He watched her, watched her walk through the doors to the crown ice cream shop. It was a hot day outside, and she, like him, decided to find refuge and a nice snack inside the shop.
She was talking to a group of her friends, all girls, several men straightened up and stared almost blatantly at the 5 very hot girls. Soon, behind them, a group of 4 guys came in and sat next to all but her, many of the other men in the room looked very disappoint, but still hoped that the blond that was most possibly the prettiest girl to ever grace the planet was single.
There was no strangling man, coming in late because he had something he had to do first, it as just the group of 9. They all got along very well; one of the guys stood up and told them that he'd be right back. He left and ordered for the rest of them. It took a minute, but when the orders were up, he brought them back to the table, she grabbed the raspberry ice cream Sunday and ate it slowly, savoring the taste and coolness as it brushed her tongue.
A young man, obviously being encouraged by a several others, walked up to the table. "I- miss- I think you are quite pretty." He stumbled over his form. "Will you go out with me?" The words the young man said drifted over to him, and he groaned at the terrible shot.
She offered him a small smile and shook her head in the negative. The man's shoulder's fell and he started to sulk away; her hand shot out and halted his path. "Some other girl will end up making you very happy."
He nodded and left, in a better mood than he had previously tried to retract.
Now he remembered where he had seen her before, a goddess like her wasn't hard to forget. He had seen her on the street, turning down not only two, but five other men as she walked to her destination. She seemed oblivious of her beauty, and held no interest in the male species at the moment. She was definitely, not a normal girl.
She stood up after everybody finished their desert and she started placing them on a tray, the 4 men all jumped up to do it for her, but she shot them down, saying that they can stay with their girlfriends, and she wasn't an invalid. She carried the trays away, and walked gracefully to the counter to give it to the washer, who looking at the tray evilly. But as she turned to walk back, something tripped her, and she fell into a man. The man looked down at her innocently, before turning on an angry glint. "Watch where you're going Ordango Atama."
"I'm sorry." She apologized. "I don't know what I tripped on." Her head snapped up when he snorted. "What?" She questioned.
"Can't even walk in a straight line without falling over your own feet." He jeered.
"Now that was uncalled for baka." She snapped. "If you weren't idiotic enough to stand there, then you wouldn't have been run into, why were you directly behind me anyways?"
He lifted his empty glass, had been for the last several minutes, but waited until she had given her own tray over before he caused a ruckus. "Sorry if I was just being a good customer and not making the people walk the entire building."
"ARGH! I hope I never see you again!" She yelled and walked back to the table, picking up her purse.
"See you around Ordango!" He called.
"Stop calling me that!" She yelled and stormed out of the building, back into the blistering heat, some of it came wafting back towards him, and he decided he needed to leave the icebox. Yes, she was definitely not a normal girl, and wasn't likely to forget who he was anytime soon. He just hoped he could run into her sooner, rather than later, after all, being different was hard work.
