Well, it has been fun, but this truly is the end. Last chapter and the end of the longest thing I have ever written, I want to thank all the people who recognized this story and left a few words:

animeprincess1452 Nine reviews out of fifteen, quite impressive! It is clear you truly liked this story, reviewing a great number of the individual chapters and giving much needed input. I thank you for all your praise and you were a big reason I actually got this story done. Thank you so very much.

GOTEN2003UK I think you know about what I am going to say here. You are a true friend and a great inspiration for my stories and my life. Mere words can't tell you all that you have done for me during the creation of the story and it might well have died in my mind was it not for you. Peace man, friends forever.

Epsilon Grey I still want to finish reading your story one of these days, it's really cool and I would recommend it to anyone. Thanks for your review and I'm glad you found it interesting. Kids, yeah, so cute!

sonicwind123 Hey, that's cool that you found it to be funny, I think a lot of people have said a lot of things, but a few words can mean a lot to me. Thanks for the review.

Popcorn I'm glad I accept unsigned reviews, because otherwise I wouldn't have heard from you. You like Goten, yet you like to see him tortured? That's cool though, I didn't plan on it, but there was a lot, huh. And yes, Goten is Kawaii, and Trunks is too. Thanks for reviewing.

And without further adieu, the conclusion of The Chibis on Vacation:

Chapter 15: Last Chance for Victory

The ground shook, lightning split the sky with loud cracks, and mountains crumbled and fragmented away as the massive ball of Ki hurtled downward from Buu-Buu toward the Earth. There was no force in existence that could stop it now, but by Kami Yonk intended to try, and if he couldn't stop it then he planned to be the first to die from it. However, he did not plan to die, even if the chance for victory was only a billion to one at best.

But that meant there was still a chance.

His Ki was running out and it took all the young Kalltorraiya-jin had to stay at SKJ and even to stand. He looked back at his sons, they were both unconscious on the ground and the rage that was still present over the pain inflicted on them fueled his power. He held his hands by his sides and pushed all the energy he had left into the small space between his palms. He stood fast, ready, "Ka...me...ha...me..." The ball of red energy from the evil pink creature neared its target and seemed close to impact as the Ki finished forming between Yonk's hands and he thrust them in front of him, "HAAAA!!!" he yelled and the beam shot out and hit the side of the energy ball, holding it in place. Buu-Buu laughed, "It's time for you to die," he said, pushing more energy into his massive ball. Yonk struggled against it, sustaining the beam and forcing it against the wave; he couldn't hold on for long, the voice in the back of his head told him he was simply delaying the inevitable. I need more power! he thought as the force started to push further downward, he couldn't stop it.

Suddenly, his sons jumped into their stances alongside him and forced themselves back up to super Saiya-jin 2, their Ki mixing into a huge green and gold aura around the three. "Trunks? Goten?" Yonk said weakly to them. They dropped their hands to their sides and charged Ki into their hands, "Ka...me...ha...me...HAAAA!!!" they yelled in unison, adding their own energy to Yonk's beam, doubling its strength. They continued to push as much energy as they could into their attack, but it still wasn't enough. "Trunks, you can do better!" Yonk yelled out, "Goten, you too!" The boys pushed harder against the strain and Yonk went on, "Listen to me! You can't let him defeat you; you're better than he is! You could beat him all by yourselves, you don't even need me!!!" Trunks and Goten pushed as hard as they could, the beam grew slightly and the ball stopped moving forward. Buu-Buu smiled and put more energy into the ball, pushing back just as hard and it moved further toward the ground, which started cracking around the trio of fighters. All three kept up, their combined Kamehameha wave not wavering for a second, and it still was not enough, they were doomed. We...can't hold this forever, I gotta do something! Yonk thought, his Ki starting to fluctuate as the ball of energy pushed down more. It was just wrong, the good guys weren't supposed to lose to a monster like that. Yonk started to get pissed, very pissed. That bakayaro tortured my sons, killed hundreds of innocent people and insulted my power. What am I if I can't beat him? He doesn't deserve to win this, I will not lose!!! And for just a split second, something happened. Deep within Yonk's mind something snapped and all hell broke lose inside him, his Ki spiking to unbelievable levels and the beam grew just a tiny bit before the power left him as quickly as it came. But it was enough, "What?!" Buu-Buu yelled, feeling the surge in energy from the green fighter, and his concentration cracked. "NOW!" Yonk yelled and he and his sons pushed all remaining reserves into the Kamehameha which blasted forward and right through the ball of energy. "No fucking way!" Buu-Buu screamed, shooting blasts down to the approaching beam of energy, which were dissipated from the oncoming force. He powered up a last second energy shield but the combined forces from the father-sons team busted right through it and caught the evil beast, hurtling him into outer space. "This isn't the end!" he yelled as the bluish beam of pure energy sent him flying into the purifying fires of the sun with a massive explosion of Ki and flame, and the evil monster was no more.

