AN: Hunter watches as Tori marries Blake.

"Dearly beloved we are gathered here today."

Hunter sighed as the priest continued speaking, he was at his brother's wedding and he knew he should be happy but he wasn't. How could he be when he was in love with the bride?

Tori had never been his to begin with; she had belonged to Blake the first moment they looked at each other. Hunter had so many opportunities but had squandered them.

At first he had tried to deny he was feeling anything, after all his brother was engaged in a flirtation with her. But Blake hadn't said anything. He and Tori flirted sometimes as well.

Then Lothor had been defeated and Blake had left to pursue his motocross career. Hunter had the opportunity and had a chance.

It was the night of Christmas when he had gotten her under the mistletoe and kissed her, Tori hadn't pulled away which thrilled him. Then Blake had shown up.

Cam had told him to tell Tori while he still could but he watched her with Blake and lost his nerve. He wanted his brother to be happy, and it was obvious Tori felt the same toward Blake.

But Tori had asked him about the kiss.

"It's Christmas Tori and we were under the mistletoe."

In that moment Hunter knew he had given up any chance he could've had with Tori.

Now here he was six months later watching as they were pronounced man and wife. He had the chance but he had been to chicken to take it. What could've been?

THE END.
