!!!"
"Yes... is Sky there by any chance?"
"Yeah, hang on, I'll grab her..."
"SKY!!! IT'S MORGAN ON THE PHONE FOR YOU!!!!"
Someone laughed. "Really? Hang on."
Footsteps, then:
"Morgan?"
"Hey, Sky..."
"Oh Goddess!!! How are you?? Hunter told me everything."
"I'm good. I just wanted to ask you if you could take me down to Practical Magick today. If it's still open, that is. Mary K has to work after church."
"Yes! Of course! When?"
"Now, if you could."
"Fantastic. Give me ten minutes. I'll see you soon. Bye-bye."
"Goodbye."

Morgan was sitting on the grass outside her house when Sky pulled up, in Raven's black Peugeot.
"You don't mind if Raven tags along, do you?"
Morgan shook her head. Then Sky hugged her tightly, and whispered:
"I'm so glad you're back." She pulled away, tears in her eyes. Then she laughed, wiping them away.
Morgan was promptly knocked to the ground as Raven jumped out of the car and threw herself at Morgan, her black hair flying. "Hey, girl!!"
They both stood up, and Raven linked her arm through Morgan's as they walked to the car. Raven opened the front passenger door and ushered Morgan in, closing the door and getting in the backseat.
ï¾
They'd been driving for a while, when Sky slammed her feet on the brakes, causing them all to ram forward.
"What the hell are you doing, Sky?" Raven asked angrily.
Sky didn't answer. She just stared straight ahead.
Morgan looked out the front window.
Practical Magick was in ruins, and Ciaran MacEwan was standing right in the middle of it all.
Noticing them, he smiled.
