My Last Tears

A short poem about Tidus watching his father die in his arms. Very sad.

Cold metal hits you
You fall
I rush to your side, but I know it's too late
Warm tears fill my eyes and run down my cheeks
You scold me
I don't care
All I want is for you to live
Even though I know you have to die
Inside, I feel a cold despair clutching at my heart
And your words
"You'll cry. You're gonna cry. You always cry, see? You're crying."
"I hate you Dad."
Hate, replaced by love, I never thought it would happen.
They're all looking on.
I think they know that they can't understand
Killing your own father...
It leaves an imprint
You were always scolding me
Telling me not to cry
But I think that you'd be happy to know
My last tears were for you.

The End

AN: My first poem, really sad. R&R, there isn't really much more to say.
