"I am off to work now mom! Bye!" the girl with the chestnut hair smiled blissfully to the picture of a young woman, which was sealed in a picture frame.
She looked around her "home", making sure that everything was in the right posistion, she made a sigh of relief before formed her first smile of the day.
Well...a new day, a fresh start, and another beginning!

The little thing painfully crawled through the street. HE didn't have a clue of where he should be heading to or where he was right now. He just knew that he couldn't stand the abuse of Akito anymore and that he wanted to runaway.
Run away from the Main House...and him.
It has always been easy for him to protect himself from Akito...in his human form. However this time, Akito played smart, he commanded Aya Sohma (my makeup character), Yuki's maid who also knew the secret of the twelve animals, who hugged him. The result came out prefectly like Akito was planning, Yuki, the little rat fellow who couldn't stand the beating, ran away the second Hatori opened the door to check on Akito.
He tried to avoid all the foot steps and such, Yuki finally made it to somewhere called "Kawaii Kai pet shop".
That was the last thing he saw before everything blurred out, taken over by sudden darkness...

As usual, Tohru walked slowly with a book in her hand called "Curiosity killed the Cat". She didn't enjoy the book much herself.
Why can't the cat get any good rolls in any books? They derserved to have them. Tohru thought to herself furious. Ever since her mom told her about the Zodiac legend, she been obsessed with the cat, she felt pity for the cat for being cheated by his friend, she felt sad for the cat because he wasn't in one of the Zodiac signs. She even wanted to change her zodiac to cat instead of dog.
She hated rats, but she never told anyone about that besides Uo and Hana. She thought that the rat betrayed his friend even after the cat put so much trust on him. She would want to ask it why does he have to lie to his best buddy.
Further walking, she discovered the little animal by the door of her work place. Gawking at it slowly and fearful, she put out her shaky hand and take him to a near by vet.

The first thing he saw when he woke up was his cousin Hatori Sohma's face.
"Where...where am I?" Yuki asked unconsiously.
"My office, a young lady brought you over saying that you might almost die." Hatori said dryly.
Yuki pushed himself up, realizing that he had already turned back into his human form.
"Where...is the girl?" Yuki asked.
"Left." Hatori answered Yuki icly before taking himself to the waiting room for the next patient.
Yuki didn't have any farther interest in Hatori's office, so he decided to get off the bed and take a better view on the form that the girl filled for him.
"...Honda...Tohru..." whispering the name unconsciously, Yuki smiled.
