Chapter 1
There was a crash on the window Lily opened it to let in an owl carrying a letter. Lily knew what this letter was, it was her list of supplies she would need to attend her second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
"Lily, Lily are you up? LILY!!!"
"Huh?" as Lily opened her eyes she saw TWO... BIG...ROUND...BROWN... EYES STARING AT HER!!!
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!" she then realized who these eyes belonged
to. "POTTER YOU'D BETTER RUN BEFORE I GET MY WAND!!!
"HELP!!" screamed James now hiding behind Sirius, "Don't let her kill
me I'm too young to die!"
With her wand pointed right at James she said, "Flufferfeather"(i made
up that name myself can't you tell...lol!)
James soon found himself covered in feathers "AAAHHHH!!! EVANS CHANGE
ME BACK RIGHT NOW!!!"
Lily smiled enjoying this feathery sight of James "Nah I think I'll
keep you like this for a little while those feathers add some class,
see yah!!"
"Padfoot, I can't believe you just stood there and let her do that to
me!"
Sirius is rolling around on the floor laughing at the sight of James
"C'mon help me find the counter curse," pleaded James "then it's time
for revenge!"
"Oooo I like it let's get cracking," said Sirius finally getting over
his laughing fit.
An hour later, James was feather free. "Okay this is what I propose
we do...
"Wait not to be stupid or anything but what does propose mean?" Sirius
asked looking really confused.
"Oh God please help me," prayed James.
Dinner
Everything was going smoothly for Lily. She surprisingly hadn't been bugged by James since that morning, she was having an enjoyable conversation with her two roommates Jennifer and Caitlyn, her dinner was delicious until it was time for dessert. Lily was eating a yummy bowl of mint chocolate chip ice-cream when an all too familiar voice began talking to her.
"Hey Evans I love that beautiful smile of yours could you give me one to brighten my day?" asked James while sniggering.
Lily gave him a great, big, overly obnoxious smile. Suddenly, the whole Gryffindor table was laughing at something but Lily couldn't figure out what was so funny.
"Hey Evans," laughed James "when's the last time you brushed those teeth?"
"Huh?" Lily pulled out a mirror and saw that her usually pearly white teeth had suddenly turned green.
"POTTER WHAT DID YOU DO?!?!"
"What do you mean what did I do?" asked James innocently.
Finally realizing that Potter must have put extra green dye in Lily's ice- cream, she stood up and said "You'll pay." With that, she picked up a new bowl of non dyed ice-cream. She began chasing James around the Great Hall chucking scoops of ice-cream at James. In the process, she hit the slimy, grease ball, git Snape, "Oh well" she thought "he deserves it."
Once the ice-cream fight was over and James was covered in Mint Chocolate Chip ice-cream Lily thought, "Now that's what I call sweet revenge."
