Joe looked around carefully. He was in the forest with Jet and the bushes had just moved. "Who's there? Show yourself!" Jet yelled and a strange man came out. He had long red hair and held a rose in his hand.
"Sorry if I startled you, I'm Suichi." The man said. "This is my friend, Hiei, somewhere. Hiei come on, it's safe." A man, abought a head shorter then Suichi, with black hair walked calmly out of the woods and into the clearing.
"I'm Joe, this is Jet." Joe said getting out his gun incase they attacked. Suichi calmly sniffed his rose and Hiei just looked at the two cyborgs.
"Please, we require help. You see we got lost in the woods, if you could help us find the nearest city we would be grateful." Suichi said lowering his hand.
"It's late, you can come to our house and, if Dr. Gilmore approves, stay the night. We'll take you to the nearest town in the morning." Joe said, Jet nodded and they led the two strangers back to the mansion they lived in now.
"Joe, Jet, there you two are, we were abought to send a search team." Dr. Gilmore said from the front porch, Albert walked out and noticed that there were four people coming out.
"New friends?" Albert asked pointing to Suichi and Hiei.
"Travelers we found lost in the woods, is it okey if they stay the night and we take them to town in the morning?" Joe asked looking at Dr. Gilmore.
"I don't see why not, but you'll have to keep an eye on them, there's a girl with us and we don't know them." Dr. Gilmore said with a smile. Joe nodded and led Suichi and Hiei to the gust room, then Jet stayed with them when Dr. Gilmore pulled Joe aside to talk. "Joe, I realize we couldn't turn them away, but I don't like this. What happens if they find out abought you know what?"
"I didn't think of that. I guess I'll just have to be careful so they don't find out." Joe said and went back into the guest room.
"I'm worried, It's getting harder for Joe to control it. What if he accidently let's them find out?" Albert said turning to Dr. Gilmore.
"We'll just have to hope that doesn't happen." Dr. Gilmore replied and they went to their own rooms to prepare for bed. The next morning Hiei snuck out the window and got an apple, he set calmly in the tree eating it until he sensed powerful spirit energy nearby, he looked in a window and saw Joe laying in bed, the energy seemed to come from him. As Hiei watched Joe fell to the floor, gripping his head in pain. His window was open so Hiei jumped in to try and help, Joe looked at him, fear in his eyes, but couldn't do anything but lay there. He stopped moving and froze, his hands still on his head and his eyes closed tight.
"Calm down, I sense strong spirit energy coming from you. Just stay calm and let me help." Hiei said gently putting his hand on Joe's shoulder, Joe nodded slowly and Hiei took the cyborg's shirt off and looked at his chest. He put his ear to Joe's chest and listened to the rapid heartbeat, then his hands started glowing black as he sat back up. He carefully put his hands on Joe's chest and the pain stopped.
"Thank you, but how did you do that?" Joe asked.
"My sister taught me healing, I couldn't let you suffer, we're a lot alike. All demons go threw this kind of thing, I'm guessing you're powers have been unstable as well." Hiei said, Joe gasped and nodded.
"How did you know what I was?" Joe asked and Hiei took off his bandanna in answer.
"Kurama and I both are as well." Hiei said, Joe smiled, then thought of something.
"You won't hurt the others will you, or tell them?" Joe asked pleadingly.
"Don't worry, I promise I won't." Hiei said nodding. The cyborgs slowly woke up as Hiei hid what he was again. Joe and Jet took them to the nearest city and said there goodbyes.
