Sammy and Craig looked at the monitor that the doctor had pointed out. "See right there?" she asked. "That's the baby's head."
Sammy looked up at Craig who were staring like it was some kind of joke that he actually believed or something.
"Do you want to know the sex of the baby?" the doctor asked.
Sammy looked back up at Craig. "Do you?" she asked.
Craig swallowed and nodded. He had been nervous since they first arrived, nervous and a little bit excited, she guessed.
"Yeah," Sammy said.
"Ok," the doctor looked at the screen and then turned to the two teenagers. "Say hi to your little girl."
Craig was holding Sammy's hand and his tightened as he smiled.
"Congratulations," the doctor said.
Craig leaned down and kissed Sammy.
"Happy?" she asked.
"Yeah," he replied.
