Disclaimer: I do not own Dark Angel or any of the Characters mentioned in this story. This is a mix between what I think season 3 would have contained if we had cut off like the last 6 episodes of the Second and final season.....(tears)

This is just to show how really awful my old writing is considering I did it so long ago and I have matured a lot in how I write and what about.

"Max, what the hell is going on with you?" Logan's voice came from the opposite end of the large living room.

Standing at the window Max hadn't even noticed Logan's arrival at his own home. She smiled at the poring rain and turned to him, "Just watching it rain. Sorry, I let myself in is that okay?"

He nodded, she had always been welcome in his house and he wouldn't turn her out for a little breaking and entering because that had been how they had met the first time. Of course this was years later and nowhere near how it had been when they first met. A lot had changed but they had managed to keep their relationship in tacked even through the whole virus thing. Logan remembered finally that Max had asked him a question and he answer promptly, after of course he remembered how to speak, "No, of course don't worry about it, its fine. You come and go as you please anyway. Who am I to say different?" Max shrugged, "You know who you are to me Logan......" but she didn't finish her sentence she never had to with him ad she probably never would, it was as if he could read her mind, and yet it didn't bother her at all.

Logan moved off into the kitchen, poking his head back into the living room only long enough to tell Max that he was making super and there was nothing she could do to get out of hit, at least not tonight.

Max recognized Logan's tone. It was the third anniversary of the date Max had barged in to Logan's apartment. She almost laughed at herself, what would Zach say; she thought to herself, her sentimental side wasn't any good for her or for Logan. She should have left then but it wasn't that easy. Logan was one hard man to walk away from, especially now days. He was even harder to get away from now that she couldn't touch him and she didn't understand why.

Soon Logan was calling for her from the kitchen, and as she made her way there she didn't know what she was going to say to him. She loved his cooking and that surly wasn't what she wanted to get away from, but she didn't want to stay, just not tonight. Was all she could think to say but she knew she wouldn't. She would sit and have the perfect dinner and go home perfectly alone to a perfectly cold bed where she would gain no sleep at all because of her perfectly awesome dreams of Logan. Logan: the one man she wanted but couldn't even get close enough to touch.

But in the end she did go in and have dinner with Logan, no objections stated. As for the rest of the night it went exactly how she had thought. She went home, alone, and tried to sleep and failed, miserably. Soon however she was destined to get up and put 200 CC''s of raw engine power between her legs.

Moving through Sector 7 her mind was plagued by the fact that she hadn't seen Alec or Sam alone, well without each other, for about 3 or 4 weeks. She wondered what was going on behind the evil mind of Alec, but at the same time she didn't dare contemplate. Whatever he thought he saw in Sam, if he ever looked at her like that, she would rip out his eyeballs. Soon enough though she moved through Sector 7 and was cruising through 8 when she spotted Joshua.
