Believe me, points at computer, it was his!!!! I got some virus on it so my brother had to reboot everything and I lost the file where I had this chappie half done... sob So here it is again.

"Don't let me stop you, Malfoy," she glared at the redhead, "Would you be so kind as to put a full body bind spell on him?" she asked without a hint of sarcasm in her voice. It seemed, to Fred's disbelief, that she had never been so serious in her life (which was saying something, this was Hermione here).
Too astonished to reply something witty at the fury that had just entered the room, Draco muttered the curse and Fred toppled over on the side with the grace of a scared penguin. A loud 'ouch' escaped from his lips as his behind collided with the hard wooden floor.
"I never knew you missed me so badly, Hermione," he still managed to get out, a childish smirk plastered across his face. However, something was wrong, the smirk was not reaching his blue eyes, as if he knew he had done something bad but tried to cover it by any possible way.
Hermione sighed and crouched in front of him, her elbows resting on her knees.
"I just received an owl from Ginny. What in Merlin's name where you thinking?" she said asked in a barely controlled voice, articulating every syllable clearly, and putting the emphasis on the last word by almost shrieking.
Fred winced at her words, his eyes downcast in such a manner that it was pitiful. Draco surprised himself in feeling sorry for the Weasley twin. Although he wanted more than anything to know what would happen to him by the might of Hermione's wrath, he slowly and silently walked out, unnoticed by the others.
"Mione..." he muttered under his breath, his voice sounded like the one of an embarrassed child.
She started scratching the top of her head, eyes concentrated on the floor, brows furrowed in concentration. She seemed to be thinking of the easiest way to say this without sounding too straightforward. It was difficult. She took a deep claming breath before looking up at him again.
"How could you just cheat on her like that? You loved her!" she mentally kicked herself. Talk about being diplomatic... she had just uttered the number one sensitive subject not to discuss about: love.
"I... I still do, love her I mean. I was drunk, okay! And it wasn't entirely my fault, the girl almost jumped on me!"
"And I am sure you put up a fight to this harassment, right?" she replied sarcastically.
Fred sighed in frustration.
"I do love her, you know it. I was just scared, scared of my own feelings towards her and well... I got a bit carried away and got drunk... Than she found out, and I didn't want to hurt her anymore, so I ended it. I thought it was for the best, but..."
"But what?"
"I miss her, I..."
"She's pregnant"
Fred smiled at the joke. He looked at Hermione and saw the ever so serious expression in her eyes, the tightness of the muscles of her jaw. This wasn't a joke, and he knew what jokes were, he wasn't the president of the 3W for nothing.
His eyes widened at the statement as realization hit him.
"WHAT?" he yelled, making Hermione fall backwards from the sudden outburst. "Get that stupid spell off me! I got to go NOW!" with great effort, he got up, his legs still bound together, his arm clenched to his body.
Rubbing her backside, Hermione waved her wand and muttered the counter curse, shouting a "Good luck" after the retreating –running– figure of the redhead. She sighed. Pushing her back down to the floor, she leaned there, shivering against the cold wooden floor.
She looked up at the ceiling and wondered why it was so high. What was the point anyways, it's not like anyone could be that tall. Except maybe giants. But again, you don't invite giants to have some tea in your library (can giants even read?). Especially when you're a Malfoy.
"Granger?"
Speaking of the devil.
"Hum," she acknowledged his presence.
"Do you often sprawl yourself on the floor or is it something common among Muggles?" he questioned, raising an eyebrow at her figure stretched across the library ground.
She snorted and sat up.
"Come here, Malfoy," it was more an order than anything.
Still thinking of the way she slapped him and how angry she was at Fred not long ago, he carefully moved around her, keeping a good distance in between them. He sat about two meters away from her, on the floor, nonetheless. Did the Malfoy in him go for a walk in the woods and lost himself to never come back? Or some sign posting might bring him home soon, he hoped.
Hermione was staring at him intensely, and she found herself taken in by his gray gaze. Quite suddenly, she spoke, wondering if it was her own voice pronouncing those words.
"Can I kiss you?"
And so she did, leaning forward, the palms of her hands on the floor, she kissed gently an astonished Malfoy, so incredulous that he had forgotten suddenly who was kissing him, where he was or what his name was. He even failed to remember how to kiss, which didn't really matter anyways, as Hermione did a good job of doing that for him.
Finally getting back to his sense, he raised a hand to her cheek and pushed her face away from his own, only a little. His whole body was burning up, he had never felt any emotions like this before. Had he really changed that much?
"I don't..." he started, his mouth dry. He licked his lips before continuing, "I don't think I can get used to this so quickly..."
She rested her forehead on his, her eyes peering deep into his gray soul. She could not be able to tell why, but all of which she had always hated in that arrogant ferret had slowly melted as the kiss had went on. She blinked and smirked slightly.
"I guess I can wait... just a little while," she said faking boredom, pulling back from him.
Draco was now sitting at his desk, a sacred place it was for him, where his inspiration always got him. However, what he had just written didn't sound like him at all. He had been thinking about Hermione – again. Who had come to be his worst enemy, his passionate lover, his colleague, his guide in parenting, and now this? His... could he say it? His love?
Emotions were confusing, and were even more for a Malfoy. Why her? Because she was... everything. After spending a week with her, he found that he could not imagine going back to living alone.
Slamming his quill down on the desk in an explosion of black ink drops, he got up and almost ran to where he knew Hermione and Jude were. The kitchen.
"I never said you were a bad cook mum, I only said that Molly was a better one than you but it wasn't my intention to..."
"Suggest very explicitly that I was a lousy cook? Make children! They'll bring you joy!" she replied laughing.
Draco chose this moment to dramatically enter the room, making his way straight to Hermione, encircled her skinny waist with his strong arms and passionately kissed her. The message in Hermione's mind was blinking in neon lights: "The Wait Is Over". She smiled against his lips and kissed back, feelings flooding her mind.
"EW! That's disgusting, how can you just do that in front of me! I'll be scarred for life but the image of my parents making out," he said in disgust before exiting the room. He was smirking so widely the corner of his mouth must have hurt for days on afterwards.
On the parchment still resting on Draco's desk, these words glowed slightly, beautifully framed by drops of ink.
"Everything about you is how I wanna be
Your freedom comes naturally
Everything about you resonates happiness
Now I won't settle for less
Give me all the peace and joy in your mind
Everything about you pains my envying
Your soul can't hate anything
Everything about you is so easy to love
They're watching you from above
Give me all the peace and joy in your mind
I want the peace and joy in your mind
Give me the peace and joy in your mind
Everything about you resonates happiness
Now I won't settle for less
Give me all the peace and joy in your mind
I want the peace and joy in your mind
Give me the peace and joy in your mind"
A/N: I know, it's short, but I just wanted to end it here... I really hope you liked this FINAL CHAPTER. Also, there will NOT be a SEQUEL. Sorry, don't have time anymore and have no clue how I could continue this anyways...?
Okay, the "Can I kiss you?" is for my friend Lise-Maud, who actually asked that to the guy she fancied on Thursday, and now they're going out.
The song is NOT MINE! I wish it was, but am no musical genius here, Matthieu Bellamy is. He wrote it, he's the singer of MUSE, which is one of the best rock bands around... This song is called 'Bliss' and it's one of my favorites. Download it if you can, it's really great. And while you're at it, try 'Time Is Running Out' and 'New Born'. And 'In Your World'. They're great too! cough
Hope everyone enjoyed this fic, I took pleasure in writing it so...!
Please review and give me any impressions you have on it, may they be good or not!
