It was a cool breezy day and Lauren walked up the stone steps of Degrassi.

"So this is it." sighed Lauren.

The 16 year old hazelnut haired girl opened the doors to

Degrassi and scanned everything trying to notice every little detail with her honey brown eyes.

She reliazed she was a little different from some people. But the person who caught her eye was

this girl, who was dressed, well it barely covered her skin, very very... how you say slutty.

She snapped out of her trance and walked immediatly to the principal's office. There, she

saw a neat, orginized office with a man who had brown hair, round gold glasses, sitting in his

office sipping a bit of his coffee from his Starbucks disposable cup. Lauren tried to cough a

little to get his attention. But he still didn't listen. She tried coughing a little harder. But

it STILL didn't work. She was now to the point where she was gagging for attention when she

heard someone say," Are you okay? "

She turned around and saw the most gorgeous guy she had ever seen. Brown curly hair, and

a camera around his neck. But what really amazed her were his extravigant eyes. She started

blushing knowing that she had made a fool out of herself on the first day of school infront of

a gorgeous guy!

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just had a little cough there." she said as she blushed.

"You must be the new girl right? I've never seen you here before. My name's Craig. Craig

Manning." He said with pride as he put out his hand to shake."

"My name's Lauren Cho." She said, still embarrased about the coughing. And shook his hand.

"I see you too have met." Said a deep voice behind of her.

She quickly turned around to see it was the man who was drinking out of the Starbucks

cup. It was so obvious that he was the principal of the school.

"Lauren, Craig will show you to your homeroom class." he said as he took another sip

from his coffee cup.

"Now you guys better get a move on it before you're late for homeroom."

As they were walking side by side, I asked it their was a music room here at Degrassi.

"Of course there is! It's my favorite part of Degrassi." He shouted joyously.

"Can we stop by and look at it?"

"Sure."

Craig and Lauren stopped infront of a room and through the window, she could see so many

instruments. There were flutes that were as shiny as the moon, Trombones made of what looked like

was gold. And their standing in the sunlight was a grand piano.

"Wow! Can we go in their?" said Lauren still amazed by the instruments.

"I don't think we should." dissapointingly said Craig.

"PLEASE!!!" whined Lauren with puppy dog eyes.

Craig couldn't stop admiring the way she smiled.

"Alright, but we have to hurry."

They slipped in and immediatly Lauren walked towards the piano. Her fingers barely

touched the white keys. She started moving her hands up and down the keys, her fingers moving

quickly in harmony. Craig couldn't stop looking at how fantastic she was. The sweet sound of the

Piano soothed Craig, and forgot that he was on earth. But then the sweet melody stopped, and

there standing in the doorway was Mr.Simpson.

"Sir, I can explain." nervously said Craig.

"Their's nothing to explain Craig. Just don't let it happen again. Now get to class both

of you." said Mr.Simpson with a half smile.

They quickly went outside the music room and went to their homeroom class.

"Well here we are. Are you ready to go in?" asked Craig.

"Yeah" Lauren replied.

They opened the door to Mrs.Kwans's Poetry class and entered a little nervously.
