Poor, Poor Polarchuck
by Sockmonk
Porlee, a Grey Polarchuck, walked along, the tears dripping from his eyes were more big then ever. He had just been abandoned by his Neopet, and was sadder then he had ever been. The rain poured down on his grey fur, and he felt even more sad. He trotted along, mud puddles splashing under his feet.
"Hi little guy, you alone?" A voice asked.
Porlee spun around to see himself face to face with Dr. Death. Dr. Death grabbed him, and Porlee struggled but, fight as he did, he would never get away. Finally, Dr. Death threw poor Porlee in a cage and Porlee knew where he was, the pound. Many other Petpets and Neopets were locked up in cages, struggling and sobbing. Porlee thought, "This is a horrible place. I hate it."
Then, in the corner of his eye, he could see an owner, coming near him. Then Dr. Death undid the lock on the cage and opened the cage door, and Porlee stepped out. The owner was a girl with flowing blonde hair. She lifted him up and hugged him.
"You're the right petpet for my pet." She said.
And, for the first time in his life, Porlee smiled a very happy smile.
