Of The Darkness of the Forest
By Evolutionist Beauty
-The setting will be derived from the Harry Potter series of J.K. Rowling
Introduction
Immortal beings have almost always been feared or worshipped. The gods of Greece and Rome were worshipped as perfect beings with the power of immortality. The Christ and God of the Bible are both feared and worshipped, and also denied and hated by many. Vampires, the beautiful and deadly creatures known only through story and rumor, are immortal, and are feared.
Wizards and witches have known the existence of vampires, and are the only living sort who have been personal and close to vampires, as seeing them with their eyes and feeling their presence in an area.
The majority of the magic race has learned the merciful art of toleration towards the vampires, while retaining themselves from danger and containing the vampires to the darkness.
Therefore, vampires live in the darkness. Approaching mortal life has been accomplished and will be with the only consequence of being feared and being alone. Despite their ability, only a minority of vampires progress to the realm of the mortals, and the rest make their desperate peace in uninhabited places, or locations unfamiliar with mortals.
Chapter One
The Dark Forest of Hogwarts has been known to be the home of many creatures. Vampires are among the creatures dwelling in the forest. The vampires are growing restless and change is in the air and makes itself known through the shifting of bright eyes and heavy breaths breathed through silent lips.
Not willing to give reason to fear, but relenting to remain within the forest, the vampires wander the night, as they have for hundreds of thousands of years, searching for a definite answer to their predicament.
The trouble was the situation and the components and facts disagreeing with the reality of the situation. The wizards and witches live in the light and they live with the knowledge of being accepted. Wizards and witches can live to an advanced age, but they are immortal. The vampires live in the dark forest, away from mortal live, because they are feared and are not accepted by the mortals. The vampires are immortal, capable of living forever. Reason fails as the mortal beings of the light live in a higher state than the vampires of the darkness.
Wizards have been watching the vampires and knew of their desires and their strength. The vampires had raided towns and cities of the mortals, and the actions were not representative of all the vampires.
Separation of those who are good and evil is a typical occurrence of the mortals. Black and white, good and evil, are necessary to all mortals. The knowledge of who is good and who is evil and what is good and what is evil is a tool used by all mortals to determine their life-style and actions.
Vampires find themselves indifferent to good and evil, right and wrong. Living through the endless years, the immortals find what pleases them and discover what leaves them embittered and in pain. To live, vampires must drink blood. Wandering the night, the darkness, they look to the stars glowing and burning out in their own magnificent fire, and they seek acceptance.
Lacking not in intelligence, power, and cunning, the vampires are not planning on taking the world of witches and wizards captive, but they wait.
