End With A Kiss
Kel's POV
It was a clear bright Saturday morning, but even the wonderful day could not life Kel's mood. She didn't know why she was so upset. In all logical reason it didn't make sense. She should be happy. Her best friend, Neal, had just been recently married to her Yamni friend Yuki and she was overjoyed for them. Her other friends Merric and Owen were also doing well and the last she had heard of Dom was that he was well and happy with a new girl friend. When she thought about this a pang went through her heart. She didn't know why she was still hung-up on Dom. She had to let him go, she just knew he would never feel the same way about her as she did about him. Little did Kel know that someone somewhere was having very similar thoughts.
Dom's POV
Dom was glum. (A/N..I just had to use that word…) He had just broken things off with his girlfriend Theresa for no good reason. Well actually he did have a reason….but not one that any normal person would have. She was smart and funny, and pretty, but he just didn't get that feeling when he was around her. The only person who gave him that feeling was…Kel. He ran his hands through his hair, exasperated. He had to see, tell her how he felt. But he had been putting it off for so long, drowning his misery in girlfriend after girlfriend trying to get Kel out of his mind. But it didn't work, and he knew why, he loved Kel, and he would never love anyone else…ever….
Kel's POV
Kel paced back and forth in her room. She picked up her glaive and started a pattern dance, but she stopped midway, nothing could take her mind off Dom. Then a suddenly a soft knock came at her door. Kel's heart went into a flurry, maybe it was Dom! No, it couldn't be him, why would he be coming to see her when he had Theresa. Another soft knock came at the door. Kel slugged over to the door, not really wanting to answer it. She didn't even look at the person after she opened the door, only acknowledging them with a small "yes?"
"Can I talk to you?"
Her head shot up, "Dom? What are you doing here?"
"I needed to talk to you…." he trailed off.
"Okay sure come in."
"I just wanted to tell you that I broke things off with Theresa."
"Ummmm" said Kel, why was he telling her this, why would he think that she cared? Did he know that she loved him, and he had only come to tell her that even though he had broken up with Theresa he still didn't love her back?
"I-i-i-s that all?" Kel stammered.
"Um….no." said Dom. He took a step closer to her.
Kel's breath caught in her thoart as Dom moved closer to her. "What is it?" she breathed.
"I just w-w-wanted to tell you that…."
(A/N Mwhahaha I'm so evil! I just had to do that…)
Dom's POV
He couldn't do it, he couldn't tell her, he had come all the way here and now he couldn't do it. He took a deep breath and said, "IbrokeupwithTheresabecausetheonlypersonIwilleverloveisyou."
Kel's POV
"What?" Kel breathed, daring to hope that what she thought she had heard was really what Dom had said.
"I love you Kel."
And that was all Kel needed to hear, she threw her arms up around Dom's neck and pulled him down to her for a kiss. Her hands moved smoothly through his hair as his arms encircled her waist and pulled her closer. After their kiss, Kel answer Dom with a simple "I love you too Dom, I always have and I always will." and then she ended the need for talking by making her lips meet with his once more.
