Your journey has begun
Your memory remains
Your laughter and smile
Your spirit, your mind
Were taken away
This wonderful self
I cannot forsake
Close now your eyes
My free-spirit child
They may take your body
But your heart beats, alive
I know life is tough
People so callous and rough
But with a smile you stood tall
To the end there you were
The bravest of all
So now you can rest
And please have no fear
