Wrote this in my period 3 English I class, while the rest of the students were finishing a chapter or two and starting an assignment. I was feeling poetic at the moment lol, so I decided to spew this out. Lime-ish, but can also be symbolic.
When I wrote it, I was thinking Ralph x Simon, but now that I've written it on the computer, it seems like it could also be representative of something like innocence or empathy, or even of the Beast, although it does seem a little too loving and gentle to be it...
Well, enjoy it anyway! XD
Lovers Lost in Innocence
by Damascus Ochre
The utter beauty of a golden sun
Shining down on an emerald rain
A forest of dew jewelling
Multicolored hues throughout the darkness
Rays of silver filtering through droplets, diamonds
To shimmer rainbows across the soil floor
Trickling gently, falling through molasses
To land gracefully on its fellow brethren
The sunshine burns warm against my salty skin
Beads of dew trailing rivulets through clean freshness
Crisp golden skin mottled in diamonds
As silver jewels brush against my lips
Your kiss so intoxicating
As we make sweet, sweet love
In a clearing far from home
Your gentle caress pulling me closer
Your bright eyes drowning me in a heaven of bliss
And I know now that I will hold you forever
Simon...