The green and gold auras faded all at once and Yonk, Trunks, and Goten all collapsed down to the ground, powering down. Yonk felt on fire inside, he didn't know where that power had come from but it didn't matter now. His sons were just as disciplined as he and were able to tap deep into their own powers, giving it their all, that last effort had drained them to nothing; all three were dying. He crawled weakly toward them, dragging himself on the ground to cradle them in his arms; they weren't moving and were barely breathing. They had beaten the enemy yet were still going to die, but at least the Earth was safe. It wasn't enough for Yonk, he coughed, reaching into the bag of senzu at Trunks belt and pulled out a bean, the last one left. It was his sacrifice to make, so he made it. Breaking the bean in half, he pushed a half each into his young sons' mouths, giving them the gift of life, and leaving none for himself. There might have been enough for all of them, but it was irrelevant now, he wanted to make sure they would be okay; they were all that mattered to him. As he watched them stir in recovery, he mouthed silently: "You made me proud, both of you." and with one last smile his eyes clouded over and his Ki faded away, his spirit departing this world for the next.

. . .

It had been such a strange journey after death, and a pretty short one, too, now that he thought of it. Despite dying so unfairly, Yonk had walked calmly right up to Enma Daio and accepted his fate, before moving toward the craft that would take him to the plane of heaven in the other world. Just like that his path had ended, he had died fighting for the sake of a planet that was his only home, and had saved the lives of his beloved sons. But the Daio had ordered him to stop right where he was, and Yonk turned to look at him. He was checking some lists, making some notes, and then with a respectful nod had looked down to the young man. "Not yet." he said softly and all Yonk's world tipped into a brilliant light. The next thing he knew he was laying on his back, aching all over, and looking up to a black sky which lightened as he watched the Dragonballs fly upwards and scatter across the world on the seven winds. A few strong hands pulled him to his feet, they had brought him back. Maybe it is true, Yonk thought, maybe I can't stay dead; this world needs me too much. It didn't really matter; his friends had made it back in time from New Namek to wish him back to life. A few thank-you's and hugs were exchanged between them and they left to their homes, leaving Yonk and his sons alone. They ran up at once just when everyone flew off, almost bowling their Otousan over in their excitement at seeing him alive again. He pulled them both into a warm embrace and propped himself up with them against a crushed pile of rubble, gazing into the sunset. The emotion was too much for the boys, and their tears flooded down their cheeks, dripping diluted blood onto Yonk's Gi.

So many thoughts ran through his head, about dying and coming back to life, about that incredible power that had come to him to help him beat the enemy, and most of all, how he had almost let his sons die again. His heart hurt, and the guilt fell heavily on his shoulders as he looked at them, so trusting in the way they held onto him. It was all his fault, he couldn't save them and if it wasn't for that sudden spike of energy they would be gone. Dead. He wondered if this would have happened if everyone else had been there. He had tried to be a good father but wasn't cutting it, maybe he was just too young or maybe just too stupid to do it right. The pain was immense, he just couldn't do it and he made the decision in an instant, what he knew had to be done. It was the best choice, he knew, for them. But for now he held them close as they fell asleep and he used Shunken Idou to bring them back home. Tomorrow, he knew, it would be done, it had to be. He watched as they slept softly, home at last, in bed in each others arms like it should be for always. No pain, no worries, and nothing but pleasure and bliss for them now. It wasn't going to be easy, but he would have to do it. He would do it for them. He clicked off the light and closed the door, listening to them sleep softly, happy dreams floating through their heads. He leaned back, looking again at all the pictures of the Chibis framed on the wall in front of him, and all the happy memories they were about, at peace with himself knowing that Trunks and Goten were safe at last.

The End !!!

Thanks again to all of you who reviewed, and even if you didn't review (you know who you are) I want to thank you for reading this story of mine. The Chibis will return in CHIBI5: Accepting What's Right.
