Prologue: Beginning of the end
Eddie "Dumbass" Dumbrowski was scared shitless, though it wasn't much of a contrast to his usual demeanor. He had killed more in the past few days than he ever thought possible. And now, as he squares off with James Sunderland, another lost soul drawn to Silent Hill, he knows that one way or another, one path is going to the end. Either he kills James, and completes his fall into utter insanity, or he dies, ending his sad and painful life. As he runs into an adjoining room, trying to gain an edge, he wonders what could have possibly brought him to this point.
