Gone

Gone tomorrow, lost today

"Help him please," I heard him say

"When he dies, God, guide his way,

Then I'll know that's where he'll stay."

Gone tomorrow, lost his light

In the deep and awful night

From the boy who fought the evil might

Who never gave up in the fight

Gone tomorrow, he tried so hard

To keep him alive, guilt is discard.

"I couldn't do it... not my fault..."

When he died his heartbeat stalled.

"... He's been gone one year today...

Nothing helps from what they say...

...Why'd he fight against her evil ray...

Why did it have to end this way...?"

Gone tomorrow, lost his love

Lost the signals of the dove

For it took flight in sky above

Gone tomorrow, drunk in the bar

Wondering how it went so far

Leaves his beer change in the jar

And later crashes in his car

Gone tonight, how could it be?

The car is malled in the tree.

The glass broke fast and out he flew

The pain's more than he ever knew

Gone tomorrow, lost his way

"Help me please," I heard him say

"When I die, God, guide my way,

Help me find that man today."

Gone today, he found the light

And found himself dressed clad in white,

But soon found something wasn't right

And unfogged his glasses for better sight.

Found today, he should have lived,

The Boy who always had to give

His all in deuls for all to cheer,

He realized that it was not here.

Sad today, he knew he would not find

That man he lost in reality and mind.

To his left the dias stayed

And to his right, the Heaven's gates.

Chance taken today, he pushed his way through

To the doorway of the dias, knew what he must do

To find the man he so longed to

"No giving up, I will find you."

Stepping through, not putting on slack,

With some less common sense the norman lack.

He screamed his name loud, turning back,

On the other side was Sirius Black.
