Author's Note: Hey, this is my first fanfic ever, so hope you like it. It
took me a while to write the first chapter.
Chapter 1: The Fire Cat's Arrival
The young fighter looked deep into the jet black water in the lake in Makai. Her long, blackish-brown hair swayed in the wind. Her blood red eyes were focused on the water. She wore an outfit simular to to what Kurama wore duriong the final round of the Dark Tournament, except it was blue where it was yellow. She had white cat ears and tail. The girl also had cat- like claws and fangs.
In the Spirit World, Koenma was stamping some papers when a blue ogre baged in. "Koenma sir, someone or something is going through the portal that links the living world and Makai together!" He exclaimed.
Koenma looked up from his papers. "What's that? Portal? You mean the one one the one hidden in the lake? The one thats been sealed up for centuries?!" He said, his temper rising.
"Um, yes, sir." The ogre replied as a big screen appeared out of nowhere and flickered on. "Here's a picture of the particular demon, sir." He added, pointing to the image of a girl that looked human. She had blackish- brown hair and blood red eyes, along with white cat ears and tail. "Her name, and any other information is unknown."
"That's not a good thing to her. Contact Botan immediantly to warn Yusuke and the others, she could be a threat to the living world." Koenma replied.
The ogre bowed slightly. "Yes, of course." He said, leaving the room.
Just like the blue ogre had informed Koenma, the demon girl had passed through the portal hidden in the lake. She emerged out of a crystal clear lake in a forest of the living world, better known as she human world, Earth.
The young, teenage demon walked through the forest. She was soon out of it and reached the city of Tokyo, though she didn't know it. The cat-eared girl walked around the city, looking at all the humans, buildings, and her surroundings. Her cat features were not visable to ordinary humans, only to those with spirit awareness.
The girl stopped and looked over at a girl with short, brown hair. She had a milkshake in one hand and wore a dark red skirt and a white long- sleeve shirt. She was sitting on a bench next to a boy with short black hair and a green buttoned-up shirt and matching pants. "Yusuke..Urameshi.." She said in a cold but sad voice. The boy, Yusuke looked over at the girl that said her name, narrowing his eyes.
