Pirates of the Caribbean/Lord of the Rings Fan fiction.
Disclaimer: I do not own (much as I would like to) Pirates of the
Caribbean, Lord of the Rings or any affiliated characters. Now that that's
out of the road on with the story.
Note: This takes place before the end of the first Potc movie and after the
end of The Return of the King.
Jack Sparrow couldn't have been any happier. He'd gotten his ship (The
Black Pearl) back from the evil clutches of his mutinous first mate
Bartholomew Barbossa. He was sailing towards Port Royal with some looting
in mind, and he was in the best company he'd had for years. His new first
mate William Turner and his "bride to be" Elizabeth Turner. When I say
bride to be I mean they are going to hitch a ride to Tortuga and get
married there away from Commodore Norrington. This would have been the best
day of his life if only the HMS Interceptor wasn't tailing behind him
watching every move he made.
Then within a few short seconds his life was changed forever. All of a sudden all of the people on the top deck of the pearl were sucked up by some kind of freak wind that came out of nowhere. Jack landed on a large patch of open grassland, Will and Elizabeth on either side, navy officers scattered about. "Either of you have a clue where we are?" asked Jack. "No idea, it's nowhere I've been" Elizabeth replied "It seems familiar, but I can't say I've been here before." said Will "Right then seems only fair that we go and 'explore' a bit" suggests Jack "Excuse me Jack, but there doesn't appear to be anyone to loot from." Will replied giving Jack a knowing look. "Ye've got me all wrong Will, jeez I can't even look around without people thinkin' I'm up to something" Elizabeth just looks at him and he is silenced. Jack points to the navy guards. "Do ye think they'll be coming to any time soon?" "Not likely, half of them fell on their heads, so I'm guessing it could take them a few days to get moving." says Elizabeth as she assesses a guard. "Good, I've always had an urge to kick the law whenever I could. Looks like today is Jacks lucky day!" says Jack with a look of extreme delight. "Erm, Jack I'd hate to spoil your fun but we've got two men on horses coming straight at us!" Exclaims Will "Well what are you waiting for, Duck and Cover." Whispers Jack hurriedly. One fine summers day in middle earth King Aragorn of Gondor was taking a walk in his palace grounds. What he saw next was almost unbelievable. He saw ten or so people falling from the sky to the ground on the borders of Gondor. His elf friend and ally Legolas Prince of Mirkwood came running towards him. "Aragorn, did you see? There people coming from the sky! We must go and investigate this." Cried Legolas "Yes Legolas, I saw them with my own eyes. Let us go now and find out who these newcomers say they are." Replied Aragorn, glad that he was not the only one who saw these mysterious figures falling from the sky.
